Can covid stop being an excuse?!
Booking online was easy
Having the parcel picked up was convenient
Transit time were atrocious
Age old excuse of covid effecting shipping times
Was told 3-4 business days for interstate delivery, with COVID adding possibly another 2.

Stressful
The package was picked up on time by StarTrack. I went, initially, to Pack and Send store and was advised the best and cheapest way was to use self-packing option. This was good advice.
When then parcel arrived interstate, I (the sender) was notified rather than the receiver that the parcel could be picked up. However, the parcel was then lost. It ended up back at Perth airport but, fortunately, it was retrieved in time!!
Not happy with the way it was dealt with. The employee was abrupt (rude) and offered no apology for the stress this whole event caused me.

Pretty poor service
Did the full online registration of package and payment, printed off labels, did all the paperwork and package was due to be collected between Midday & 5pm, and was never collected. And still not collectyed the whole next day. Had to end up dropping it to a depot, who seemed to not want to have a lot to do with it, as it was for "Startrack" but eventually said I could leave it for them to collect. First time I've used this service - Not a glowing endorsement for service here.

Don't use the online self service
The package wasn't picked up on the day it was supposed to. When I took my package into the office in Southport, the person there told me that the online service is nothing to do with pack and send and that it is just a platform to offer customers a discount, and then went on to tell me that because I chose a discounted rate, I shouldn't have expected the service to be reliable.
After the package was finally collected, it was delivered in a timely manner by Couriers Please. I should have booked directly with them.

The staff member at the Marrickville Pack&Send was both rude when I dropped off the product and when I called.
-Dropping off my product it was made to be a massive hassle for them as I didn’t have the labels already on the boxes. I had specifically rang the head office and they said it was fine to drop the product and the Marrickville site would look after it.
- I was told don’t bother calling just wait for the product to arrive.
Positive was it was a reasonable price but what should have been a same day/next day delivery took 3 day.

Staff at shop did not know how to accept parcels
Their prices are competitive, and the online process is solid, but the staff person at the shop did not know how to accept self service parcels. He fidgeted around behind the desk and then admitted he had not been trained. I just left them there awkwardly and took a photo as evidence because my prepaid quote was uninsured. Read moreor safety reasons. Regarding delivery to a post office, this is the case for regional deliveries where the carrier does not deliver directly to that outlining delivery address/area. They will deliver to the closest receiving point and small regional towns, generally understand this is the procedure. First time and last time I will be using them
Even though the pick up was on time, I had 2 surprises ...1/ the delivery was 6 days instead of 2 advertised and 2/I had to pay huge duty which I was not aware at all. When I asked the questions, they use again the "Covid excuse" and mentioned a rule about the duty. They should advise or give a heads-up to their customers.

A day late
I wish I could say I was really happy but as
The courier driver showed up a day late to collect my parcel. I was frustrated by this as I waited all day on the day it was supposed to be picked up and then I couldn’t go out the following day until it was. Considering I paid almost $60 I wasn’t impressed. The item did get delivered a few days later so wasn’t next day which is what I paid for. I’m sure I was just the unlucky one.

Need better communication
Package was not picked up on original scheduled day and did not leave the house. Waited till early afternoon the next day for them to pick up before calling, no one came to pick it up so called and they said it needed to be rebooked in which I didn't understand as it was booked in for pick up the day prior. So instead I chose to drop it off at one of there shops and the next day I get a call from the driver to arrange pick up, where is the commutation.
However the Delivery at other end was successful just a few days later then expected.
