Got there in the end!
I originally bought a bag, which flipped open and tipped forward, resulted in everything falling out, each time I used it. I called to find out how to get a refund... but was told the bag would only be accepted for a full refund if in new, wrapped and unused condition. I explained that I couldn’t possibly know the bag would flip open on use, if I hadn’t used it. After much arguing, I asked for a Manager. The bag was finally refunded in full, and I then found they’d come out with a similar one - but which works perfectly... so I bought that one instead. Didn’t need the hassle, Oroton. Your products are great, but your customer care? Not so much!
Products are not well made
In the past two years two products I have purchased from Oroton were defective after 9 months use. A leather makeup case which is gorgeous the zipper broke within the first year. Oroton sourced out another one and exchanged it. Traveled around the word with the second replacement and after 6 months the zipper broke again. They didn't sell this make up case anymore and offered to give me a credit note, I didn't want a credit note because I loved the case so much. I found a very reputable bag repair company and they sourced out a brand new zipp...er and replaced it, it cost me $100 as it needed to be hand sewed. Their umbrella the large one with a wooden handle only used twice broke after trying to pull it down. It dis-attached from the top hence not being able to close again they don't stock the pretty cool pink colour anymore. Very disappointing. When their products were made in Australia they were very high quality unfortunately they are not made like that today. I gave Oroton another chance after having issues with their merchandise in the 2000's but yet again an epic fail.

Hi I’ve stored my bag in the Oroton dust bag. I went to use it and found that the bag is stuck to the dust bag I tried to get it out but my bag is all damaged. I had to peel the dust bag off it and it tore to shreds. What should I do? Can this be fixed?
I was given a beautiful Oroton umbrella for a gift and therefore no receipt
The umbrella won’t stay open and the stem won’t extend
