Paradigm shift to the mornings of my life!
I have to just get up and get ready with what goes into my smoothie in the mornings. Voila! I'm on my way to whatever the day has in store!
Purchased in October 2021 for $398.00.
Great Customer Service
I've used my blender to make perfect smoothies every morning for the past two years. Unfortunatley one of the blades broke off while blender was being washed. I rang support team and was very suprised how quicky they responded to my email. After asking some questions and requesting some photos of the problem they explained it was still under warranty and offered to replace the jug and blade. The only feature that I dislike is the way the jug is looking milky even though I clean it with warm water and drop of detergent after each use. However that is only a minor problem and doesn't deter from the machine's excellent ability to do its job.

Very Bad Customer Service
I have a blender and the Jug required replacing. I ordered and Paid for a new Jug and have been waiting 6 months for it. They have never contacted me, only ever responded to my emails. The responses were just untrue, having been told that it was held up at the dock due to union issues a month ago and now that it is not even in the country. Don't trust them.
Great food blender
I was looking around the market for food blenders to do more or less everything i need in a food blender. I was looking around at more expensive food blenders when i came across reviews for the Optimum, so i took the plunge on one and it was one of my better decisions

I got this as an upgrade from another smaller bullet type blender. It has exceeded my expectations and blends ice, fruits and vegetables so smoothly! We use this daily and havent had any issues with it.
Looking forward to receiving
The item has been delayed due to it being popular, interactions with the company have been great, I am looking forward to receiving the blender and using it for my smoothies.
I was looking for blender to make flours and was choosing between Vitamix and Froothie decided to choose Australian blender and very happy with the choice. Also good customer service
Terrible blender. Horrible customer service
The blender was broken after 4 months of use! (Only smoothie). The screw was out of the base, unscrewed itself. 2 months I’m waiting a solution after customer service. Nothing

Is there anything this machine CAN'T handle?
I purchased this blender from the Froothie website recently, when there was a sale on. My old Breville blender was on death's door after about 5-6 years of service & I had been tossing up between Optimum's 8200 model and the Omniblend V; but upon discovering this model for around half its normal RRP (which was about $100 cheaper than the Omniblend V), I jumped at the opportunity....and can honestly say that I don't regret it!
This is a powerful piece of equipment. So far I've put it to the test creating smoothies using frozen fruit (+ other bi...ts & pieces, like oats, chia seeds, almond milk, raw cacao powder etc), creating nut butter from unsalted peanuts & even whipping up nutty buckwheat pancake mix for breakfast. For the most part, my concoctions have come out well blended, BUT I will stress that this doesn't always occur. When it comes to my frozen smoothies, it has been a case of trial & error trying to get the right consistency (even when using the tamper tool - which I always use for my smoothies - I still find bits of frozen banana or strawberry in my drink occasionally) & timing (I now use the 20 second function as I like mine super cold. Any longer & I find that my smoothies lose the icy consistency due to the power of the machine heating up the contents). I also found a little bit of flour wasn't quite blended in with the aforementioned buckwheat pancake mix, but that sometimes happened even with my old and far less powerful Breville blender. When it comes to creating nut butter, man....I've NEVER eaten homemade peanut butter quite like it! It is creamy & smooth as silk. The only downside? Having to scrape it all out of the blender. Despite being given a slightly curved spatula with my blender (props to Froothie for that), I still found it difficult to scrape every last skerrick out from under the blades. I know you can disassemble the blender somehow, but I'd rather not do that as I know I probably wouldn't be able to re-assemble the damn thing! I've also had a slight issue putting the lid on sometimes as it is an uneven kind of shape, so it's for these reasons that I can only give 4 stars instead of 5. (Also want to mention 2 more things: 1. The blender jug & lid are easy enough to clean, provided you do it straight after use and 2. Despite its power, it's not as loud as I initially feared.) Given how often I use the blender (at least twice a week, if not more), this beauty now has pride of place on my kitchen bench, relegating a largely unused juicer to the kitchen cupboard. The black version that I purchased also looks rather sleek. Despite my small qualms, overall I'd highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a top quality blender without an eye-gouging price tag.

