Caused burning, itching, redness - be careful
I have been using Olay products for over 25 years, since my Nana gave me a tube of Oil of Ulan when I was 13. I have always appreciated the SPF sensitive skin options and reasonable price. The last few years I have used Complete Defence, but I was unable to buy it recently so I bought Complete UV Protection Moisture Lotion, SPF 15, Sensitive - which I have used before. I had a huge allergic reaction to it - my skin was burning and red, it looked like I had been severely sunburned, and it was unbelievably itchy. It took about a week to recov...Read more
er, and even then left scaly patches, as though I'd had an acid skin peel. I did not think it was Olay, because due to COVID lockdown, my routines have been upended and I have been using different products. Two days ago I used the Olay lotion again and woke up yesterday with the same burning, itching face and neck. I narrowed it down to two possible products, and tried one on each arm, and sure enough the Olay lotion is causing it! Then I got online and saw all the similar reviews! What has happened Olay? There must have been a new formula or something, and now I have to find a new brand. It's so disappointing to not be able to trust a brand that has been around for multi-generations.Purchased in June 2020.

Olay, not as sensitive for me !
I was so happy to find a product that is for sensitive skin and at such a good price. I had been using it for about a week when I had a reaction to it. I suffer frequently from hives so I was upset that I could no longer use it. I did stop using it for around six months then gave it another try only to have the same reaction. It did have a real chemical smell to it so I did read the label and was quite surprised, or not, by the nasty list of ingredients on the back. I have now changed to Certified Organic products, what a relief for my skin but it does cost more. The Olay was worth the try , just not for me.
Purchased in January 2019 at Munno Para Foodland for A$6.00.
