Please Dont Book Paul’s Cleaning Service Ever Ever! Scammers!!!
Paul’s cleaning Melbourne which run under another “Fantastic service” is biggest frauds I ever met in my life.
It was yesterday 27JAN2021 I have booked end of lease cleaning on 74 QUEENS Road which is 1 bedroom and study room apartment.
They asked me to make advance payment with membership offer for an years which is around $470 which I feel that I got ripped off. Plus I got $100 charged by property agent for delay in returning keys due to cleaning appointment timings.
I am going to write on other social media websites so that people should ...not get scammed. I will also formally book complaint and will take legal action against this fraud company incase if I don’t get 100% bond refund which they have promised while booking vacate cleaning. I am talking to legal advisors and will also get ombudsman involvement.
I scheduled in 2pm on Wednesday to have my apartment cleaned in Sydney with Paul's Cleaning Service and received a text confirmation from Fantastic Services? They told me they are the same company but I got a more expensive quote from Fantastic Services, which was why I went with Paul's cleaning service.
After confirming 2pm Wed, I scheduled my day off work in Newcastle, drove down to Sydney Wed morning and Fantastic Services called me at 2pm saying they can't make it!? They asked to reschedule for the next day but I was planning on driving b...ack to Newcastle for work on Thu. I ended up having to stay in Sydney and rescheduled Fantastic Services for 8am to 9am, they did not get to my place until after 9am. They said it will take two hours for cleaning but it took more than 3 hours and I had to get them to shut the door behind them and wasn't able to check the place because I had to return my keys to the real estate agent by noon. Fantastic Services and Paul's Cleaning were extremely unprofessional. If they are going to cancel, they should let us know at least 12 hours in advance. Cancelling on me at 2pm when my appointment at 2pm is completely unacceptable. My drive down to Sydney was a complete waste of my time. I am very disappointed with them.
They did a terrible end of lease cleaning and we paid $$$ for it. I even forwarded them a copy of the lease agent’s report about their lousy cleaning and when I complained about it, they ask us for more money to clean it again. We have to reclean our apartment by ourselves. To think we paid them $$$ to do it
Organized to have my oven and stovetop cleaned, the reality was very different from the advertised service. As has been already mentioned in reviews this company comes under the umbrella of Fantastic Services (which I had previously used for carpet cleaning and been very happy with the results so I wasn't overly concerned about my booking being redirected to them although I thought it rather unusual). I had booked the service and had to rearrange it for an earlier time which they accommodated at short notice. The cleaner arrived half an hour ea...rly as he told my husband he had a personal appointment. Unfortunately I didn't see his work until after he left and was surprised at the average job of the oven and what seem a very superficial clean of the stove. I rang and complained to the cleaner (he had left his card) who insisted he'd cleaned thoroughly. I then rang the company and they said they would get him to come back and finish the job in the afternoon. I then received a text 20minutes after the appointed time that he was running 90 minutes late! Rather fed up by this stage I decided to cancel the appointment feeling that I didn't want the same cleaner to do another mediocre job. I was offered a discount voucher for another service and thought that was the end of the matter only to have the cleaner turn up on my doorstep protesting that he hadn't receive the cancellation notice! The only reason I have given three stars is for the girls in the office I spoke to who were very helpful and did their best to solve the issue and were most apologetic. Not sure whether I would book another service though.
I hired them for a End of Lease cleaning for my 2 bedroom unit and they did a half-arsed job. They left the top of the cupboard untouched, stains and dust still visible. I did not get my full bond back. My landlord laughed at me and said I got scammed by the cleaners. Seems like I did! I called them up to complain, but all they can give me was a discount voucher for future use. Why would I even want to use them for the next time or recommend them to anyone else? No way. Very dissatisfied.