One of the best
Just received the 9200A (V2) to replace our Sunbeam which sadly overheat. Like the previous reviewer our unit also come with the white paint type of materials which stuck to the power cord.
2L jug capacity with a non slip handle, the sprout construct above the 2L mark is very useful addition. I like the overload reset button located just below the unit.
Most of our fruits are already pre-cut so no issue with the blending. Bleending ice and frozen fruits mix is no issue on the fast setting or the 45 secs setting.
Not sure if the plastic cover over the on/off button will last. For now very good blenders , as for longevity that we have to wait. We used at least 4 times a day and everyday.

Some manufacturing faults
The blender came with some faults. The faults are cosmetic. The branding/logo on the unit is jagged and looks very unprofessional and the cable that attaches to the machine has a white substance on it that does not come off with light cleaning. I contacted Froothie, they were pleasant in their communication, but did take a very long time to respond and did not offer any compensation for the faults. In the end, I asked if they would compensate for the faults and all that was offered was a measly $20. Although the faults are only cosmetic and not...mechanical, I found these issues a nuisance. I invested a lot of money in an appliance that I expected to be of high quality in terms of both the aesthetics and mechanics. Optimum market themselves as a top-end, extremely high quality product. Sadly, on the aesthetics side, I am disappointed. Especially that the RRP price of this particular blender is almost at $800. The blender itself works well, sometimes bits do get stuck and it takes quite a few attempts to resolve this issue. I have yet to try the machine with more heavy duty items like nuts etc, however, it works fine with soft fruit and liquids etc...

Does the job, but ...
Blender works quite efficiently, yes it is loud, but aren't they all?
The jug is a massive 2 litre capacity with a rather uneven surface to the sides. Whilst fine for smoothies and similar liquids which will pour out easily, we found that trying to use a spatular to get thick purees or dips out of the big container with so many surfaces was a bit of a pain. A small (say 750ml) jug with just four flat sides and no little indentations would be good for such tasks, but the smallest jug available for this model is 1.5 litre, which is a little disappointing.

I purchased this blender over 4 years ago and it's still going strong. Does a great job and simple to clean up. It's not great for small amounts (you probably need to do at least a cup of mixture) and sometimes I've had to add a little more liquid to get it blending. I haven't tried Vitamix etc so I don't know how it compares to them, but I know it's definitely much better than standard home blenders! I mostly do smoothies (with frozen fruits), nut creams, and soup veggies. The customer service from Froothie when I bought it was excellent - there had been a couple of issues but sorted out quickly and they more than made up for the inconvenience.
This is the best blender I have used so far!
Very satisfied with the powerful blending ability. Well-built and reliable every time I use it.
Cannot do without it for blending frozen fruits to make smoothies and making smooth pastes with chillies and capsicums for cooking. It is also much quieter compared to other generic machines.
Will definitely recommend it!
Wouldn't go without my blender, whips through frozen fruit and ice with ease, makes the smoothest smoothies, blends all veggies effortlessly, it doesn't like dates though, had trouble trying to munch them up, so a few at a time is ideal.
I've had mine for about 3.5 years, very reliable and easy to use and clean!
Would highly reccomend this product!

Hi, maybe this is silly question.
I wanted to buy this blender. But I just wondering if I'll be able to use it to blend meat?
I wanted to have blender but work for everything instead of having blender and food processor separate.

Optimum’s 9200A high-speed blender enjoys an impressive 4.9-star rating. With a decent number of domestic and commercial functions enabled by its powerful 2,611 watt motor, there seems to be little that the Optimum 9200A can't handle.
Functions of the Optimum 9200A:
- Crushes ice
- Blends whole fruits and vegetables
- Makes green smoothies
- Automatic blending options for 20, 30 or 45 seconds
- Grinds nuts and grains
- Makes nut butters and nut milks
- Built-in overload sensor
This is in addition to any regular blending tasks that less advanced blenders can perform.
Happy reviewers really liked that their Optimum 9200A blended smoothly with ‘nil chunky bits.’ This often involved blending smoothies, but also included smooth nut butters and flours.
