Annoyed and disappointed with their response
Ordered 2 x 2 seat couches in NOV 2021. Arrived and delivered in June, however during the period of waiting I moved from a unit to a house, so the 2 couches were far too small for the new area. I immediately asked OZ Design if I could swap 1 of the couches and order a 3 seat to replace it, as the furniture was to small for the new area, as per the pic, I didn't unwrap the couch, and it had been in my home for 1 day. I was told they were unable to take it back, as it was now deemed to be second hand. I asked why they couldn't deliver it to someo... Read morene who's waiting, and was told they all arrived with mine, and the store doesnt have any room to store it. Possible option to return to manufacturer, but OZ Design will take 30% to do that. So now I have a surplus couch, and have had to spend further to buy a 3 seat. To add salt to the wound when I rang the store to order the new one, it was pointed out to me that I already had that named couch. Was annoyed and very disappointed with the stores response, as I shop quite a bit at OZ Design, but am going to rethink that. When I told another OZ Design store what happened they said it shouldn't be a problem to swap, as its still wrapped and new.Regrets
The store and staff are great, the couches that I bought I am really disappointed in them. You really need to spend a day in store actually sitting on the couch as you would at home. The fabric is like sandpaper and months later is hasn’t softened. Don’t be afraid to sit on the couch in store as you would at home! Show detailsPoor quality mango range of furniture
The table surface is highly scratched. It was either like this when delivered, or occurred after a wipe down with a damp cotton tea towel immediately after delivery. Either way, it's a poor quality product that was either damaged before delivery or can't cope with the mildest form of cleaning.Good products, delivery delays & hassles
We spent a large sum on a dining suite and lounge suite. At the time of the sale we were advised that the items would be available for delivery in 3-5 weeks. Actual delivery was 8 weeks and only after many phone calls to chase them. When finally delivered I had to use a hammer to bend the leg bracket into shape to be able to bolt the legs to the top. Our initial thoughts were absolutely awesome, couldn't fault anything! Products and service were great!Then we had a challenge with our delivery and organising it and it unfortunately was not handled in a very competent manner, communication was not good, and there after we were met with rudeness and hostility. Poor customer service
Auburn store service was great but when it comes to delivery.The warehouse team packed the wrong colour cabinet for delivery
If you try to contact Customer support, you can only contact them via EMAIL.
They DONT take customer calls
They require you to take a photo of a furniture that you don't have.
They only respond email once a day at 12:45 pm.

quality not as good as the one on display in store
the round mango dining table in store looked a lot better than the one which was delivered to me..was disappointed as the table top has some large grey dull patches, not the deep rich orange/yellow tones like the one instore..I guess they would say imperfections in wood are to be expected somewhere in the fine print..chairs are fine and like ones on display. Very satisfied with the chairs but missing the arm covers and after a week still have not heard from anyone. I rang 3 times Monday and got customer care and they could not help, told me to ring the store again still no answer. Closed because of COVID. Sent email heard back on Tuesday saying they will back to me and now Friday still no word. I don’t know why you have a customer care when they cannot help. I would like someone get back to me ASAP. I need to know when am I getting the arm covers.Regards

The store has a fantastic range of furniture. Stephanie at Nunawading was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. It was always enjoyable dealing with her.The delivery was very easy, even through Covid lockdown.
I was disappointed with the communication with the delayed delivery. I never had any updates on the delay of my products. I visited the store once to enquire and on another occasion called. Staff were helpful when I called but it would have been nice to be informed about the months of delay for delivery. It ‘a all part of the customer service experience.
However, we are very happy with our purchase. We absolutely love it .

Poor sales tactic. Beware
Wasn't advised that there is no exchange of the table we bought only found this out in the terms & conditions on the invoice after the sale. They dont tell you this before you hand other the money. Poor sales tactic. We purchased a 2 drawer consult table for our foyer. After unpacking it realized that a 3 drawer would look better. So re-packed the table back in the box called the store asking could we exchange for bigger table which costs more money. Was told no you cant. I explained that there was nothing wrong with it no just would like the 3... Read more drawer bigger would suit our entry better. I asked to speak to the manager, was told he wasnt in and would be back on Tuesday. Sales person said she would get him to call me when he was back in the store. The store is ok, the staff ok, but the product that we purchased was really awkward to build and we were unaware that we would have to pay for delivery. The chair "Turner Reclining Chair' build instructions are confusing, small and without enough clarity. It took at least 2 hours for a product that cost $800. Never Again! I purchased the Morington table and chairs from the Homebush store, with an estimated wait of 7 weeks. The worker was not overly friendly and really wasn’t fussed on making a sale. This should have been the hint.13 weeks later no communication and no table. I called the store several times and sent emails without any response. Ghosted.
I noticed the website had a delivery date in July when I brought it in early April.
I was not offered a discount for the delay even an apology.
Finally when they called, the product was available 14 weeks late... Read morer but they couldn’t assemble it. Living solo, I said no I can’t lift it inside and not to send it. Finally I get a call back offering to deliver and assemble as I paid for. The two men who delivered and assembled where lovely. Coming from the locked down LGA wore mask and did not complain when I asked them to do the bulk of assembling outside. I would never shop with oz design again or trust anything they say (or don’t say).
Great service when selecting item but poor service in delivery
Top service by salesperson when choosing my dining table.The timber was Australian but it was made in China. I was told it would take 4 months to arrive.
Unfortunately the item took way too long to come from China & the item still hadn’t arrived after 6 months. Monthly emails kept saying the item was coming or “not too far away”. Suddenly my item appeared in the warehouse. Sadly I had to cancel the order after the manager promised delivery & then it never showed up. No phone call… nothing!
I was not offered any compensation or reduction in price after the inconvenience of waiting for that extremely long time.
A disappointing outcome… the matter was resolved as I received a full refund. Unfortunately I’m now without a dining table. Show details

