Rude, patronizing and unprofessional
After several applications did not receive a single call and did not receive a call after leaving a message. When I called again consultant was rude, patronising and judgmental. When I asked why I didn't get a callback, she responded how she works 12 hours per day and how she was busy handling 32 job applications. So when I responded that this meant she was busy helping 32 other people and could not find the time to call me, she then continued claiming I was not listening what she was saying and proceeded with giving me advice how I should take...it into my own hands and send the applications directly to the employer. I was terribly offended. I did send the applications directly to the employer in addition to this and other agencies and was simply following up on my applications. It was strange that I was contacted by the other agencies and not once by this one. I asked the consultant to put me through to speak with her manager and she refused. I asked for the name of her manager and she refused to give me the name of her manager and said how her manager will call me back. For someone who does not know me, a presumption that she should be giving an advice without knowing someone is and was very patronising. For a consultant who works in the recruitment to say that the applicant should look for a job elsewhere and that in 12 hours of work she could not find time to call me back, it does say a lot about how much that consultant wishes to be in her position. There was no apology, nothing. I did get a call from her manager, who was protective of her consultant and dismissive of what I was saying. What I said there is what happened. They lack the insight and how poorly I was treated and it is no wonder why they have someone who cannot manage her workload that this kind of rudeness could be expected. This place, PCA People should be avoided at any cost.
