Be careful of your installers - need to fill in gaps


18month old unit that cost in excess of $12000 was not covered under warranty because of a gaping hole left in the unit after cabling was done leaving enough room for a huge frog to get in and fry a board in the outdoor unit. If we had known the hole was there - we would have plugged it with a rag and technician said it was needed for air flow which was nonsense. Queensland is full of frogs and I can understand a gecko as they get everywhere and I try to put peppermint oil and camphor to deter them, but a huge green tree frog! Not good enough installer.