Answer to three of the questions Above was everything was good. We purchased two products .The table is beautiful love it. The couch seems to have a repair on the cushions like a patch and maybe something like a Texter Mark maybe. Have sent an email through and photos just waiting for an answer back. Sadly the chairs I purchased and paid for 100% in advance don’t blend in as well as I hoped with my decor.The very next day after collecting them I requested a simple exchange of leg timber colour and it was denied.
I had not even asked for them to be assembled (as claimed on pick up) as it would have been easier to transport them unassembled and we found an Allen key wedged in the leather seat and one leg is incorrectly attached.

Not worth the money!!
We have had the couch for about three four weeks now and it already looks like it's two years old. The cushions lost their shape the mid part cushion is not full as the rest of them so it actually hurts when you want to lie down. Also the cushions get lint I will post a photo. And mind this is after a about a month. Don't know what will happen later on. 3,500 dollars not worth it at all. After not hearing about my delivery I called the store. The woman I spoke to was highly unprofessional, rude and dismissive. She deliberately tried to create an argument which I had to diffuse. She told me she didn’t have to pick up the phone as it was 8.50 am. That she’s busy doing other things and can I wait. She then had conversations with her colleagues about the cold weather. I purchased cabinet in April and was advised 2 weeks delivery.Received a telephone call to say delay in shipment. It would now be end May.
Received further call to say it would be July
Finally had cabinet delivered mid June minus the shelf inserts that hold shelves up.
Was told they would be sent immediately. Still waiting over a week later.
I am happy with the cabinet.

Bungalow Console Table
We came to this store to look for a console table & take advantage of the post Xmas sales. Found what we were looking for & went to buy it. We were informed that there was no stock available of this item & delivery would be late Feb, so by my calculations about 10 weeks wait time. The item took 24 weeks to arrive, by which time I was completely over it. I called the store twice to express my frustration & ask for a refund of my deposit, to which I was told this wasn't possible. Please I paid for the unpack and assemble/install option. I think I would have found the assembly quite time consuming and difficult.
Customer service let the experience down
I'm happy with my product. The style and quality is exactly what i was looking for. Unfortunately i wouldn't shop in the Coffs Harbour store again. I found the owner to be very rude. One staff member went above and beyond to help me and the owner scolded her in front of me. Not appropriate. Also felt some other staff were snobbish, including owner. We like ozdezine style furniture and it deserve 5 star for that from us but we happen to be around Auburn megamal and thought to order a Hampton coffee table from that branch. The customer service (the Indian background lady) was shockingly rude and selfish. We were surprised by that kind of behavior. The service at the warehouse was great. The coffee table was arrived with a crack and paint marks, we were told to hold on with what we have until the new one is replaced. It took three month but procedure was smooth. Looks really good, unhappy with delivery
I was really with the way the product looks and feels and they are wonderfully comfy. The issue that I had. Was that delivery men didn’t take away the cardboard boxes. They refused. Now I have 3 months worth of recycling cardboard sitting around the house, clogging the hallways and I can’t even appreciate my new furniture because my house is now a mess trying to store boxes and rubbish leftover from the deliverymen. I paid a delivery fee, i bought a lot of items, experienced delivery delays, I expected the cardboard and styrofoam to be taken away. I ordered furniture in in early Jan. I was advised delivery date would be mid Jan. When I left the store and was driving out of the shopping Centre I received a call that said it will be late Jan.Late Jan - no delivery. Contacted to follow up. Advised mid Feb. Late Feb still nothing and no contact. Checked on the website which state they had stock for all my items!!!
Emailed customer service and was contacted next day to organise delivery.

Products were due in two months from purchase will ahead of Christmas (our intended time to use). Took five or six months to receive instead. No feedback from team on order updates and never called to tell us it had actually arrived after the six months. Lucky I was calling them once a month. Pickup seemed such a hassle from their warehouse. Can't do weekends, couldn't do Thursday or Friday, had to take a Wednesday off work. Overall it wasn't a great experience.
