I am very impressed with the power the Optimum blender. I have had a Sunbeam blender for the past 10+ years and was happy with its performance. However once it broke down I decided to see what else was on the market. I decided to purchase the Optimum as is was Australian made and couldn't see any bad reviews. I am very happy I purchased one. I thought the Sunbeam was good with blending ice, it was a bit noisy and scary, always wondering if the blades were going to break. The optimum blends ice with total ease. Instead of always being sli...ghtly anxious about breaking the blades, I can now switch on the blender and relax. I also think it is a bit quieter compared to the Sunbeam. I have realised not to blend for too long as it is so powerful, that it will actually melt the ice and start to warm up the mixture. So it is quicker and needs less time to blend things. I am also impressed with the mechanism where the jug connects to the base. It is full metal on metal so it will not wear easily. The Sunbeam had metal on plastic and I needed to have the base replaced under warranty at one stage because the plastic was all worn down and didn't work. I would recommend anyone to purchase the Optimum Blender. The customer service is also 100%.

Excellent product and outstanding service!
This is a powerfull blender, excellent for smoothies, fruit shakes, and is able to handle large amounts.
Very good for making flour from dry grains, like buckwheat.
Also, the service was amazing!
Brilliant high powered blender for a great price.
Have had this blender for around half and year and use it every week. Makes quick work of smoothies with seeds and frozen fruit, and also makes great nut butters.

Excellent quality, value &outstanding customer service!
Having owned the previous model for a few years without any issues, I was already very impressed by the quality of Optimum blenders. No wonder they are a competitor to the more expensive brand (that remain unnamed)!
I had been using the previous model at least weekly without fail. Mainly for blending oats into flour, soaked dates into date paste (sugar substitute) and making bliss balls (blending the above 2 ingredients together plus others). It was also able to blend dry rice without issues. Over the years, the odd pit in the dates eventually...

Best blender I’ve used
If you love making smoothie bowls this is the blender for you. Everything gets crushed and mixed together beautifully. I spent ages researching blenders with tampers and was deciding between a vitamix and this. I don’t regret my choice at all. Don’t hesitate in investing in this!

A versatile addition to my kitchen
Thanks Froothie for this sturdy blender. It does what I wanted it to do (crushes ice for delicious smoothies; makes hummus), and it also does some extra things I had no idea it could do - namely, chopping onions! Here is a YouTube video I made which features this blender and its onion-chopping abilities. It took me a bit of getting used to the blender and how to get it to work effectively (like - the blades always need to be surrounded by food, otherwise the machine goes into overdrive and I have to wait for it to cool down and then press the r...e-set button on the bottom), but now that I know how it works, and how to keep the blades surrounded by food (I take the jug off the blender and give it a bang on the bench, rather than using the tamper tool, which makes more dishes to wash), it is a kitchen favourite. I love how it's so easy to set up, then wash and pack away. Here is a YouTube video I made featuring this blender, as well as a still photo from the video where I start chopping onions.

7 years later still going strong!
I bought a blender from Froothie in 2013 back when I was living with major chronic illness and was taking good care of my health holistically. Froothie told me it would be a wait to get the blender as a new shipment was being sent to Australia, and they kindly offered me an upgrade (the 9200!) at no extra cost. I literally cried at their kindness. I needed that blender so badly. They’re an awesome company to do business with.
That blender was a God send and to this day in late 2020 it still works PERFECTLY after years of regular, constant, alm...

Makes great Acai Bowls
I bought this blender so I can make Acai Bowls and healthy 'ice creams'. I can say it's definitely the best blender I have had so far; I only need a tiny bit of water with my frozen fruit to get a really ice smoothie bowl!
However, I noticed that the stick that you bump food down with has a chunk missing; I hope it didn't get into the blades?! (I will contact froothie about it and am sure they will help me)

Couldn't be happier except...
I'm very happy with the blender. Very simple to use and easy to clean. The blending process is fast and the resulting product extremely smooth. I believe it's worth the money. However the noise it produces while blending can be scary. It is pretty loud!!

