Great machine for the price
You first notice that this pole saw cuts more slowly than a petrol pole saw and can chatter a bit but I only use it occasionally but invaluable when I do. Value for money is excellent. It is top heavy at full extension but has a very good reach and having the adjustable head, you can rest it on a branch and let it use the weight to advantage. The pole extensions lock in well. It came with a 2AH battery, quite adequate for my needs but takes a few hours to recharge. Tensioning the chain is simple and it holds tension. Lubricating the chain is st...raightforward. I am using it more and more at minimal extension for general cutting instead of firing up my petrol chainsaws. A bit cumbersome to carry around on the tractor but great to trim overhanging branches. I have not tried it on logs above 100mm, Thinking maybe that I should buy the Ozito chainsaw as safer to use if I am pruning higher up on a ladder?

Perfect pruner for the price
Originally I was going to buy the Ryobi pole pruner skin which cost around 200 as I've already had several Ryobi +One gear but then saw the Ozito version with battery kit for 129. Considering the usage would be minimal, I didn't think the cost of the Ryobi skin could be justified.
It does get top heavy when fully extended but then most pole saws are top heavy. I like this saw since the head angles can be adjusted which makes it more versatile and manageable in a tight situation. The cuts were pretty clean and went through all kind of branches as long you take your time and let the saw do the work and for what it worth I think it was well worth the cost so far.
