Worst online order experience
Shocking service!2 months after ordering I send an email, no reply, a week later I call them, explain its been 2 months and [Content Removed].
Strangely they just so happen to "get it in stock" the very next day and said it'll be posted.
4 days pass and I get the shipping email.
It's been 2 extra weeks and I still don't have it.
We're coming up on 3 months from order date and I still don't have it.
Express postage is a rort
They are more than happy to take additional money for “express postage” but then take a week and a half to bother even posting it in the first place. Don’t usually leave bad reviews but am extremely angry and won’t be using them againDodgy Company
They use a courier that unless you live next door to them, you will never recieve it.. This Company sends the goods by Aramex and once sent, the wash their hands of it all and if you don't get your item, it's stiff crap for you.No back up service

Have ordered on a number of separate times and have constantly been told items are back ordered, after paying for the goods. Have waited months and months for items. Service and support is horrible and am left waiting for any answer on orders.Have been sent someone else's order and had to personally return it to their dispatch warehouse and then they couldn't locate my items.

Ordered a Privacy Screen and a curved Rafter for awning on 14/12/23 still waiting . Being told lies that it was going to be done early January. But now have been informed late February. I tried to buy and item that was advertised on sale on google but every time you would click through to the cart it would revert back to the full price. I purchased parts for my caravan on 7 December 2023 they advised me to go with express postage so I get them within 2 days and get them before Christmas. did not recieve them before Christmas I had to go out and buy the parts elsewhere.Contacted them and asked for a refund as my parcel has not arrived.
Was told we can’t refund ur money cause we don’t know where the package is and need to follow it up.
I waited a week no reply called them again same think sorry but we’re not refunding ur money untill we get the package back.

Called out back equipment again they don’t know where the parcel is and says Australia post said it’s delayed so will be arriving soon. 28 days later no parcel still says delayed. Abhorrent Customer service And delivery times
Ordered my gear on 24/11/23. Told it was shipped 2 days later. Received tracking number and followed up with courier. Nothing since. The courier company doesn’t reply. Contacted outback equipment multiple times only to be told they havnt had a response from their courier. I have to now go and buy the gear from somewhere else as I leave on my trip in 2 days. As I said, your courier service is a reflection of your business. At the same time I ordered items from Dunn and Watson and that arrived on Friday 17. Should have ordered everything from them.
Poor after sale customer service
We purchased a caravan air-con through Outback Equipment. It never worked from the start which is probably not their fault, but it has taken over 6 months to get this resolved, but unfortunately no thanks to Outback equipment. We contacted Dometic directly and they were fabulous. Organised a mobile RV appliance service to fit it, all done and working and it took them less than a week to get it sorted. Big thank you to both Dometic and Goldy’s RV APPLIANCE SERVICE on the Gold Coast. Outback Equipment need to have a good look at their after sales service along with returning calls to dissatisfied customers to at least let them know you are trying to resolve their problems.Serious bugs with online checkout
I was Unable to checkout with over $600 worth of goods, due to a bug with the checkout system. The system keeps on asking to complete missing fields that don't appear as an option for free shipping. Therefore making checking out impossible. I spent over two hours trying to checkout, and in the end had to take part of my business elsewhere. Show detailsSeaflo RV water pump
BUYER BEWARE. Purchased a Seaflo RV water pump and it lasted 5 months. Now I google that pump it has a reputation for the pressure switch failing which appears to be the problem.They want to replace the switch, rather than refunding my money so that is a 5 month fix until the warranty expires. These pumps are obviously Chinese Junk and I might get another 5 months from the pump compared to the 15yrs from the previous pump.

Don’t waste your time shop elsewhere
Ordered 3 items off there website paid on the 23/9 two weeks passed nothing posted and no contact. I had to email and ask why my items havnt been posted. Received a reply that 2 of my items weren’t in stock. Even though they didn’t show this on there site. I was told one of my items wouldn’t arrive at there warehouse until the 23/11. Poor effort outback equipment. Don’t have things on your website if you don’t even have them in stock. I did receive a refund but if I didn’t contact I would of been left in the dark for what over 2 months? I needed these items before I left on a trip now I’m left with no time to reorder items elsewhere. Shop elsewhere.Poor customer service
I tried to contact them they replied 7 days later.The prices fluctuates like yo-yo on their website.
I bought a thing today and tomorrow the price is 17$ down other day 25$ down.
I don’t know how the things work there, I asked for price difference as it’s down before I got the delivery, they denied and no mail regarding the delivery when it’s coming when it will gonna leave the warehouse from them. Poor company, poor quality , poor customer support. Show details
