Do not take returns
As the products I was interested in were not in store at Essendon DFO, I was encouraged to purchase the items online. I purchased a coffee table and matching side table for a my new home in early January. I picked up the items on Saturday and the side table does not fit within the space.
OZ Design online stores will not accept returns. The side table is still in the box and never used, however OZ Design don't care.

Horrendous quality - no returns, be aware.
Purchased 6 Trilogy chairs online after viewing chairs in store. Waited 6 months for delivery to receive the chairs covered in defects and damage. We requested a refund which was refused and are now stuck with dealing with this company to find an alternate product of which we do not want as the quality is a joke.

Very Disappointed with couch
4 years ago we purchased a Kate couch from OZ Design. After less than a year one of the legs started to wobble when you sat on the couch.The fabric was also pilling more than I expected for the amount of wear. When we lifted the couch to check out the leg, it fell off. I initially left a message for the manager, and later had to ring again. He was sceptical but said that he would organise a pick up. r of a music student in the house as I felt quite intimidated. Of course, as they lifted the couch, the offending leg fell off. They took it and returned it 'fixed' 2 weeks later. Last week the leg fell off again when we changed the loungeroom around. It was obvious that the screw had been glued back on rather than re screwed. My husband screwed it back on from the edges and now it feels more secure. Disappointing as I like to support Australian made, but won't be buying from this company again.Similar opinion? Great - second time around
We bought a Mango Creek Dining Table from the Caringbah store and waited a month or so for it to be ordered in and was disappointed when it was delivered broken. I rang OzDesign Customer Service who said they'd assign a case manager. That day I was contacted by Justine who was excellent in resolving the issue. Initially she was going to order another table from the factory that was going to be another few months but I told her there was one in stock (which I found out from Caringbah store) so she arranged for that. Absolutely appauling
Terrible customer service. Ordered alot of furniture for a display home. Furniture pieces chosen on delivery dates.
No update from store. I called to follow up on delivery to be told it wouldn't be delivered on time. Had to purchase elsewhere given we had a deadlind.
Oz Design is Only offering credit note. Absolutely terrible service. Will not be purchasing again.

Good products and friendly staff.
The products available appeal to me. Staff were friendly and helpful. The assembly of one of the products was straight forward and hassle free.
The only negative was that one of the products had been assembled by the staff in the store and when i got home was not working. At first was unable to resolve the fault over the phone with staff in the store and looked as though needed to be return to the store. In doing so I was told I would have to do so at my expense. driving or I paid for a courier to collect. I was not satisfied with this as I was not cause of the problem and felt the store didn't take responsibility for their defective product. Great furniture you can't find anywhere else!
Great range in store. Excellent friendly service. Value prices and high quality furniture!
We were able to buy some items off the floor and others were supplied promptly from the warehouse or import order.
One item was faulty but this was resolved professionally to our complete satisfaction.

Oz Designs Leather Sofa - Worst Furniture Decision I've Ever Made
Dealing with Ozdesigns has been one of the worst customer experiences of my life. They said they'd deliver the sofa in the first week of November. They didn't. There was no explanation or follow up.
As a result, I emailed them and asked for an update. I received no reply of any sort to that message.
I called them to rearrange delivery. I was under the impression we had agreed the delivery would take place following Wednesday but, apparently, they didn't have all the details they needed - so it wasn't delivered. They didn't call me for those d...Read more
etails, they just didn't deliver it when they said they would. I had to call them back! I called them again. This time I passed the test and they arranged a delivery time. The first thing the delivery guy said when he arrived was 'its not going to fit.' They tried to get it upstairs but couldn't get it in to the room we wanted. I signed for delivery and agreed with my wife we'd keep it downstairs if we needed to. We looked and it the next day and it didn't seem right so ... We called to see if we could return the sofa. They said they didn't do returns. My wife followed up with the store who said they'd send a person round to sort it out. I literally couldn't understand a word the second delivery guy said. Damaged Goods
My order was significantly delayed due to COVID, which is understandable. When it did arrive and I unpacked it at home the powder coating on the legs was cracked and peeling off in large chunks. It looked as though no primer had been applied. After receiving incorrect email address from Customer service on the phone, I decided to return to the store. The staff in store were fantastic, however there is a limit of $400 a day for returns, which in a furniture store is ridiculous! They called Westpac, however there were no managers in the store authorised to make the increase and so refund could not be processed until the following day. A very disappointing experience.

Avoid and shop elsewhere.
I bought many items for my new apartment in May. Stitching is coming undone on my hardly used lounge suite, the console table is cracking and the hardly used rattan seat dining chairs are losing the black colour revealing yellow underneath. OzDesign will replace the lounge cover and nothing else. Please shop elsewhere.

Beware of ordering online with no returns or exchanges offered
Ordered 8 cushions online, had hoped to return two. After no response to email, went in store who informed me to ring customer care who then emailed 24 hours later to say no returns/exchanged for change of mind, what a waste of my time! Staff were rude and unwilling to help. Really disappointing as I had loved OzDesigns products previously, however now won’t order again.

terrible customer service
Ordered items online in lockdown early Oct, stated on website to be delivered in 2 weeks. End of November just told they will be delivered in January. Can't offer refund and if cancelled 30% charge. Email customer service rude. Will not shop here ever again.

Great service
Great help in deciding furniture choice. Had a problem with assembly of cupboard. Contacted owner who immediately put a plan in action & resolved problem to our satisfaction. Very satisfied & will continue to shop there.

Product fault and no refund
I purchased a beautiful dining table online.
First night having dinner there was a stain left that I simply cannot remove. The table doesn’t appear to have been sealed correctly or possibly even at all. It’s extremely porous.
They are suggesting a use a tablecloth and refuse to offer a refund for a terrible product. Im having to go through fair trading
You would just really expect that after spending $1000 dollars on a table it would last for a good long while. It’s a horrible feeling to spend so much on something you think is worth it then have it ruined because it’s not been made well.
Really really disheartened
The customer care line was also incredibly rude and really patronising.

Best Service Ever!
SUPER pleased with the service OZ Design Essendon along with their Warehouse Team gave me through these difficult times! Courtney from their Warehouse organized my exchange of couch so quickly & efficiently, I cannot praise all involved enough for their exceptional service (Including Head Office Staff) 100/10 will buy products from Oz Design again.

Appalling rude customer service
Rude owner...change mind re sofa Only hour since purchase.. refused refund...I did ask credit note 700 dollar of deposit..refused unless I spent same which was 2000. Read reviews before you buy. Very upset customers with many issues of not being able to return evening damaged..no refunds..poor customer service...rude owner....ill never shop here again and will continue to review unless my issue resolved

Genuine help and assistance
Justine and shadia handled my support request. Generally when dealing with other companies issues either never get solved or response is slow.
These ladies resolved the issue within 2 days and went above and beyond to over deliver on service expectations. Thank you.
Another note. The delivery drivers we extra helpful, not the most straight forward delivery drop, they too got the job done.
Overall, I feel this team has really worked on customer satisfaction and appreciate the honest support. Because of this I have been a return customer and always will be.
