Kalkhoff Impulse 2 Agattu
Im the proud owner of a Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse 2 2017 model with an 11ah battery .Supposedly the problems with the earlier motors has been resolve but only by changing the software and lubrication so far so good only time will tell.why australia didnt get the Bosch motor like the UA makes me wonder.
The product is well made all round qualitu excellent and the ride leaves my old Gazelle front hub for dead .The only dissapointment is the range and on sport power Im lucky to get 45 kms on flat ground I havnt tested the range just on E...
If you want a way overpriced bike that has endless problems from poeole how have no idea then sure waste your time and money buying a proprietary bike like Kalkhoff. After mine spent most of the time in the shop I sold it at a loss just so I could move on from the bad experience. If your looking for an eletric bike get a bike your comfortable with and then get a retro fitted motor, there’s a bike shop in Fremantle that will do it for you for a fraction of the cost. It’s faster, quieter, more efficient and mostly significantly cheaper. And here’...s the real warning to prospective Kalkhoff buyers the Evo and Impulse motors are faulty I went through 3 of them in a year! https://electricbikereview.com/forum/threads/known-issues-problems-with-kalkhoff-products-help-solutions-fixes.13164/#post-139493 Happy bike hunting - I recommended something else somewhere else.