Very easy to operate and clean!
I definately can recommend this product especially for the sale price.

I was looking for blender to make flours and was choosing between Vitamix and Froothie decided to choose Australian blender and very happy with the choice. Also good customer service
Terrible blender. Horrible customer service
The blender was broken after 4 months of use! (Only smoothie). The screw was out of the base, unscrewed itself. 2 months I’m waiting a solution after customer service. Nothing

Is there anything this machine CAN'T handle?
I purchased this blender from the Froothie website recently, when there was a sale on. My old Breville blender was on death's door after about 5-6 years of service & I had been tossing up between Optimum's 8200 model and the Omniblend V; but upon discovering this model for around half its normal RRP (which was about $100 cheaper than the Omniblend V), I jumped at the opportunity....and can honestly say that I don't regret it!
This is a powerful piece of equipment. So far I've put it to the test creating smoothies using frozen fruit (+ other bi...ts & pieces, like oats, chia seeds, almond milk, raw cacao powder etc), creating nut butter from unsalted peanuts & even whipping up nutty buckwheat pancake mix for breakfast. For the most part, my concoctions have come out well blended, BUT I will stress that this doesn't always occur. When it comes to my frozen smoothies, it has been a case of trial & error trying to get the right consistency (even when using the tamper tool - which I always use for my smoothies - I still find bits of frozen banana or strawberry in my drink occasionally) & timing (I now use the 20 second function as I like mine super cold. Any longer & I find that my smoothies lose the icy consistency due to the power of the machine heating up the contents). I also found a little bit of flour wasn't quite blended in with the aforementioned buckwheat pancake mix, but that sometimes happened even with my old and far less powerful Breville blender. When it comes to creating nut butter, man....I've NEVER eaten homemade peanut butter quite like it! It is creamy & smooth as silk. The only downside? Having to scrape it all out of the blender. Despite being given a slightly curved spatula with my blender (props to Froothie for that), I still found it difficult to scrape every last skerrick out from under the blades. I know you can disassemble the blender somehow, but I'd rather not do that as I know I probably wouldn't be able to re-assemble the damn thing! I've also had a slight issue putting the lid on sometimes as it is an uneven kind of shape, so it's for these reasons that I can only give 4 stars instead of 5. (Also want to mention 2 more things: 1. The blender jug & lid are easy enough to clean, provided you do it straight after use and 2. Despite its power, it's not as loud as I initially feared.) Given how often I use the blender (at least twice a week, if not more), this beauty now has pride of place on my kitchen bench, relegating a largely unused juicer to the kitchen cupboard. The black version that I purchased also looks rather sleek. Despite my small qualms, overall I'd highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a top quality blender without an eye-gouging price tag.

Best of all!!
Its amazing how powerful this blender is! I've had other blenders before, but none that worked as good as this one. I can use it for making nut butters as well! I am really happy!!

Best blender I've ever had!
I've never had a blender so smooth, powerful or just brilliant! Totally upped my smoothie game, it makes smoothie bowls so creamy so quick with minimal liquid. I'm so happy with it ;)

Questions & Answers
is it dishwasher safe?
Hey Peter, the jug of the 9200A is not dishwasher save. However the jug is easy to clean, just add water and a few drops of dish soap and blend on high for 20-30 seconds, then rinse it out and done :)
Thanks for reply,I can only hope its as strong as the Glass Jug, Time will tell guess

Optimum’s 9200A high-speed blender enjoys an impressive 4.9-star rating. With a decent number of domestic and commercial functions enabled by its powerful 2,611 watt motor, there seems to be little that the Optimum 9200A can't handle.
Functions of the Optimum 9200A:
- Crushes ice
- Blends whole fruits and vegetables
- Makes green smoothies
- Automatic blending options for 20, 30 or 45 seconds
- Grinds nuts and grains
- Makes nut butters and nut milks
- Built-in overload sensor
This is in addition to any regular blending tasks that less advanced blenders can perform.
Happy reviewers really liked that their Optimum 9200A blended smoothly with ‘nil chunky bits.’ This often involved blending smoothies, but also included smooth nut butters and flours.
