Seen a drop-off in service recently
We love our local Pack & Send franchise for complicated items but also use their online self-fulfillment. This used to be fairly reliable, however it now takes 1-2 weeks to get items picked up and multiple follow-ups. These generally aren't cheap parcels - $100-$250 freight and it can be frustrating to have to put in multiple calls and emails to get something organised.
As a follow-up feedback, it's also how Packsend handles these kind of followups. We use other shipping consolidators who will proactively chase missed pickups. With Packsend I have to annoy your CS staff into following it up each time.

Very expensive and slow delivery but at least it got there in the end , also couldn’t track it all the way for whatever reason, just ended up sent with a third party

They used Fastway.
They used "Fastway Couriers" who would have to be the worst courier company in Australia.
My parcel was tagged as "undelivered waiting further instructions" in Melbourne 3 days into a standard 1-2 day delivery to NSW.
Was finally delivered to correct NSW address 3 days after I called to ask "why it’s saying undelivered in Melbourne".
Dear Pack and Send, if you want great ratings I suggest you drop Fastway Couriers who are the worst courier company in Australia (possibly Earth).

Picked up package 2 days late
The courier didn't show up on the day we scheduled. We got a very vague and unhelpful automated email apologising for the delay.
This was very inconvenient as we couldn't easily facilitate pickup on other days - we had to leave the package (which was moderately valuable) outside. Recommend dropping off at depot if you can.
The guy on the phone didn't know which day the courier would arrive or how to reschedule.
Package arrived promptly and in one piece once it was picked up though, no complaints there.

Can covid stop being an excuse?!
Booking online was easy

The best part of my experience as a sender was the on line booking process. That was quick and easy. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. During the booking process you can elect to drop your goods at a nearby Pack & Send store to save staying at home. Even though the travel distance is 20km, the service is not a point to point courier and still goes into and out of the central carrier depot. The staff member at the Marrickville Pack&Send was both rude when I dropped off the product and when I called.
-Dropping off my product it was made to be a massive hassle for them as I didn’t have the labels already on the boxes. I had specifically rang the head office and they said it was fine to drop the product and the Marrickville site would look after it.
- I was told don’t bother calling just wait for the product to arrive.
Positive was it was a reasonable price but what should have been a same day/next day delivery took 3 day.

Online quoting and pricing good but customer service in drop off center poor!
Quick and easy to quote and purchase online, but service i received in the drop off center was poor. My box had a slight bow in the cardboard (2cm) which I was charged an additional $20 for but this bow was simply from lying on its side in my car, which would have been easily fixed if I was allowed to use some of their tape.

Courier was unreliable.
Courier was suppose to come tuesday, took a day off work, they didnt come. Had to take another day off on the wednesday only for them to come to the door, see no parcel and leave.
