While the range, marketing and customer service is second to none, the quality is abysmal. The material is cheap, mostly synthetic. The stitching is sloppy. And if you are lucky enough to find something that looks decent, you'd probably only get limited wear out of it. The products look way better on the website than they do online, its a real expectations vs reality fail situation. Its also disappointing that the models are a size 6-8, I think the owners need to consider the diversity of shape and size that they might be catering to. I bought two dresses and ended up returning both. I wish money back was still an option because I'd really rather not have to try a third item, I'm tempted to just part with the store credit and call it a day!

Returns policy is frustrating
Ordered a dress, tried on didn’t suit, wanted to return and try to find something a little nicer on me for work party and can only exchange or get store credit, this is quite frankly ridiculous and rude. If the tags are attached, packaging in tact, no rips, marks or tears, you should return with an actual refund, most online stores do this, sad that petal and pup don’t do this. I wouldn’t recommend this or buying from here if you aren’t 100% sure on an item.
Poor quality fast fashion
Order arrived quickly however was terrible quality for the price paid. I ordered pants that were made from cheap, see through material. Dress was ill fitting and poor quality. I’m now stuck with a store credit after having to pay to return the items and not wishing to purchase anything further. Very disappointing, I do not recommend this store.
Great clothes but terrible returns policy
Always love the clothes from Petal and Pup, good price and style. However their returns policy is really disappointing. Navigating a return on their website is hard to do and it took over 24 hours for a returns label to be emailed to me. I was charged $9.95 for the return! I feel this is alot considering I was returning a $50 item. I will now reconsider buying from Petal and Pup again and choose other suppliers that offer low or no cost returns.
I ordered a dress that has a beautiful design but unfortunately had very poor stitching and threads were opening up. I contacted customer service and they were happy to pay for a return label and send out a new one. A week and a half later they received the old dress and I received a new one.

Poor Customer Service
Petal and Pup sent me a dress that absolutely reeked of foul perfume and body odour. It had clearly been worn and then returned. I wonder why they allowed it to be resold. Anyway. I had to email them four times to arrange for a postage return label so I could send the item back. Almost three weeks later, I am still waiting for my refund.....would not recommend and would not purchase here again. Their returns policy is also not great. Credit notes, not refunds, for an online store where you can't try things on is poor form in this day and age.

I ordered a few dresses for my sisters wedding when I receive them they were very different colours and quality to the picture. I’m so disheartened. I am in the process of sending them back now and after reading other peoples reviews I am terrified of how this will play out. I have spent a considerable amount of money with this website and it appears that they do not offer refunds only store credit, which I feel needs to be very clear to the consumer before and as they are buying from this website - not written in tiny writing and ...trapping their customers. when I emailed the company informing them I wish to return my items and to ask for some more clarity on the refund process they simply told me my refund will be emailed to me and to check my junk folder - how can you email a refund? Store credit is NOT a refund. If I’m returning items I do not want store credit - I want my money back. *update* this entire process has cost me money. Whilst the messages have been very nice, they’ve also been very unhelpful. I have 0 product and a lot of stress. Here is the only proof of purchase I can provide as I’ve sent everything back. I’m now having to phone my bank and citizens advice bureau to come to some resolution to actually get my money back. I’ve lost out on a large amount of money. I feel so silly for not reading reviews, don’t make my mistake!
I am appalled at this company
I have tried to return several items and had to pay $15 to return each of those items separately. I still haven't received a response in relation to where my refund or credit note is at and I have sent 5 emails to this company so far. The material is so cheap and the quality is poor for their clothing.
Crap online shopping experience ever
Receive faulty items and once I brought it up with them they took days to respond. So every email took forever to be responded to. Been over a month and yet to receive my refund even tho clothes were sent back weeks ago. Even the customer service team were rude and unhelpful. If I could give minus stars I would. Wouldn’t recommend shopping at this brand at all. The quality of clothes were crap so bad would much rather to shop at Kmart and get 100% more stuff for that price they are charging.
I made a large order and was excited to receive my new pieces. As other customers stated, the clothes runs small and bit inconsistent. Unfortunately, most of the items did not fit or didn’t fit well and I had to return them. The return took over 5 weeks to make itself back to Australia. Throughout this time I was exchanging emails with a customer service rep, and when I followed up after they had received my items for about a week, the customer service rep stopped writing back. I have sent multiple follow up emails and no response. I put in a n...ew inquiry in their customer service page, and still no answer. It is now almost two weeks since they received my items and they haven't issued me a refund or written back. Will be performing a charge back on my credit card. They’re a bunch of thieves!
Bad Costumer Service: Poor quality in clothes
The quality of the clothes were pretty bad material, cheaply made. I returned all of my items a month ago and still have yet to receive even an email back or a credit to my account. I am really disappointed, I wish I could have my money back instead of store credit. Ii would probably never shop here again and warn you from doing the same.
Bad quality dress. Customer service and returns extremely slow.
Ordered a dress and pair of shoes. My first order with Petal and Pup. The order processing time is little slower than what I've become accustomed to with like-for-like competitors (Amaroso are much faster on delivery and processing returns). The dress was very poor quality for $89.95! Also had a fault in the sleeves and looked very different from the photos - I was hoping to wear this to an informal wedding however the dress looks and feels extremely cheap and tacky. The likes of Valley Girl have better quality similar dresses for a quarter of ...the price. The shoes were way too big and wide for my size 8 feet and overpriced for $49.95. I decided to return both items and hope for better quality products - hopefully the photos next time I order are actually a true indication of the product. Paid for postage to have returned. Checked the other day and the parcel had arrived to Petal and Pup Monday morning at 8am, nearly 5 working days ago. Again, I have been accustomed to returns being processed within 1-2 days. Apparently it can take 6 working days to process a return which is pretty ridiculous. Really Petal and Pup need to pick up their game otherwise they won't be around for much longer. There is only so long you can scam people. If I had known the quality of products, I would never have purchased. Ideally I would like a refund but apparently that is against store policy, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Poor Quality & Customer Service
Very disappointed. I am happy to pay $60 for good quality pants (not including shipping) however they were anything but. I was then told that I needed to return the dress (even though I ordered pants) for a credit note. The elastic was completely worn after one use and cannot be repurposed unless new elastic is added. As I wore the pants I cannot return them with the return slip as clearly, after wearing them, I disposed of it. The emails are clearly not personalised whatsoever and the standard form creates unnecessary confusion and frustration. I will not be purchasing again and will advice my followers against doing so also.

I made multiple purchases in one order and the material of the dresses I received were not as what they showed, described and looked like on the site: it looked cheap and flimsy and the size was way off even though it was the size I usually always wear. I sent quite a number of emails about this to the company to no avail; it was my fault that I had misunderstood the material-type.
I returned the product on the same day as delivery and to my surprise received st...ore credit. Little did I know that this store credit was only valid for 6 months. The problem with a store credit expiry to a store that permanently has sold out of every item you want is that you can hardly make a purchase of anything! Hence, all of my money expired. Gone to Petal & Pup for nothing. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a large online company has such a terrible return policy and store credit expiry. Not good. Very disappointed customer. Will definitely not be back again.
