Good little stove for outdoors
It's a little ripper of a stove, well built, better built than I expected as per photos , plus to boot cooks very good. Just a couple of things I would like to see as inprovements would be number one is a hinged door at the bottom to let the ash out after build up , the hole is already there with a plate covering it held by 3 small bolts & nuts. Why did someone not think of a little hindged door it would make life much more easier for the Cleaning & removal of ash, a real pain having to turn it upside down to remove ash. Providing a hinged door...
Read more at the bottom would make much more sense than a plate that with 3 bolts that is useless when filled ip with ash. 2nd thing the main door needs a larger glass area to look into. Final coment I would also like to see another flat cooking plate made available for purchase without any ribs on it for cooking eggs, fitters ect. Otherwise it's perfect so far & looks good to boot with the cast iron construction, looks lika real stove.Purchased in May 2020 at Freddys for $299.00.

I have one of these that seems to smoke a lot. I have tried Redgum and yellow box. Can anyone reccommend how to reduce the excessive smoke?
1 answer
My stove pumps out a lot of smoke as well if it's runs far too hot & the air flow is fully opened up . Think it's just part & parcel of the stove being made from cast iron & you need to treat it a
little different to straight steel as cast can heat up & hold a lot of heat than normal steel stoves , much the same with cast iron cattle brands , you will have to play around a bit with the air flow & just keep trying you different types of timber & try one that burns a bit cooler, least it gets rid of the mosquitoes up here in the north Queensland ha ha.

Is this able to be used indoors, if I have a window open ?

No i Wouldn't recommend using a weber indoors at all
They are not a sealed unit and fumes smoke and Carbon dioxide would permeate the room
It's not a weber Deb it is an outdoor wood stove with a chimney it is not suitable for using indoors
Regards Ian
Who uses weber indoors??

No Deb
It would be too dangerous and it isn't a sealed firebox smoke would permeate the room extensively
I wouldn't use it even inside a shed you would have to extend the flue outside for a start
It really is an outdoors camping stove
Thanks Grant and Macca. Guy in the shop who sold to me reckoned would be ok if room vented. Glad I sought you out !!! He has since refunded me. :)
