Didn't arrive on time, delayed a lot, anyway I got my bags. They communicated time to time. I am ok with the service but not happy. Will send next time as well.
Disappointing experience (due to the carrier though)
I thought I'd give Pack & Send a go after seeing lots of good reviews (especially regarding the local franchisee). However, for convenience I just used the online service to deliver a package 25km from my home before father's day. Unfortunately for me Pack & Send used Fastway/Aramex as the carrier for this delivery. I hadn't had good experiences with Fastway in the past and you only need to check their reviews to see how consistently poor their service is. (This site alone has almost 8000 reviews averaging 1 star).

Price good, fast but
The only problem is quite lots of time parcel were not picked up on the day I booked. Well, it is troublesome coz I can’t always wait for that. If the driver can’t come should stop least message me or their route or arrangements should be better. 8 out of 10 times they didn’t come on the day I booked .
May as well use AusPost
The parcel was not picked up on time. Despite being promised a same-day pick-up, it was picked up nearly two days late.
The staff on the phone were helpful and polite.
The online booking system was very easy and simple to use, with competitive rates. However, unlikely to use in the future.

Great service and price if you use self-service only. If not, expect your pants to pulled around your ankles for an in store quote. Was overcharged in store about $130 for the same thing.

BUT I was extremely disappointed that the on-line booking service defaulted to Couriers Please who are always worse than dreadful and the reason I went to P&S in the first place was so I didn't have to use CP. There is no indication of this is going to happen until the packing labels pops out of your printer which is annoying and too late as you've paid the fee and accepted the Futile Booking charge for cancellations (some would argue that sending anything by Couriers Please is futile - but that's a different story).
P&S s...hould be more up-front about who they are intending to use for your package. It makes a difference (this package was predictably many days overdue and impossible to track which was the fault of CP not P&S - hence 3 stars not the 1 star review Couriers Please deserve) but sadly until P&S can provide me some way to ensure my parcels aren't handled by Couriers Please (I would have paid extra for a more reputable courier but was never given the option) I will probably be forced to use someone else despite James at West Ryde providing great service, sympathetic to my concerns, and offering to help me with future deliveries directly - but not via the on-line booking system (which I really need to use for convenience). This seems like an easy fix - just give option A, B, C on the website and let the customer decide. Maybe this is a change to look forward to and I'd come back if that was to happen.
Unclear online booking !
Manifest states A4 envelope documents but had to pay further $35 before delivery because They say I selected parcel , yet manifest says otherwise ! Rather use DHL direct ..much clearer when booking !
Domestic delivery review
Website easy to use. Package was picked up on time and delivered quickly. However I selected sign on delivery - this did not happen - goods were left on the receivers doorstep which is visible to the road. Not ideal and one of the reasons I selected sign on delivery.
Paid for express, got standard instead but company apologised and refunded
As title suggests. Paid for express, it took one week for the package to even be picked up.
Pack and Send reimbursed the difference between express and standard shipping as a result. The issue was due to a third party courier. I appreciate the way Pack and Send handled this after the fact, despite the frustration at the time.
Average shipping agency
I booked a shipment (a 6kg air-conditioning condenser) to go from Perth, W.A. to the Turks & Caicos Islands.
My client wanted the shipment to go air express via DHL, as he believed UPS was not as reliable as DHL.
He also wanted the condenser delivered in 4-6 days.
I looked up DHL delivery times, and they stated 2-5 days to T's & C's Islands. I booked the shipment at 9:00AM on Monday 23rd November via the "International Courier" section of the Pack and Send website.
I booked with Pack and Send, as their webpage states they deal only with DHL...
My item reached its destination.
My deliveries arrived quite timely at the intended destination, hence the three stars. Lost two due to calling pack and send to provide entry code for the delivery address who told me that my item might be sent back to me. Four days after pick up and tracking showed it was almost at the delivery address....so this caused significant concern for no reason. I called admin a couple of times and they sounded very down and negative.
Not advised of additional fees for processing customs at receivers end.
When parcel arrived in Latvia , receiver was told a fee was required to process through customs and pay Value Added Tax. If same items were processed through normal post (as previously sent) there would not have been any VAT nor processing fees. Only went this way as Aust Post is only doing economy email at present due to Covid19 restrictions, 2 to 3 months delivery without reducing the charge.
To give credit though the parcel arrived before expected time.
Also unable to bundle certain items as every item had to be individually inspected. This made it awkward as I was sending gifts for several families to a cousin to distribute. Once again via Aust Post only needed a declaration.
Some problems but would use again
Cost was excellent. Tracking good although text alerts would have been helpful. Speed of delivery was amazing! (Monday afternoon to Friday morning Perth to Sydney - beat that, Australia Post!) Disappointing that packing requirements and restricted items (a printer) weren't advised until during the self serve booking process so we had to review and repack everything. The options for pick up times (basically the whole day) were a bit unsatisfactory. On delivery the recipient wasn't home so goods were returned to depot for pick up where they promp...tly disappeared. They were eventually located and delivered the following day but hours were wasted by recipient when it should have been a simple exercise to go to the depot, as arranged, and pick them up. Despite these issues I would use Pack & Send again and I would recommend to others.
Good service but inconvenient website for booking
My package was picked up as booked and delivered impressively quickly, no problems at all. And cheaper than Australia Post.
But I was hugely frustrated by the fact that I couldn't save my online quote. At every stage I found I needed to collect more details to complete the quote and had to re-enter it all from scratch every time. eg. I didn't find out till the very last step that I had to include my recipient's phone number. That meant logging out, emailing my buyer, and waiting for the reply. Altogether it took 4 attempts before I could complete it.
If I use this again I will have a better idea what details to get before I start, but I find the lack of such an obvious feature very thoughtless.
Slow delivery which upset the buyer
was reasonably easy to use but the delivery was so. I had an upset customer that it took so long. The tracking said for two days that it was on board for delivery
