Works well for (outdoors) walking, no so much for in-house
I've tested its accuracy and it's pretty good. It's light weight and easy to move from pocket to pocket. So if you're looking for something to track your outdoors walking (I don't run so I can't comment) I'd recommend it.
The 4 star instead of 5 is that I mainly want to use it to ensure that, as an older Australian, I keep to a minimum number of steps over the day - and the device is designed to ignore any trip shorter than 4 seconds.
Pre-pandemic this was not a problem as I regularly walked everywhere so I was constantly making l...ong'ish trips. Self-isolating and it becomes a problem as a significant part of my lifestyle now takes place in the garden and in the kitchen. The kitchen is less than 4 steps across and a lot of gardening is moving around from bush to bush, constantly stopping so a lot of my movement is not being counted. Using it this way also means wearing it basically most of the time. Battery life then comes down to around two to three months. The battery is a CR2032, which is readily available but expensive (circa $5 per battery) if you want a brand name and buy at a supermarket. However they are readily available in packs from eBay at a much lower price (unbranded in bulk can be under 50 cents each)
