Taking a long time to replace damaged chair
A damaged chair was delivered, it has been over 2 weeks and nothing has happened. Disappointing that we had to instigate the matter and not the store. Very poor customer service

Poor customer service
We found the items we wanted online, when we went to store we found multiple display stock items were broken, such as chair backs & legs of chairs.
We spoke to a staff member about ordering the 3 bar stools, they said they had stock in the store as per the computer but they advised us to order from main warehouse as they didn't want to look and high chance they would be damaged.
Once items arrived I booked to collect on a Saturday morning, once i arrived i rang the bell at loading bay approx 9.15am multiple times and waited 15 mins, I eventu...
Good quality, awful experience with delivery
I have a positive experience with customer services and I am also very satisfied with the quality of my sofabed. However, the experience with delivery was awful. Having said that boys were polite but the lady on the phone was not helpful and was not interested in a good outcome for both parties.
Bad customer service
Saturday afternoon I came in into the store in Nunawading looking to purchase our new dining table, a friendly young lady approached me and asked if I needed any assistance, as I was talking too my husband a older sales woman came across and interrupted our conversation, after a couple minutes the young lady walked off looking upset about being interrupted (which is fair enough) I had been looking at this table for a while so I only had a few simple questions before I was ready too purchase, the older saleswoman noticed another customer walk in...and left me mid conversation and started talking too them.. then came back in.. after this happened for a 3rd time I found it very rude and not very professional. My husband and I had plans and were hoping for a quick and easy buy before leaving, after waiting 5 mins and still the older saleswoman had not returned we decided too walk out and purchase a table from freedom, my experience was not good and was made just feel like another number walking into the store.

Love the product, slow service
I could have spent a fortune in the store and filled my whole house - I love their products - great quality and prices seemed reasonable.
Unfortunately their staff seemed to care more about talking to each other than their customers.
Even when I asked questions they were abrupt and not interested.
Total rip off!! Don’t recommend
I did like this shop but won’t be returning! Be aware when you order an item in, as I did as prints, my order came in and I found out, a day before my landlord has said I was not allowed to put anything on the walls, so I had to council my order I purchased in store which was unwrapped still at the shop, so I was charged $130 cancellation fee, extremely expensive, good for there pockets! they know how to rip off there customers!
Beautiful Designs, terrible service
We were delivered a damaged table and was told i was going to get a replacement waited 2 months only to be eventually refunded $100 and that was after several heated discussions with management (Store Manger even hung up on me after a discussion) its a shame they have beautiful furniture but what gets delivered is seconds quality - do not sign for furniture unless 100% happy. That was our mistake even though we were promised a replacement at the time
Was sent the wrong dining chairs and colour
I bought lounge dining suite and homewares ordered through their interior designer but they the wrong colour dining chairs and the chairs are too low for the table very uncomfortable.
After shopping around I settled on a range of furniture from Oz Design that was ‘on sale at once a year prices, they never normally take 25% off’ the salesman said. After feeling pressured into committing to buy prior to the sale finished I decided to take my business elsewhere. The day after the ‘Stock take’ sale ended the pricing remained the same with a ‘New Year Sale’ commencing. I happily spent my $8,500 at another store and I would not waste your time dealing with this misleading company.
We looked everywhere for a dining table and chairs we liked and we finally found what we were looking for at Oz Design. It's a shame that the customer has to assemble their own furniture, considering its not like we bought a flat pack or an item from Ikea. Anyway, we assembled the table as we were instructed (with the table top on the cardboard it has arrived in, attaching the legs and then turning it over). When we turned the table over, there were 2 noticeable scratches on the surface of the table. I called and asked what the exchange pro...cess was and I was told to email their customer service, which I did. I was not able to get an exchange, and was told I could purchase another table for a slight discount - because apparently they check 100% of all their furniture before it goes out. The table and chairs themselves are lovely - its the shocking after care service that makes them so bad. I would never shop here again.
I Have left work early fought heavy traffic and got to the OPEN store to be told I cannot pick up my ordered table as the warehouse is closed. THIS IS JUST NOT ON. Open means all aspects of your. business must be open and servicing customers. I just want to go back and get a refund. Two trips and two hours lost pay.
Non existent after sales service!
I purchased a table and a sofa in store from Oz Design Castlehill. The purchasing process went fine with staff being courteous and helpful. I paid $ 85 for delivery and at no time did they tell me that the products needed to be assembled. They were delivered on a Saturday morning and I was surprised to receive 2 flat packages. Delivery staff tried to get my signature and leave in a hurry but grudgingly agreed to assemble the sofa and take away the packaging. They refused to assemble the table, saying they were "not supposed to". When the table ...was opened up there was a large crack in the wood. When I called the Castlehill store I was directed to customer service very abruptly. I called customer service multiple times but always got a recording which did not even give me the option of holding on but just directed me to leave my number for a call back. 4 days after I left my number I have yet to receive a call back. I love their furniture and intended buying more but the non existent after sales service has changed my mind. I also feel that customers should be advised if pieces have to be assembled. You do not expect to received unassembled furniture for the prices you pay and I would not have decided to make those purchases if I had known this. Would have preferred to go to Ikea in that case! The whole experience was disappointing to say the least.

OZ Design Monti Sofa
Purchased an OZ Design Monti Sofa in January 2015. It is very comfortable, however the fabric is very poor quality, it started pilling within 4 months of purchase. I contacted customer care provided photos, was advised that pilling can happen sometimes, their policy is that I must buy an electric de-piller use it and observe if the pilling returned after 3 months. I did as requested, after the additional 3 months the pilling had returned. It has taken an additional 4 months, dozens of phone calls/emails (all of which I documented) I have now re...ceived a refund December 2015. I kept clear and extensive notes and documented everything phone and email correspondence and emailed it to to OZ design customer care). Interestingly this week I visited an Oz design furniture store, to ask the staff about the Monti and the fabric (as I am interested if the company have made any amendments or are providing any different advice to clients following our return due to fabric not fit for purpose). I acted as an interested customer and ask about the fabric, how durable was it, were there other fabrics more durable, etc. I was informed that the fabric was great that it was commercial grade fabric. There is only a 12 months warranty on fabric, so act promptly if you find the fabric is not fit for purpose and avoid the Monti sofa. I won't purchase anything from OZ designs again despite receiving the refund, the Customer Service was very poor. I was always promised a return phone call when I called in with questions but this was virtually never forthcoming, nor were email replies.
very bad delivery service so rude ！
Ordered some furniture from the Alburn store. Sales people are very nice and friendly. when it came down to delivery, it is a totally different story. The delivery guy is so rude. Just dumped the furniture in the middle of the room. And want us to sign on the delivery paper ! When we said we'd like to have a look at the goods first before we sign. He basically didn't give a sh*t and just left! Worst experience ever.! I'd say stay away from them !!!
Nice furniture, shocking customer service
When delivering a couch they broke my door handle and put a hole in my wall. It took almost 3 months for compensation with numerous emails and phone calls made to customer service. I'm still waiting for compensation for the damaged wall. Despite their terrible 'customer neglect' department, the couch is beautifully crafted and very comfortable.

Why does the Store Manager continue to deceive and lie to customers? I am astounded that she is still in this role. A clear case of promoting people well beyond their capabilities. I would like feedback from the staff? How are you coping with incompetent management?
Just assembling my Padma glass top dining table and I can't work out how to affix the glass top to the base - can someone help with this please? Thank you.
