Not really over ear – The unit is advertised as "Full Size" over ear - unfortunately it is a lot smaller than it looks on the photos, and barely covers half my ear. Other than that however, the unit is *very* light so it is ok to wear for a decent length of time. The cable is of a good length - not so short to that you can't stand up with them on, but not so long as to get tangled up in a mess.

As many online reviews have stated the sound is not crystal clear and may come across as being muffled without a lot of eq adjusting.

For the price, it's good but not great.
