I was looking for blender to make flours and was choosing between Vitamix and Froothie decided to choose Australian blender and very happy with the choice. Also good customer service
Is there anything this machine CAN'T handle?
I purchased this blender from the Froothie website recently, when there was a sale on. My old Breville blender was on death's door after about 5-6 years of service & I had been tossing up between Optimum's 8200 model and the Omniblend V; but upon discovering this model for around half its normal RRP (which was about $100 cheaper than the Omniblend V), I jumped at the opportunity....and can honestly say that I don't regret it!
This is a powerful piece of equipment. So far I've put it to the test creating smoothies using frozen fruit (+ other bi...ts & pieces, like oats, chia seeds, almond milk, raw cacao powder etc), creating nut butter from unsalted peanuts & even whipping up nutty buckwheat pancake mix for breakfast. For the most part, my concoctions have come out well blended, BUT I will stress that this doesn't always occur. When it comes to my frozen smoothies, it has been a case of trial & error trying to get the right consistency (even when using the tamper tool - which I always use for my smoothies - I still find bits of frozen banana or strawberry in my drink occasionally) & timing (I now use the 20 second function as I like mine super cold. Any longer & I find that my smoothies lose the icy consistency due to the power of the machine heating up the contents). I also found a little bit of flour wasn't quite blended in with the aforementioned buckwheat pancake mix, but that sometimes happened even with my old and far less powerful Breville blender. When it comes to creating nut butter, man....I've NEVER eaten homemade peanut butter quite like it! It is creamy & smooth as silk. The only downside? Having to scrape it all out of the blender. Despite being given a slightly curved spatula with my blender (props to Froothie for that), I still found it difficult to scrape every last skerrick out from under the blades. I know you can disassemble the blender somehow, but I'd rather not do that as I know I probably wouldn't be able to re-assemble the damn thing! I've also had a slight issue putting the lid on sometimes as it is an uneven kind of shape, so it's for these reasons that I can only give 4 stars instead of 5. (Also want to mention 2 more things: 1. The blender jug & lid are easy enough to clean, provided you do it straight after use and 2. Despite its power, it's not as loud as I initially feared.) Given how often I use the blender (at least twice a week, if not more), this beauty now has pride of place on my kitchen bench, relegating a largely unused juicer to the kitchen cupboard. The black version that I purchased also looks rather sleek. Despite my small qualms, overall I'd highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a top quality blender without an eye-gouging price tag.
Purchased in March 2020 at Froothie for $398.00.

Hi, maybe this is silly question.
I wanted to buy this blender. But I just wondering if I'll be able to use it to blend meat?
I wanted to have blender but work for everything instead of having blender and food processor separate.

Optimum’s 9200A high-speed blender enjoys an impressive 4.9-star rating. With a decent number of domestic and commercial functions enabled by its powerful 2,611 watt motor, there seems to be little that the Optimum 9200A can't handle.
Functions of the Optimum 9200A:
- Crushes ice
- Blends whole fruits and vegetables
- Makes green smoothies
- Automatic blending options for 20, 30 or 45 seconds
- Grinds nuts and grains
- Makes nut butters and nut milks
- Built-in overload sensor
This is in addition to any regular blending tasks that less advanced blenders can perform.
Happy reviewers really liked that their Optimum 9200A blended smoothly with ‘nil chunky bits.’ This often involved blending smoothies, but also included smooth nut butters and flours.
