straightforward to assemble. It is a great balance of softness and firmness and i have been finding that I am waking up a lot less during the night as I am not tossing and turning anywhere near as much. I also got 2 superior coolmax pillows and being in Brissy thats a gamechanger. It also is nice to have a good quality pillow rather than some cheap versions of the past. I can tell this will last for a long time.

I also love that you can choose your firmness level! We flipped the insert for firm, and the support is unreal without feeling hard at all, it still feels soft. It’s comfortable, supportive, and feels luxurious.

recurrence. It is easiest mattress so far that has let me spread over bed through the night without having to climb out of a depression. I’ve had many mattresses over the years and all have been fine for several months, but inevitably developed a dip that turned into a hammock. So too soon to judge this one but early days are promising.
Follow-up · 2 months on and no hammock effects yet, but need another few months to be sure. Firmness still good. Edge support is middling - a few box mattresses are better, most are worse. Partner disturbance is mild, but last 2 box mattresses had zero disturbance, (‘though they failed on other measures). Rating remains 4 stars.

I was initially concerned due to unreliable delivery tracking. However, after receiving the mattress, it has been very comfortable so far. This has evetything I wanted and it lived up to it hype. Inner springs, layers of supportive foams and padding. But the icing on the cake is that the top layer of the matress removes, so you can turn it around or upside down, without having to deal with the full matress weight, and it has a removable zip off cover which can be tossed into the machine to wash. The mattress itself is very comfortable and we have decided to keep it. The only disappointment was a quality control issue on some stitching but they have agreed to replace the cover of the mattress under warranty. Show details · 1
Follow-up · On December 17, the customer service team confirmed that the replacement cover would be sent. It is now January 18 and there is no sign of the replacement cover.

I love my new King Origin Hybrid Mattress, I didn't expect it to be as comfortable as it is. My partner and I have very active jobs so the adjustable firmness is great when our body's are feeling extra sore or tired from a big day of exercise. Origin Mattress Disgrace Where do I start. Our first order from Origin was smooth. Only took a week and we were sleeping on a very comfortable king mattress. It was an easy decision to order another one for our spare bed so I went ahead and placed an order. 2 weeks later with no delivery or communication I initiated a web chat (you cannot call… Read more
direct) and was told to send an email. Within a day I received delivery advice and within a few days the delivery was made. This is where the sh*tstorm began. Only 2 boxes were delivered and confirmed by the drivers who took a photo and said we have to follow up with Origin. What came was the mattress and free pillow. What was missing was the reversible topper that essentially makes the bed sleep-able. What was very strange was that the delivery stickers were hand written and stuck over someone else’s boxes. I sent them an email the very next day. That was over 3 weeks ago. They said they understood my frustration and blah blah and have pretty much said it is on the way. They even offered a discount off the price paid. I didn’t accept as we still cannot use the mattress. I have threatened negative comments and more and still nothing. Most messages are replied to several days later and nothing ever comes from them first. They would have to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I was lucky to get the delivery company’s number early on and at least I can call and talk with someone and they have been very helpful. Origin has also accused them of losing the missing box but they emphatically deny that saying they were only ever given 2 boxes. I have now asked for a refund twice and have not received any reply. So take the money back guarantee as a sham which is fraudulent as far as I'm concerned. I assume they are now going silent. I will be leaving as many negative reviews until I get answers and will be using the Office of Fair Trading in QLD and also the ACCC to launch an investigation into this appalling company. They have basically sold me a car without wheels. It is useless in its current form. I would strongly caution against ordering anything from this shambolic company as it has led to much frustration for us. I will also probably let A Current Affair know as they love tracking down wrong doing companies. I am betting they do this to 10 percent of customers and most people let it go as you can’t call them. And now they just stop communicating altogether. I will not let this rest and they will wish they didn’t choose me to f*&k over. Shame on you Origin for misleading and for fraud. I hope you get exposed for the disgrace of a company you are. I will never purchase anything from you again and will scream it from the mountains to anyone who will listen.

I’m just reviewing the mattress here, hence the 5⭐️, but I’d like to say that the the customer service system could do with a bit of a review and improvement… you can only contact them via the chat, even when specifically requesting to talk/email to someone, and all they do is forward your requests to the appropriate department. Not a biggie but this could really be improved!

given away our old mattresses in preparation for the new so by Oct 27th when we had received nothing, I contacted customer service who replied (after 24 hours) "Thank you for reaching out to us. Your order is currently on pre-order, with the next shipment for Hybrid Plus - Queen and King size scheduled to arrive in mid-November. Once your order has been dispatched, our shipping partner will be in touch with the delivery details, including a tracking link, so you can easily follow its progress. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or need additional assistance."
We heard absolutely nothing further until Nov 15th when we received a barrage or delivery notifications saying that the mattresses had been picked up and were in 'en route' and would be delivered in a matter of hours!! Fortunately it was a Saturday and we could arrange to be there to meet the delivery team at short notice! The mattresses themselves are literally a dream. Easy to set up, very supportive and extremely comfortable. We have now enjoyed 2 nights sleep on them and have no regrets over the purchase despite the lack of communication and delay in delivery.

husband had probably one of the best sleeps he's had in awhile, it took me a little to fall asleep as my old mattress was very firm but the sleep itself was good and I didn't want to get up. So far so good!

firm side is about 6.5-7/10. I’ve tried some extra firm ones in Myer and this is definitely on the softer end compared to those. But plenty of support and it’s good for me (77kg). The softer side is about 6/10 firmness so not very big difference but the level of support remains the same, which is reasonable given how the firmness is adjusted, i.e. by flipping the mattress topper. I had back issue due to sport, I think it has improved, but I wasn’t expecting some magical panacea anyway. The sleeping quality seems to have improved too. Overall I am happy every time I lie on it. So what can I say. I haven’t been using it for long, but the quality seems to be good. Good edge support as well.
Delivery: I ordered the mattress on Thursday and the mattress was delivered the following Wednesday. The mattress was delivered in a box but it is pretty heavy. The delivery guy delivered the mattress to my apartment. No fuss.
Price: the price is cheaper compared to Ecosa or Emma. Haven’t tried these but i am content with mine. They seems to be always having the “flash sale”, but the price do change sometimes. Sometimes it include some gifts but the price seems to increase to reflect that. If you use those saleback websites you can get another few percent off. The ability to use afterpay is a plus.
Atrocious customer service. Customers cannot contact the delivery team for a delivery date or to book a preferred date. Despite living in a metro area where delivery is offered within a few days of ordering, I’m still waiting on a mattress. mattress was delivered earlier than I expected but that’s a lot better than being late. (Only issue was that delivery person delivered it to the house next door in error which was a challenge for this 69 year old woman as it is 41klg.). All in all I’m very happy so far.
