The little mower that COULDN’T
My lawn isn’t huge, but it takes a whole weekend to mow it because the battery keeps overheating.
I usually get 15 mins out of it before it overheats, which then means the battery has to be taken out and cooled before it can charge up again.
Ive had a Ryobi mower in the past with the same battery capacity that didn’t have this issue.

Does a reasonable job on small sized blocks
Purchased mower 8 months ago. Have a few back up batteries; I find after approx 20 minutes of use the battery goes flat. So it is handy to have at least 2 back ups ready & fully charged.
It also struggles to cut in longer grass (i.e. anything over say 6 inches), but even petrol powered push mowers struggle in long grass.

Impressed
I decided to give this lawn mower ago. I was happy with the weight of it, and putting the mower together was a dream. The catcher was very difficult to align, I did read that vaseline would help, so I tried it, and yes it does help. I think I spent about 2 hours to finally get it snapped into position.
Mowing the grass which was quiet long, it seemed to handle it with little problems. This is a great invention for a woman, easy to use. A pleasant surprise, thanks Ozito.

Don't buy into the advertising: Electric Battery Mowers WORK
The mower is light enough that most people could pick it up easily. It's pretty quiet, and extremely quiet when compared to my old petrol mower. I only have about 10 square metres of lawn, so it's quite suitable for my purpose - however I do concede that for large properties, you'll need to get a larger model, unless you're okay with doing it in 2 parts. But I would expect most homes can mow their lawn in a single battery use. The only down side I noticed was the flimsy grass catcher which requires some coordination to put together, don't be af...
Read moreraid to SMACK the two pegs together for a snug fit. Mowing over wet grass (while never recommended with any mower) does stall it a little if it's long wet grass, but you can bunny hop the mower to slowly work away the length and then it works fine. Why have I waited this long to try an electric lawn mower, and at $199 for the battery packs included at Bunnings - it's a great price!Purchased in September 2020 at Bunnings Warehouse for $199.00.

The little mower that could
Looks like a toy but works like a champ on my verge and small yard. Would have been 5 stars if there was a way to lower the deck a little further for a closer cut. Works fine with the included battery and also the 5Ah battery that I bought.

One year after purchase
Still going well after one year. No faults. A great little mower. Easy to use. Very light-weight. Cuts a flat 200 square metres on one 3.0Ah battery provided the grass isn't too damp or too long. If it is long or damp you may need a second battery to finish the job so I also have a 4.0Ah battery and this means I have power to spare for the blower. The motor is not powerful so you need to cut regularly. I once had to get my $99 electric mower out when the grass was too long for it and it kept stalling. If you are planning a summer holiday away for a few weeks then plan on getting someone with a more powerful mower to cut when you get back.

Handy & good value
Same as the commented given by others, you find the Ozito PXCLMK-1318 mower like a toy when you open the box. It is really small, light weight and easy to operate. Be remembered that such beautiful features are good for elder or female users mowing for a small lawn, i.e. 25 minutes of mowing. If you are young and strong guy, you should definitely buy a big and powerful one for work efficiency. My wife and I are 55+ and small size that this small battery mower is perfect for us. Even though my lawn is 300sqm+, I can do it slowly and in good orde...
Read morer without any trouble and danger in pouring petroleum. You must follow the instruction manual that don't cut too long grass in one shot as it will hurt your motor and it doesn't work out. The current model comes with a 3Ah battery but you had better to buy another 3Ah or 4Ah battery for your mowing job. It will be good if you pay totally $399 for full set of garden tools and mower with two batteries. Since I have some other tools, I paid $129 for buying a battery hammer drill with a 4Ah battery which can be used for the mower too. In short, you should consider your possible need of other garden tools or household tools so that you can buy them together for cost-saving. Read the categolue to find out the product combination including the skin (product without battery). My only criticism is the assembly of the grass catcher is so difficult that is really a test of your skills and patience. Overall, I am very happy with this product and finally replace my old heavy petrol mower.Purchased in May 2020 at Bunnings Warehouse for $199.00.

Bad upper handle
There is a definite flaw in handle in that the screws are not long enough to allow you to fold the handle over during storage or if you wanted to transport in your car. Once you loosen the screws to fold the handle down, the top part springs loose and a great deal of dexterity and hand strength is required to put it together again.

Great little mower
Great little mower. When I first unpacked it I thought it looked like a kids plastic mower! But it really surprised me with its ease of use, grass catching is good and little to no maintenance. Battery lasts long enough to mow both my small back and front yards.

Cordless and Brushless
Bought this product mainly because it is cordless and very affordable. It is a portable size and makes it relatively easy to maintain the small lawn area at the front of my house. Battery life would be enough for small lawn areas, but I bought an extra battery as I also have a nature strip and backyard. Really recommend the Ozito brand as all its accessories come at a good price.
