Works well for (outdoors) walking, no so much for in-house
I've tested its accuracy and it's pretty good. It's light weight and easy to move from pocket to pocket. So if you're looking for something to track your outdoors walking (I don't run) I'd recommend it.
The 4 star instead of 5 is that I mainly want to use it to ensure that, as an older Australian, I keep to a minimum number of steps over the day. Pre pandemic this was not a problem as I regularly walked everywhere. Staying self-isolating and it becomes one as the device seems to take a couple of steps before it starts counting. I assume this i...s to prevent false positives. However it also means for someone doing mostly short trips around the kitchen, between rooms etc that the device severely undercounts. Update: I spent yesterday pruning roses. The green-bin is off-centre in the garden so 3 steps to the roses in one direction and 5 steps in the other (plus movement around each bush as I pruned). After two hours of constant movement between bin and roses the Tracker showed an increase of 100 steps.
