After juicing, there is a residue in the plastic component of the sieve that will not wash out. What is the best to clean this part to remove the watery residue?

Hello Sean, Have you tried to soak it?

Sean

Yes, but the residue remains

Have you tried with warm water? Another helpful idea might be the brush that comes with the appliance.

I am looking to buy a cold press juicer that will also juice herbs like cilantro, mint and parsley leafy greens like kale, broccoli leaves, dandelion leaves as well as celery, carrots, beetroot, and apples and whole lemons. Could you please advice which would be the best to do these things while maintaining maximum nutrition. Thank you.

Optimum Appliances
Optimum Appliances   DM

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry about finding the ideal cold press juicer. It's important to note that while our juicers are quite capable, none of them are suitable for juicing whole lemons. The peel needs to be removed before juicing to avoid bitterness and ensure smooth operation.

For juicing herbs like cilantro, mint, and parsley, these can be processed in our juicers, but it’s best to juice them along with other fruits or vegetables. Juicing herbs alone won’t yield much juice, but when combined, the flavors of the herbs will infuse nicely with the other ingredients.

Based on your needs, I would recommend our H3000 model. It excels at juicing celery, apples, beetroot, and carrots efficiently while preserving maximum nutrition. Its slow, powerful masticating action ensures that the juice retains most of the vitamins, enzymes, and minerals from the produce.

This model is also quite effective with leafy greens, so it should handle kale, broccoli leaves, and dandelion leaves well. For the best results with leafy greens and herbs, it helps to pack them tightly between harder chunks of fruits or vegetables or roll them up before juicing.

I hope this helps you find the perfect juicer for your needs! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Happy juicing!

Best regards,

Yes celery and carrot juice no problems just make sure you cut the fruit or vegetables in small portions so you don't get it blocked up.

Optimum Appliances

That is a great advice. Yes, you can also cut the ingredients into small pieces.

I am interested in the Optimum H3000 2nd gen, but a bit that I do not really understand the difference between the Ex Demo and the ordinary one. Thank you.

Optimum Appliances
Optimum Appliances   DM

Hi Thanh, Thanks a lot for reaching out. The difference between the demo and the original one is that the demo units were minimally used at seminars or for demonstrations by our team.
Each unit has only been used a handful of times, washed and repackaged.

While the original units are new and not used.

Hope this explains and do not hesitate to ask more questions if any.

Happy shopping,
Froothie team.

May I know the where is it manufactured? Also how tedious is the cleaning of it? Especially with celery. Also if we juice 2 kg of carrot will it be difficult? i.e. we juice a large quantity at a time try to avoid the regular cleaning and clearing.

Optimum Appliances
Optimum Appliances   DM

Hello Adeline, The Optimum H3000 is manufactured in China like many other brands in the industry.

However, we would also like to add that we have all the certifications and perform quality control on all shipments.

The cleaning shouldn't take that long as it only contains a few parts that have to be cleaned. However, when juicing fibrous ingredients it might take a little longer.

Furthermore, we recommend being careful with juicing big quantities to not overheat the appliance. The juicing time of this appliance without break is 20 minutes. To increase the lifespan of the appliance, always allow time for the motor of the appliance to cool down in between 20—30 minute intervals of juicing.

We hope this answers your questions and do not hesitate to reach out if further assistance is required.

Happy weekend,
Froothie team

I have a 2nd Gen H3000.
What's the heater for?
There is nothing in the user guide regarding it's use.
So how are consumers to know what it's for?

Well it says nothing about that in the manual.
I also asked about the gunk behind the steel ring in the juice outlet and would like an answer since it is an important question given it seemingly cannot be cleaned allowing germs to build in the rotting residue left behind the ring.
TIA

Hi. I was wondering if this model will also juice sugarcane when juicing fruits and vegetables? (Home use only for home grown sugarcane)

Joe
Joe

Sorry Dav I never used sugarcane. Joe

Optimum Appliances
Optimum Appliances   DM

Hello Dav, You should definitely be able to juice sugar cane.
Here are some great juicing tips to ensure you can achieve the best results:
* Cut ingredients into smaller pieces for easier juicing. Ensure to peel and pit ingredients with thick skin, hard shell, a core or hard seed to avoid damage or injury
* When juicing grasses, feed the Optimum Juicer a small amount of grass at a time, cutting the grass into short pieces approximately 3cm long. This ensures the waste can easily come out of the waste chute. You do not need to "clump" the grass into a ball. In fact, you can slowly feed small strands of grass, coriander, parsley, kale, spinach, and other leafy greens without any force necessary.
* DO NOT press, push or shove ingredients forcibly into your Slow Juicer. Instead, simply allow your ingredients to fall into the feeding chute. The juicing screw does all the work for you. Virtually no force is necessary
* Do not squeeze lemon juice directly into the appliance
* Juice low-fiber plants first and high-fiber plants last. When juicing fibrous ingredients, a great tip for large, leafy, stringy, or dense vegetables is to feed them to the feeding chute gently, allowing the juicing screw to pull the ingredients into the appliance, using the pusher gently, only if required.

Alternate between juicier and more fibrous fruits and vegetables:
It is best to alternate between the juicier and more fibrous fruits and vegetables. For example, you can alternate between juicier ingredients like apples, carrots, cucumber, and citrus fruits and more fibrous ingredients like greens such as kale and spinach, celery, and wheatgrass. We also suggest saving carrots for last, as this helps push out the last of the pulp.

Hope this helps :)
Have a Froothielicious day
Alex

Is there a video available to show the set up for sorbet fitting & what has to be done. Sadly no instructions in box & other instructions offer very little help. If no instruction book you need better videos I have used a juicer before but for someone uninitiated would struggle. Just a suggestion. I am loving juicer so far but video was talking about pulp control which my model does not have.

Will the enzymatic effects of the juice affects the material of the bottle though it's vacuum packed?

Optimum Appliances
Optimum Appliances   DM

Hello Joy, The Optimum H3000 2nd Gen comes with a specialty BPA free portable vacuum cup that works in sync with the vacuum function. This allows you to store extra juice and remove all remaining air in the cup in order to reduce oxidation and preserve your juice for longer. Say goodbye to murky brown juice, and hello to fresh, vibrant juice that lasts for up to 2 days.
Hope this helps :)

I own a Hurom slow juicer and regularly juice carrot and celery juice. Even with the carrots quartered length wise and the celery finely chopped, the bowl and the strainer regularly break (both crack at the base) - I have replaced both items at least three times now at great expense.
Does this juicer use the same type of flimsy, brittle plastic as the Hurom for its components?
