The worst cleaners I have ever used. Had to do everything again myself and they insisted on payment prior to them finishing the job. One flare didnt care & no refund!!!
Tradies have to pay to respond to your job request
I was unaware that tradies have to pay $30 to respond to the job request. So if you change your mind and dont cancel the job you are rung by tradies who have paid $30 to respond to a job thats no longer available. This is unfair to the tradies.
Avoid oneflare, try other forms of advertising
We were with them and found leads go very fast (theres not enough of them) and are very low quality. Most dont respond and if they do they want it for dirt cheap. waste of time and energy (demotivating) Try other forms of advertising
Not entirely bad, but be careful with Oneflare
I received a sales call from Onflare a few weeks back and later bought some 'credits' for leads.
I have had a 20% response rate (compared to my overall 80% through my two other direct marketing channels) but when I queried a somewhat questionable lead; they only came back with an auto-responder which admitted they don't verify many of their leads. Also the number of credits charged for leads has gone up... after the purchase.
I won't be spending any more of my budget with Oneflare.
October 22nd 2019 Update: Dishonest representation of what ...they provide advertisers May I warn potential advertisers with Oneflare that these people do not represent your best interests. I have found their leads to be generally unqualified and after I signed on as the only provider in my sector in my area they jacked the price per lead up significantly claiming that because I had signed on there had been a 100% increase in demand, hence the price rise. Oneflare have now cancelled my account balance to zero and are refusing to provide a statement of transactions which would enable me in formalising my complaint to the Office of Fair Trading. Be very, very careful before you flush you advertising budget down the toilet of Oneflare. I'm using my real name and I'm happy to discuss this with anyone who has a question.
Very poor service- took money and did not complete job
Service requested to install a door and jam by carpenter Jason. Do not use him. He came and said he would remove the door, take the full amount of money $550 and return the following day to install the door.
He never came back. Reported to Oneflare they were useless. Never using service again. Future customers be careful.
Disappointed on first go
Posted a couple of jobs on Thursday, an auto electrical (install two dash cams) and a window tint job, two days later no quotes. So abit disappointed on my first try. I'll give it another go for electrical soon and see if I get a different response.
Misleading, unfair and maybe even unethical.
I was looking for a website designer. After submitting my job, I was unhappy to see in the email I got that the companies quoting had paid to submit a quote. I had tried to see if that was how they operate but that information was not readily available. I know there is exploitation of graphic designers with this style of website and I wanted to avoid being part of something like that.
I specifically wanted someone local and the 3 quotes I got were from 200-800km away. They called literally the second I clicked submit, and have each continued t...
Got conned out of my money
Posted a job to fix a leaking aircon, guy quoted me $125 inc materials, charged me more than double and didn't even fix it. Still leaking. Won't answer messages now.
We saw dnd Solid Concrete working next door (obtained through Oneflare), so we asked them to do a job for us too. We paid them in full (a mistake!) but they have not returned to complete the job.
Total waste of time
Waited a full 24 hours as the site recommended and didn't get a single reply to the most simple of jobs involving a fridge repair. Should have just rung a professional instead of waiting all day to for nothing. Don't waste your time, just Google the professional you need like everyone else does and call them on the spot.
Prepare to have your phone and email spammed
Non stop bombardment of time wasting quoters asking for more information for your job. Flooded with emails, phone ringing non stop. Is this good or bad? I have a business to run i can't afford to field 10+ phone calls within the first 2 minutes of posting a job, even if they can't quote off the info given they just spam you to get the foot in the door.
Take your money and will not take phone calls, an absolute joke. Do not use them. They will rip you off.
booked a cleaner. instead of getting 3 different quotes, they referred me to their own company called urban you.
they billed my credit card a week before the cleaner arrived. they under quoted for the service then billed me $330 to deep clean a 1 bedroom unit. the bathroom floor and shower was still dirty. could not get hold of one flair over the weekend because their call centre is closed over the weekend. the customer service team were unhelpful. they said they could not do anything as it has been over 24 hrs since the clean and wanted to ...
Only one quote by sms and wanted cash up front paid into bank account
For my carpentry job, I only got one contact, not 3 like Oneflare suggested. The one 'qualified' tradesman had only been listed with Oneflare for 3 months and did not have a single review. I checked his ABN and he is not registered for GST. I decided to check a few other carpenter and tiling listings and guess what, none of them were registered for GST. Makes me wonder about the Oneflare statement about 'qualified businesses' if they are not registered for GST. The guy only sent me a text quote because of 'computer problems' and asked me t...o put $1000 into his bank account up front. I sent an email to Oneflare about the dodgy practice and did not even get a reply. I wonder about some of the Oneflare reviews -nearly every day there are 3 five star reviews from unverified, first time reviewers.....mmmmm I suggest readers focus on verified reviews.
Posted a mechanic wanted for clutch job on truck , did not get one response. Was easy job and easy location to get to . Still no replys
