Jakob was super helpful. TOLL held up the delivery for some reason. Jakob tried contacting them a few times without success.
Warranty Claim on defective Caravan Cover
Excellent service provided by Jakob, photos sent showed defect and there was no issue in replacing the cover. I found the whole process very easy to complete. Excellent company to deal with and I will recommend them to other caravaners.

I have purchased other gear through Outback Equipment, but this is the first time I have had to deal with them about a fault. I purchased a Nemesis Wheel Clamp ($239) and other items on 30.12.20, in preparation for the camper trailer we ordered. We didn't take delivery of our camper until 29.01.21., so there was a few weeks in between when the gear was delivered and when we used it. The first time I went to use the wheel clamp on our camper, I found that the wheel clamp's bag had two big cuts in it. On inspection, I found that the box it ca...me in, had two corresponding cuts on it as well. I contacted Outback Equipment asking for a replacement bag and they requested photos, which I sent through. They told me they would contact the supplier and get back to me. A week later I'd heard nothing, so I contacted them asking for an update. Here is the update I received. Hi Brad, Thank you for contacting us! I have taken a look at all the information in regards to your order and the manufacturer has stated that unfortunately they do not supply replacement bags for the Wheel Clamp. I purchased an ARK XO Series Jockey Wheel from Outback Equipment. The price was competitive, the product was great quality and the service excellent. I bought it online on the Thursday evening and it was delivered to Melbourne early on Tuesday morning. In fact the company and its couriers got it here one day earlier than originally scheduled. Given my experience with other parcel deliveries this was excellent service from the team.

We had an issue with the product we purchased. I contacted Outback Equipment and the customer service team replied to my request for a replacement promptly. They got in touch with the supplier for me and kept briefed on their communication with the the supplier. And negotiated a replacement product.

Bought a chair from their website and the product arrived in good time and great condition. The chair is also great quality
Items shown as in stock, are not available
2 times I have had items which were shown as 'in stock' on the website, but then a few days later I get an email saying there are supply issues and there is a 30+ day delay. The reason I ordered from here was it was shown as in stock. Last time I shop with them, a blatant lie, saying items are in stock.
Worst online company to deal with
Purchased a bull bar from ebay, the following day it was marked send, then received a email few days later stating it was out of stock until nearly a month later, tried to cancel but couldn’t because it was already marked sent, when finally arrived organized to send back the following day, and a ebay case was opened and they lied about me not sending it back intime so they didn’t have to refund, very disappointing service
Delivery still not received
Purchased Dometic cooler box on 19/11/20 to my knowledge it was in stock, after 7 days no tracking received. On 1/12/20 received tracking number from Outback but no knowledge of parcel by Australia Post. Now 7/12/20 no update to tracking, parcel has not moved nobody knows where it is and the company doesn’t care. Very little correspondence no attempt to look into it and their last message said “I apologise for delay, Have a merry Christmas” it just shows their level of customer service. It was needed for a holiday today.

Hilux ultimate9 throttle controller
Thought I’d take time to write a review - don’t normally bother.
Ordered an ultimate9 TC from these guys, $70 cheaper than others. $229.
Order arrived within 5 days of purchase.
Can’t complain at all- have got a bit Of stuff online recently and this delivery was very quick in comparison and in the scheme of australin deliveries especially with covid factor.
So far pretty stoked, will see how the U9 TC goes.

Classic stitch up
Ordered a roof rack that was claimed to be in stock but actually wasn’t. Company ESTIMATES that the products will be shipped either the middle or end of the month but no guarantee? How good is spending over 1k on products that you’ve got to wait around and HOPE they show up by the end of the month. Poor effort, could have easily been solved with an OUT OF STOCK sign or PRE ORDER. Definitely won’t be buying from this dodgy company again
Misleading advertising and no responsibility
Purchaser a towbar for specific vehicle, turned up in three main pieces that required welding, no instructions with many small pieces, no mention of this in advert, showed picture of fully welded towbar, customer service just said too bad, will never show with them again.

