Some manufacturing faults
The blender came with some faults. The faults are cosmetic. The branding/logo on the unit is jagged and looks very unprofessional and the cable that attaches to the machine has a white substance on it that does not come off with light cleaning. I contacted Froothie, they were pleasant in their communication, but did take a very long time to respond and did not offer any compensation for the faults. In the end, I asked if they would compensate for the faults and all that was offered was a measly $20. Although the faults are only cosmetic and not...mechanical, I found these issues a nuisance. I invested a lot of money in an appliance that I expected to be of high quality in terms of both the aesthetics and mechanics. Optimum market themselves as a top-end, extremely high quality product. Sadly, on the aesthetics side, I am disappointed. Especially that the RRP price of this particular blender is almost at $800. The blender itself works well, sometimes bits do get stuck and it takes quite a few attempts to resolve this issue. I have yet to try the machine with more heavy duty items like nuts etc, however, it works fine with soft fruit and liquids etc...
Purchased in September 2019.

Hi, maybe this is silly question.
I wanted to buy this blender. But I just wondering if I'll be able to use it to blend meat?
I wanted to have blender but work for everything instead of having blender and food processor separate.

Optimum’s 9200A high-speed blender enjoys an impressive 4.9-star rating. With a decent number of domestic and commercial functions enabled by its powerful 2,611 watt motor, there seems to be little that the Optimum 9200A can't handle.
Functions of the Optimum 9200A:
- Crushes ice
- Blends whole fruits and vegetables
- Makes green smoothies
- Automatic blending options for 20, 30 or 45 seconds
- Grinds nuts and grains
- Makes nut butters and nut milks
- Built-in overload sensor
This is in addition to any regular blending tasks that less advanced blenders can perform.
Happy reviewers really liked that their Optimum 9200A blended smoothly with ‘nil chunky bits.’ This often involved blending smoothies, but also included smooth nut butters and flours.
