Bargains to be had if you have the time
The store is a clearance warehouse. Nothing fancy and it’s layout is an organised chaos. The clothes and shoes available are all unsold/returned clearance outlet clothes from the USA. They may be from last season or go back a few years. The key to shopping here is that you must have lots of time to hunt for the bargain. They sort clothes under style - knits, tshirts, dresses, pants, long sleeve etc. There is minimal size sorting. If you’re after a size 14, you might find it next to a size 26 which might be next to a size 10. There are designer ...items available but you must search them out. I’ve seen the most amazing Gucci boots in the glass cabinet but alas, not in my size. If you’re after a full wardrobe you can find lots of filler items and evening attire. I can’t think of anywhere else in the world where you can buy a beautiful lightweight genuine wool and rayon blend knit autumn top for $3! Of course, there is stuff that isn’t great too (tears in garments, shop soiled) but overall the quality is good. It’s not the most glamourous shopping experience but bargain hunters aren’t after that. Dedicate a few hours to the search and you will be rewarded. The clothes are new, not secondhand. As far as staff being rude as I’ve read in other reviews, I’ve always found them to be courteous even when dealing with rude customers. I don’t like their bag check policy but after the manager explained that it’s random checking, I don’t feel so targeted anymore.
Pauls warehouse prospect. Great.
This store is great but you must go in person. The stock changes often. Goes down in price after a Certain time. I love it. Got winter skirts shoes tops and excellent accessories today. You need to keep an eye on What you want. And need time to look
It is what it is. Can’t expect too much.
Shop was an organised mess and low rent - as expected. Staff were ok and reasonably friendly, not any different from most retailers. It is a bargain warehouse - so not too sure why some people are expecting a fancy shop. (That out of the way).
The trick with this place is to make sure you know what you like and look very carefully. Genuine and honest bargains to be had. Found the place to be great for kids, office and semi formal wear.
No problems with returns either.
Not sure if shoes are authentic
Purchased 8 pairs of shoes from the sunshine store for the growing kids. Everyone fell apart within a few months. I thought it was because my kids were getting out and playing so I didn’t mind. I was actually proud that they were not the useless house bound variety children so I didn’t think much of it. My wife purchased the same brand and style of shoe from the local shoe shop, (we always get the youngest one shoes from this shop because of ...... favouritism), to replace the ones I had obtained from Paul’s warehouse as they wore out. Only pro...blem was the replacement shoes seemed bulletproof by comparison. The kids out grew them not out wore them. I’m not going to say that the shoes are inferior quality but they didn’t last as long as the same ones from the local shoe shop for some reason.
Shocking customer Service
I have now been to Pauls warehouse Sunshine thrice. All three times I have witnessed the lady (Caucasian, dark hair) on the check out’s horrible, horrible behaviour. First time customers were waiting to be served and she was chatting with a friend for 8 minutes before deciding to say ‘next’. The second time my husband and I visited and there was something wrong with the pricing, she literally told the girl on the checkout, give it to them at the price they’ve said (cause she knew we were right) I don’t want to have this conversation!! Today 28.../02 I went there in the morning and was being served by another staff member, when an African man cane by to exchange a pair of blue Adidas kids shoes, which he said he had bought y’day. OMG she literally told him he was lying(even though he showed her the receipt) and called him STUPID! This lady needs to realise that she is in that job ONLY because customers visit the store. I’m sure she would never have called a white person a liar or stupid. She should be sacked. The man was able to exchange the shoes only because the other CS person told her that the request was reasonable. She is a disgrace. Please do something and get better staff.
Questions & Answers
Hi guys!!! Are you still selling Vans???
** DEFINITE SCAM **
Same as everybody else - got socks - have advised Paypal but obviously everybody else have done this as well. $90 is a lot in these time to loose so still have fingers crossed that paypal will refund, surely paypal needs to put an alert so no more payments are made through. Wish I had seen this website sooner - another victim.
