I purchased dining chairs, stools as well as a large canvas from the Fortitude Valley store and Jenelle was very helpful.

When I received the items I noticed some minor defects and have been liaising with Samantha from Customer Care who went above and beyond to resolve the issue.

Delivery delayed several weeks, poor communication, then incorrect chairs received, 2 were wrong colour plus 1 damaged chair. Long wait for another delivery. Never again will I shop here.

I recently purchased a “Cosmo 3seater sofa” from ozdesign in Brisbane and I could not regret this purchase more. Within a month of delivery, the cushions on the sofa have ‘sunk’ monumentally and left the fabric loose and lounge really uncomfortable. I live alone and spend most of my time at work - this lounge doesn’t even get used very much.

I went to the store and was helped to select an entertainment unit that was perfect for my house. They showed me all the options then left me with the brochures and a tape measure to browse with no pressure. I rang back the next day and they remembered me and helped me place my order. I arrived within the time frame and delivered up a very steep flight of stairs. It was very easy, the product is very good and best of all no pushy salespeople simple respect and guidance.

Enjoyed visiting two OzDesign stores when sourcing a new couch for my parents. It had been a long time since they had made such a purchase. The styling in store was inspirational and Mum often said that she liked some piece of decor as we made our way around. The greatest moment was when she tried the Kate - and said, this is it! We purchased a dining table and chairs set, coffee table plus a console wall table, all solid Tasmanian oak Australian made. The coffee table cracked at both ends the same day when delivered. A few days later cracks were 4mm wide. Customer Service got a few subsequent coffee tables in and they all have similar problems, so the manufacturer consistently got them all wrong in consecutive batches. They all split the same way!! It took the store from our purchase in May 2016 to November to not resolve the problem. We finally gave up and will never buy local made furniture again. You pay a premium for local made furniture, you support local manufacturing and turns up rubbish... No wonder people look elsewhere.

1. Delivery driver broke a door and then had a go at me for 'dobbing on him' when he was in my house during a subsequent delivery. Pretty sure its never ok to be made to feel uncomfortable in you own house by someone who has damaged you purchase.

I should have read Product Review before ordering things from this company. I too was mislead with sales staff saying 2-3 weeks for delivery. I actually chose bookshelves from Oz design based on this fact, over their competitors (whom had a 5-6 week leadtime).
