I ordered this mattress and didn’t even get it delivered as an email came through a few days later asking for a $150 freight fee. Have requested a refund and have gone to Ecosa instead - no hidden fees with them and looking forward to a better mattress!

King bed sags, support team really unhelpful
I’m barely getting any sleep as the mattress sags in the middle. I tried to contact support about it, and they really didn’t care or seem to be at all helpful. I had to ask them the same question multiple times. They’ve offered a refund which I will shortly accept after my new mattress arrives.

This mattress is very firm, i’m a side sleeper and woke up with intense back pain after using this mattress. Despite me not liking the mattress One Bed were really helpful with the return and had great customer service.

The quality of the mattress is good but the top cloth of the mattress is very bad quality leaving furs and threads out..not happy with the quality of the product

Don’t follow through
Mattress felt hard. Wasn’t overly awesome for the amount of good reviews. Also said if I gave them a review they would send a pillow and never sent it. I followed up about the pillow and still got nothing.
Yesterday, I decided to purchase 4 mattresses from Onebed (2 kings and 2 queens) for my new home. I chose Onebed mainly due to the fact that they offer a 125-night free trial but also because they were offering all sizes for the price of a single.
This morning, I was contacted by a Onebed team member by the name of [name removed] to confirm the order was not fraudulent due to the amount ordered. I was surprised to receive such a phone call and confirmed the order was mine however verbal confirmation was apparently not enough.
[name removed] ...then requested I provide the last 4 digits of the card number I used to purchase. I found this to be very unusual but as it was only the last 4 digits, I provided the information as requested. This apparently was also not enough to confirm the order was in-fact mine as [name removed] then requested I send a copy of my credit card to Onebed’s email account. I obviously refused to do any such thing as emails are in no way secure and doing such a thing could possibly lead to my account being compromised. I discussed in length with [name removed] how asking for consumers to send through personal cards like this could implicate them and how this is also not a legal or accepted practice. [name removed] had no response to these fears and continually told me it was the only way to safeguard ONEBED from suffering financial loss (note how [name removed] was only interested in the implications for Onebed and not the consumer). I again repeated myself on the implications this could have for consumers and that I would not, under any circumstances, send through a copy of my credit card and that the order would need to be cancelled. [name removed] advised me that she would be in touch with the security team to see if they could make an exception to their extremely dodgy security protocols and that she would call me to advise the outcome. [name removed] never called. Instead, she decided to email me requesting I send through a copy of my credit card (apparently now I can cover all details excl. the last four digits and my name) in addition to a valid photo ID. In response to her email, I refused (once again) and advised that I would like my order to be cancelled with an immediate refund provided. [name removed] advised that she had prioritised my refund and that confirmation would be sent via the returns team once processed. This still hasn’t been completed. If my refund is not received by COB tomorrow, I will be submitting a formal complaint with both my bank and with the ACCC.

Destroyed my lower back
There's definitely something fishy going on with these high rating reviews. And I have fallen for these good reviews. I have been using this mattress over 6 months and from day 1, I have been hating it. It is waaaay too firm and damaging my lower back at this moment.
Definitely stay away, if however you like sleeping on a wooden pallet.

Completely killed My back.
Woke Up every night in pain. Tried to suffer it and give it the proper 30 day trial and within two weeks my back was gone. It's So uncomfortable and provides very little support. You'd be better off with a cheap foam mattress on the floor at least you'd get some cushion. I'm shocked so many people enjoy it. I would think very few people could sleep on this bed with this level of firmness and lack of support. Might be great for some people but I’d be very cautious of getting this mattress unless you have experience super super firm. My sleeping duck firm level was perfect in comparison.

If you like a firm mattresses then you’ll love this bed. Even with the interchangeable layers it’s still firm. I was hoping this mattress would fix my sore back but instead it’s made it worse. My partner also does not like the mattress and we will be returning it.

Way too firm even with pillow topper. Terrible service, expecting us to arrange a charity to collect when it's part of their refund policy that they'll do it. Worst company!

Not happy with the quality of the bed
I purchased OneBed single mattress last year November after reading the online reviews but I really regret that decision now. The quality of the bed is bad - the middle portion of the bed is too soft creating a sinking feeling through out the night resulting in backaches daily. When I contacted them a month after the purchase, they suggested to interchange the latex layer with memory foam but it did nothing to improve my experience. I requested them to inspect the bed and see if this was a one off defective one, but they have no such process -...it is either you have it or return it. The return process was not smooth either as I had to make so many calls to sort out the return. Overall it is a big disappointment as i missed out an opportunity to buy a quality bed when there were so many offers going on.

Worst Mattress Ever.!! terrible customer service
Terrible service, I have called and email them numerios time to arrange pick up and refund of my mattress as mattress is too firm and retain heat, because of COVID-19 they said I have to wait for few weeks before they arrange the pick up. Onebed Managing Director [Name Removed] called me today said he won't be able to process pick up and refund due some random guy provided wrong information to him. Worst company ever I do not recommend anyone to buy onebed mattress

Very disappointed - terrible customer service
Incredibly disappointed. I researched this mattress and purchased it on behalf of my elderly parents, choosing the OneBed above other "boxed mattress" options. My mother was then contacted and advised that due to her location (2 and half hours from capital city, and by no means remote) that she would be required to pay an additional $50 in freight. I was outraged to hear this given the "Free Shipping Australia wide" is stated on the website with no conditions. My mother, confused, paid the additional freight but advised via return email that she was unhappy with this. Her money was taken and there was no further response from OneBed re: her concern. I am outraged and will be taking this further.
Even on the softest setting its rock hard
Imagine an extra firm spring mattress.. well a OneBed Mattess on the softest setting is EVEN HARDER than that.
Very uncomfortable, heavy and a pain to sleep on. Would not recommend.

I purchased this bed at the start of the year, at first I thought it was wonderful I still actually like the firmness of the mattress. During the first few months I noticed the top layer of the mattreas move across a little bit, I moved it back and kinda didn't think about it much as life gets busy. Recently though the top layer has moved across much more often and much further out, my boyfriend went to sit on the edge and almost fell of because it was overhanging so much!
I emailed the onebed team because this couldn't possibly be how the be...d was designed, they didn't even ask for photos and immediately said that I could go and buy certain products to fix this... That didn't seem fair, I am a student and don't have money to fix something that shouldnt have a problem in the first place. I emailed back and explained this and they responded saying that's all they could do is offer that advice. There were a few more emails back and forth and it didn't get anywhere so I called the team. When I spoke to someone on the phone i explained the situation. The lady on the phone mentioned the trial period which I was no longer in and she said I should have returned it in the trial period as it was a change of mind for the product and nothing more. In the trial problem it didn't seem like an issue, and now i feel like I have a dodgy mattress, I mentioned this and she argued for about 10 minutes saying it wasnt rather change of mind of the product. Again no one asked for photos of the problem. I said that it should be covered under warranty as its a flaw, she said the bed is designed to be interchanged. When I asked of it was meant to move across I was told that no it's not designed to do that... But still apparently just my preference! I've sent them photos and now no reply. Also noticed a slight sag in the mattress. They are not willing to take responsibility for issues. They are not willing to take on complaints and improve their bed from them. They ignore you. They don't care about customer rights and warranty. They confuse warranty and trials. Do not buy from them!!!!
