No customer support - Did not care - Do not recommend
After three conversations with Oroton and 2 weeks still waiting for my order to arrive. I thought if I ordered well ahead of birthdays I would have the products in time. I was just told garbage by Oroton Staff to make me happy. One promised the items would be sent out 5 business day after I ordered them.. Well It was over 5 business days, The next said they would be posted Monday as they knew I needed them for gifts... They were not posted and no one cared. Customer support and service is a ZERO. Has turned me off ever placing orders with them again. Good way to reduce sales... NO CARE - Do not recommend
Oroton Customer Service
I love my Oroton products. I have so many bags! But, l wanted a bag to match other bags as a set ie: The Ella Weekender in black. No one on the GC had it. Only Liverpool and one other store in NSW. I offered to pay over the phone, l offered to pay at my local Oroton store but no one would take my order or payment saying "we just don't do that". So losing a sale and not accepting a payment over the phone seems crazy. Also, every single day an ad came up on my phone to purchase the Ella Weekender. And each time l tried, of course it was out of s...tock. Every day!!! I have screenshots to prove this. I went into the Robina Oroton store and they told me they do not carry that bag or any other bags from the DFO stores. All DFO stores only have bags made especially for those stores. Which in itself was pretty disappointing to know, as l'm sure everyone thinks they are getting a great deal when in fact they are a cheaper version of the Oroton product. Unless of course this is incorrect? FYI l was asked to complete this review. Thank you
Avery tan oroton cross body bag
My Avery bag was purchased on the 9th of may 2021 the buckle on the bag and only the buckle has black wear marks as if the tan has worn off I took the bag in store the assistant said colour transfer very unhelpful so I contacted oroton online twice quick response but they are not prepared to do anything my bag is leather protected and as I said only the buckle was clever enough to get colour transfer.obviously their bags only last months stay away zero care factor from the company.
Oroton increase the price and then claim “further 20% off”
Oroton sneakily increase their “sale” prices and then claim “further 20% off”. I had my eye on a bag and when I saw they were offering a further 20% off I jumped online to snap it up only to find that the sale price it was previously advertised for was increased so even after the further 20% reduction, it was still dearer than the previous sale price. They should not be allowed to make claims that they are reducing by a further 20% if they go and change all their prices first. They are the only retailer that I have noticed that engage in misleading practices like this.
I bought this bag approx 4 years ago and have stored it correctly and have used it approx 5 times. The base of the bag has detached on one end and looks to me like bad workmanship. I have emailed customer care and they have advised that’s it too old to do anything !!!
I bought a Melanie style handbag . Admittedly it is about 4 years old , but very lightly used and the stitching has come away, near the base of the bag I went back to the store and was virtually told " bad luck " . This is not good enough . The bag cost Aus $495 .

Wear and tear....really?
I purchased a medium sized handbag. There were three sizes available in the style I liked, however they all had the same sized shoulder strap and same sized hardware attached to the bag to hook the strap to. Obviously, the medium and large were greater in capacity so required different, larger hardware and larger straps and I did notice the anomaly at the time of purchase but because I liked the style, I bought it anyway. I had the bag for 3 years and only used it, at most, a dozen times because fortunately I have other bags to use. In any eve...nt, I never overloaded the bag, but the hardware pulled out of the bag's sides. On referring the matter to Customer Service, I was told "wear and tear" because I had bought it 3 years before. In fact, it had received very little "wear and tear". Such a poor response to a genuine fault issue with the manufacture. I was not requested to bring the bag into a store for assessment. Nevermind, I got the hardware replaced and a new strap at my own cost. Strap looks so much better than the original one. Incidentally, the bag repairer I used, confirmed the issue to be a manufacturer fault. Disappointed with Oroton's "brush-off". No longer support Oroton.
Poor quality and terrible customer service
A few years ago I bought a bag at Oroton, I just graduated uni and wanted to celebrate. I walked in very excited and went straight to the discounted section (as I did just start my new job, so wasn’t loaded). I liked one that was out of my reach and went up to the counter to ask for help. The retail assistant walked straight past me and asked this old guy (who clearly had money) if he needed help. He pointed to me and said ‘she was before me’, with no apology she asked me what she could do for me. I said I would like the one on the top shelf an...d she got it down and I bought and paid for it (even on discount it was still $550). When the retail assistant asked for my name, she laughed at my last name saying ‘that’s funny’. I have never encountered such a rude person before in my life, which resulted in me never buying anything from Oroton ever again. I am so glad I didn’t because today my bag just broke out of nowhere. I have bought two bags from Micheal Kors, one was 7 years ago, and they still look brand new. Would never recommend this brand.
Worst product and even worse cs
The brand has the worst customer service. Save your money for a bigger brand instead if you’re going for luxury. I ordered a bag and I was extremely disappointed in the quality. The handle and the logo suggested that bag has been used and then sold to me as new!
My Oroton bag. Leather peeling off. Crack all over in the bag.
I bought the office leather bag. Only used 5 times. I stored in my linen cabinet. No sunlight and cover in the Oroton store bag. Recently talk it out to use it again for my meeting. Found out the bag is cracked and leather is peeling off. Disappointed as the bag was over $500.
Return policy is flawed
Oroton does not give refund on any non-full price items which I believe it is not compliant to the ACL. Their products are not cheap even on sale. Sometimes online shopping comes with a few surprises (e.g. not what you imagine), and in-store shopping is not always a possible option for many people. I do not need a store credit, I need the right product. Now I just have 200 odd dollars at Oroton's account without having a suitable product.

Can my oroton handbag from about 20 years ago (havent been used!) be wiped/applied with leather oil that is used by leather repair shops? Is it ok to first wash the bag with soap and water?
Hi I’ve stored my bag in the Oroton dust bag. I went to use it and found that the bag is stuck to the dust bag I tried to get it out but my bag is all damaged. I had to peel the dust bag off it and it tore to shreds. What should I do? Can this be fixed?
