My cat loves it
My cat suffers from urinary issues and she is also a long haired cat, combine the 2 and she was suffering frequent urinary issues, that was not only worrying for me but very uncomfortable for my poor girl. All the vet visits couldn’t determine what was wrong, spending hundreds of dollars for tests to be told she was ok, they were stumped as to why she kept having so many flare ups until I decided to do my own research and to also switch to Optimum Furball. I then emailed a pet food stockist in America so I could obtain an all natural urinary tr...
Read moreact supplement as we don’t stock any supplements for such issues, this was my last hope to assist her for the next flare up. They, of course, asked me questions as to why I was purchasing this item and to my surprise I found out my cat may be allergic to fish based products. I cut out all fish from her diet, hardly any flare ups and to my surprise the all natural supplement combined with Optimum Furball eased her symptoms. I tried a vet brand kibble, even expensive brands only to see my poor kitty cat still suffer once again. Optimum Furball assists with urinary tract health and furballs, now to be honest this isn’t really that expensive when it comes to dry cat food, I have switched to expensive brands thinking I was doing the right thing for my cat, it had all the good ingredients stated on the package but my cat ended up refusing to eat them and they claim to help with the issues such as urinary and furball but the ones I wanted where only sold separately. I needed the combination of both and when I did find one it was close to $50 a bag only to make her very sick, she ended up refusing to eat them and I was back to square one Optimum is amazing, after slowly integrating it into her diet, I was seeing improvements in her health. For $20 you are getting an amazing formula specifically designed to do what it claims and my cat is now back to her old self again. I won’t switch to another brand as my cat is happy and healthy. She does have the occasional urinary problem but I know how to assist her and help when she has these flare ups, I wish Australia had the option of all natural supplements as I can only get them from overseas, the reason I purchase natural supplements is I refuse to give my cat Metacam every time she has flare ups, it’s a dangerous inflammatory if used on a regular basis and I heard too many horror stories from pet owners from Metacam I understand not all pet foods agree with our pets and it’s trial an error when trying to buy the right foods but I highly recommend Optimum, it’s basically saved my cat for all the suffering she has endured throughout the yearsPurchased at Woolworths for $20.

We buy nothing else for our
We started using Optimum Furball about 3 years ago when our cat was regurgitating all the time. Had tried canned food, fresh food etc. but it wasn't until we tried Optimum Furball that we had any success. We use a food dispenser which took about a week for the cat to realise that food was there whenever she was hungry. The only downside is that ALDI don't sell Optimum Cat food anymore. It's a matter of looking around for best price.

Great product
After feeding this, my cat haven't coughed up hairballs. I guess this really works. Additionally she really loves the taste of it and doesn't seem to mind eating it everyday.
It's on the expensive side, but better than cleaning up the mess every few days.

Buying More
Hi i have had a very sickly little cat. None of the biscuits I brought would stay down for very long always a daily clean up. I have spent a fortune on vet fees trying to help her and tried her on different foods etc. Then I spotted this very small packet at Aldi. Optimum furball biscuits. To my surprise she hasn't been sick in over a week now. Finally i can stop cleaning as much, Worrying as much and my little puss is much happier..

Update on earlier review
I would like to ad to my review. Mars Petcare took the optimum cat fur ball product and tested it for contamination and then kindly wrote to me to advise my cat may have a sensitive digestive system and the food should have been added slowly to her diet. Mars also refunded the cost of the product. Very happy with the way it was handled. Lyn

Purr....fect
My cat used to vomit lots when trying to get rid of a furball , now the furball is just that... a furball , no more vomiting lots of food.
He also loves it, is like having special treats every day.
I recommend this, and very often you can find it on special at the supermarkets.

does the trick!
my cat was overgrooming and puking fur at least 2-3 times a week. since we started her on furball food she stopped pretty much alltogether! we bought a big bag because we dont live near any stores and being human i feel bad for giving her the same flavour for months on end. she doesnt seem to mind though. i now also have a big bag of purina supercoat which comes in salmon flavour, so i can alternate a bit. very affordable too, around $20 for a 3 kilo bag
cat likes it, stops the furballs
