Good and Bad
Loved my first jar, beautiful fragrance, texture is amazing and it created a flawless base for my foundation. However, just got a new jar and it’s a totally different texture product, it made my face all hot and red, my foundation caked and wouldn’t set and in the end I had to fully wash my face remove everything and start again with another moisturiser. Devastated :(

- Luminous Whip
smooth and smells heavenly
One fact I love about this product is it does not feel greasy at all! I put this on top of another lightweight moisturizer and it does not feel heavy!

Luminous Whip is amazing
I have the most sensitive skin when it comes to new products, I can break out into pimples and acne like boils if a product is too harsh. However I took the risk and tried this because I loved the fact that it had a ‘matte’ finish. It did not disappoint! It has a gorgeous texture and a lovely matte finish that makes me feel like I’m wearing a light pressed powder. It’s great under my makeup or on its own. I also used the SPF version of this cream when I was on vacation which has a more sunscreen type texture and a more shiny finish and it gave me a beautiful glow under my makeup all day, perfect holiday vibes. It’s a bit expensive for me but I enjoy it. Really happy that I didn’t get any pimples!

Find out how Olay Luminous Whip compares to other Moisturisers

I really liked that it wasn't thick or greasy. Felt really nice on the skin. I did have a few dry spots which is totally normal for me but I liked that it felt fresh.
The Holy Grail of skincare products...
I have never been so motivated to write a review for a skincare product. Olay Luminous Whip is AMAZING! I've always had problematic skin and I've used just about every product out there. Prescription products from dermatologists, pharmaceutical grade products, and top shelf products from luxury skin care lines. I've also had laser resurfacing performed by a top surgeon.
I used to look down on OLAY as an overpriced, under-performing, chemist line, but I was so wrong. My mum received the 11g size of Luminous Whip as a gift and gave it to me to ...try. I read the ingredient list and thought it was nothing special, but once again I was so wrong. I'm 52, menopausal and I have acne and dry, aging skin. Hormonal acne mostly around the chin and red flushing particularly on my cheeks. It's an absolute nightmare. None of my usual products were working, so in desperation I tried the Olay Luminous Whip. Within minutes of applying the redness of a particularly angry crop of zits on my chin was reduced by at least 50%. The next day the size and redness were significantly reduced. I was amazed and shocked by the visible results I was seeing after use. I've since purchased the 50g Luminous Whip and if Olay ever discontinue or reformulate this product I will be devastated. Utterly devastated... It won't suit everyone, but I'm absolutely in love with it. After application, it instantly absorbs into the skin, leaving an almost powdery, matte finish. I applied a second layer which also instantly absorbed into the skin. It's a strange sensation if you're used to heavier lotions and creams. But the results have been breathtaking and I think it will perform really well during humid summers. UPDATE: After a year of using this moisturiser my skin became even more clogged and congested. Although it initially felt really nice upon application, and I was addicted to the powdery, matte finish, in the long term I don't think it suits my skin. I've now stopped using it.