This company is basically a scam. I have been refunded for the terrible job they did and the extra costs my real estate agent charged for new cleaning... only AFTER I was going to get the ombudsman involved.
I required bond back cleaning. The cleaners turned up 2 hours late for my appointment, despite texting at the time of appointment they would be 30mins late. When I inspected my place afterwards, they had literally done nothing but cleaned my oven. Smear marks were left all over my mirro...rs, no carpet steam clean (as I had booked for), windows hadn't be touched, no vacuum, sinks were not clean. NOTHING. It actually looked worse than it did before and this is really not me being dramatic. I complained, re-booked the cleaners and asked for new ones. They said due to company policy they had to have the same cleaners but with a supervisor. By the time they could clean again the new tenant had moved in (mortifying) and were 2 hours late again for appointment! On the 3rd try they arrived with no supervisor and admitted to the tenant they had not steam cleaned the carpets and didn't do a satisfactory job. My real estate agent charged me for new cleaners (luckily I got my bond back after this). When I asked Paul's Cleaning for a refund they refused to pay anymore than what THEIR own service cost. It wasn't until I said I would take legal action or contact the ombudsman that they agreed to pay the damages of the extra charges from the real estate agent. I have now been fully refunded.
WORSE OVEN BBQ CLEANING EXPERIENCE EVER
Firstly my normal cleaner was booked, so I rang Paul's and I booked a service with a diptank to clean my bbq and oven. Then I got called back to say there was no diptank, however their cleanerS would do an equal if not better job.
On the Saturday a 24 year old student arrived, large bottle of degreaser and a some stainless steel wool in his hand. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and proceded to clean the oven for more than 3 HOURS and then tell me he couldnt do the job and left, leaving a large bottle of degreaser behind and a clea...ning job for myself. At the time I rang the supervisor and explained the problem, and I was told they would organise someone to come on the Tuesday with a dip tank. Now, on Monday night, two days before I have to leave the house for sale, I am refunded my money and told it is not possible to do the cleaning. This is a crazy situation to be in and for $350 I would have expected someone who knew how to actually clean ovens and stoves.
Fraudulent. Paul's Cleaning Sydney does not exist ...in Sydney. It is a made up website and is really Fantastic Services Praham in Melbourne. They put a fake voice on the phone, take your job, your credit card details then fob you off to a 1 star rated company in Blacktown called YS Services. The job I asked was to wash windows. They gave me a price. At no time did Paul's Cleaning mention that I would be directed to Fantastic Services in Melbourne, who then palmed me of to this dreadful YS SERVICES. The 2 "Professional window cleaners" promise...d have scratched all my floor to ceiling windows over looking our beautiful Aussie bush view. .8 double hung windows. .they did not wash them but wiped them in circles with wet cloths. This was done without hosing the windows from outside first. 4 and a half months of no rain in Sydney had meant my windows were covered in dust and grit...the wet rags became sandpaper against my window panes. .leaving dreadfully smeared windows ..the re-do did nothing to change this dreadful result. DO NOT use Paul's Cleaning Sydney, EVER...it's FRAUDULENT.
Acceptable job but could have more attention to detail
Paul's cleaning did an okay job on the focus areas being the kitchen and the toilets. However they could have asked what I would have liked to be thrown and what I would like to have kept. Also if I didn't point out the wardrobes were still dusty it would not have been picked up. The cleaners seemed a bit on the slow side for their hourly rate. All in all an okay job but leaves some room for improvement.
End of lease clean guarantee isn't real
I booked online an end of lease clean as there was a guarantee of a bond refund and that it would be up to the standard of my landlord.
It wasn't and the pictures clearly show this.
I sent these through to Paul's cleaning and have now spoken to three people within their customer service team who have told me that they cannot give me any update on when it would be re-cleaned.
Due to the lack of response and the new tenants moving in they have charged me another professional clean.
I am out of pocket $335. I may have well as left the place uncleaned.
Totally stressed out and devastated to use such an unprofessional company.
Do not use. It's not worth the hassle.
Paul's cleaning Unreliable service
Booked ducted cleaning with this company and they changed the date and time four times!! They took money out of my credit card and can not provide the service!! This company is a S C A M!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

Booked 1 month in advance and made full payment for end of lease bond for tomorrow afternoon 31st July 2017 1pm. They rang and left voice message of cancellation this morning.
So stressful. Luckily found cleaner through real estate agent for Wednesday in last minute.
Not worth it!!
I hired Paul's Cleaning Services for an end of lease cleaning. I told them in advance that there's a lot of pet hair on the carpets that would need to be removed and they told me to not worry about it. The cleaner called me on the day and let me know that they can't get the pet hair out. So I asked for the money back (for the carpets only) so that I can find someone else to clean it. They told me to wait and see what the agent says. Obviously the condition report mentioned the pet hair on the carpets. I called them back and sent them the report...as well. They said they'll come back a second time for re-cleaning, even though I told them that their cleaners told me the first time they won't be able to get the hair out. Two days before the re-cleaning, I used a squeegee for almost 4 hours (with help from family) to get out most of the pet hair out on all the carpets. Again, the cleaner called me on the day and told me it cannot be done - there were no signs of them even attempting to simply vacuum the hair off. So I called again and asked for my money back, since their guarantee is that it "will be accepted by your landlord" - which it wasn't. Then they told to get someone else to clean the carpets, and that I would need before and after photos, an invoice and approval from my agent for the re-cleaning, before I can get my money back. I had to pay $300 for the other company suggested by my agent. So altogether I paid $1069. I only got my money back after I sent them an email with countless evidence including before and after photos, the invoice for the other company, the email from my agent saying the cleaning was approved etc etc. I didn't even get a "sorry" or anything, just a reply of "thank you for the invoice. Your refund will be processed in the next 24 hours". So much hassle for $180. Honestly not worth it. They wasted my time and money. UPDATE: After I posted the review, Paul's Cleaning Services called me back and sincerely apologised for the issue and told me they will compensate me for all the trouble I had to go through (working 4 hours) and hiring a second company. Thank you Paul's Cleaning Services for correcting the issue, I genuinely appreciate it. P.S don't ever underestimate the power of your online voice.
DISGUSTING service and unreliable
Don't bother booking them. They'll charge the "holding fee" off you and then reschedule per their convenience.
We booked for a weekend end of lease cleaning days in advance only to be called on the day to be told the service was unavailable. Don't bother with the "5 star" reviews. I read those too.
My card had been charged 425 and while you're prob going to get that refunded, just know when you reschedule in short notice, you'll be out 100s more and they don't even need to take responsibility for it.
Go elsewhere, you'll end up doing it anyway.

Feel very ripped off by the service given as they refused to comeback after calling them the same day as I wasn’t happy with the service provided. I have now been told its passed the 3-day guarantee and the cleaners refuse to come out to clean the apartment properly and unwilling to cooperate. Will now have to get another cleaning company in to get my bond back as the apartment has failed the end of lease inspection . Waste of money and waste of time.