Great Service delivered within days
We ordered a 12 volt fan from these people, I placed the order before I checked the reviews on here and heard they were classed as a little dodgy was a little sceptical of everything getting my goods. To my surprise they were awesome and don’t deserve the reviews they got. We got our fan within a week and that’s regional Queensland it was delivered as per tracking and in perfect condition. Very happy will buy from again and recommend to friends

Horrible customer service
Won't stand by their products. Had a charger die pretty quick. Dropped to them over 4 weeks ago and still no refund. Cant even get a return phone call. Avoid like the plague
Absolutely Pathetic, Ripped off with no goods and money not refunded
This company took my money for 2 items which they told me were in stock and over $150. Ten days later still nothing from one suburb to another in Brisbane. After countless unanswered phone calls and contacts, I was eventually informed there is no stock and I will not get a refund I have to wait another 2 weeks for the items to come. If I want a refund I have to go through due process, which does not work on the first 4 attempts. Still no refund and they do not answer the phone. DO NOT HAND OVER MONEY until you see the goods in front of you. and they are still advertising they have the same items in stock with no respect for Australian Law.
Shocking service, no communication
Shocking service, no communication, I mistakenly ordered 2 of the same items, my fault I know. I emailed 3 times, the first stright away and again the following day, that's just about a week ago and still no reply or any sort of contact. It will be my last dealing with this shop

Purchased a Thunder DC-DC 40 amp charger, as with this CV19 a lot of stocks are low and out when it comes to these products, i purchased it, i placed an incorrect email address which ment the order was not receipted, the customer service person went out of his way getting this unt to me after calling to let me know the order hadn't been receipted, they expressed it from WA got it within 5 days and they refunded the express postage. great effort cheers
Low quality product for premium price + zero costumer service => AVOID
Bought a set of floor mats for a Mazda CX7 for $90. After a couple of weeks they arrived, but to my shock , despite the premium price, they are low quality mats, similar to cheap reject shop ones. They are the correct shape, but flimsy and impossible to fix in the car. They come with two cheap plastic screws (for two mats with two holes each...), which the instructions say have to be screwed in to the existing floor covering. This is not possible, it doesn't work: you hit the metal body work straight away. So the mats just roll up under the ped...als, just like the cheap reject shop ones. They send out an email after your purchase asking you to provide feedback, and if you do, they ignore it. You send an email, they ignore it, you contact via their website: they ignore it. Avoid this mob like the plague.
Purchased Tag towbar kit for SXV20R Camry. Very easy to install. The only tricky part was removing and refitting the tailpipe exhaust rubber hanger. Delivery was very quick considering the distance and the product was well packaged to protect it. Product and shipment costs were very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Hate giving bad reviews, but I feel this company deserves it, as the core values need to change back to customer service focused.
I was miss sold into a product I didn't need after discussing at leaght with the sales team, the installation team didn't install the product as it was not required, as I originally said. To make matter worse the sales team still charged me for the part, plus another part that never went on the car and labour for the two parts never fitted. Very immoral behaviour!
My wheels alignment after the lift is shocking, and...they just left my wheel covers in the car, couldn't be bothered putting them back on. All and all a shocking display, until they change their values I'd avoid this company. 1/10 service 1/10 quality.
worst online shopping experience I have ever had
I purchased some bash plates for my MUX on the 26th of May. I had no further contact until I called on the 2nd of June to inquire about the status of my order and I was informed they only had 2 of the 3 plates in stock and they were waiting for the 3rd to arrive at the end of the week before shipping my order. Low and behold the end of the week came and went with no contact or update so I messaged them through their contact us section on the website. On the 10th of June I then received an email stating my order had been shipped with tracking. I...t arrived on the 15th of June but only contained 2 of the 3 bash plates so another phone call later I was informed that the plate was on back order and I would receive a phone call or email by the end of the day to give me an ETA. I have received no further contact from them since this phone call despite multiple emails through the contact us section on their web site, I have even raised a dispute on the 17th of June in their accounts section but this has not been replied to either. The plate I am waiting for is still listed as in stock on their website! Avoid this mob like the plague zero communication or care once they have your money.

This seller advertises products available online that they don't even have in stock. No notification that there will be a delay on my order. No shipping confirmation or update email within their specified dispatch timeframe. Emailed an enquiry to make sure order hadn't been overlooked - no response. Followed up by a phone call, guy was nice enough, told it would ship within a few days. No updates. Emailed another enquiry - no response. Followed up again with a phone call - this time with the most unhelpful & uncaring sales assistant [Name Remov...ed]. Couldn't give me any helpful information so I requested a refund, [Name Removed] really didn't seem to know what was going on, and he didn't seem to care either. I've since raised a dispute through PayPal as after that conversation, I have zero faith that my refund will be processed. Absolutely appalling customer service, what a headache. Shop elsewhere.
