Poor quality :(
I first saw Petal & Pup on an Instagram feed and it all looked really pretty and stylish, I got the impression that it is good quality, trendy clothing but I am quite disappointed with the quality. I ordered a PU leather jacket, a cardigan and a playsuit. The PU leather jacket looks okay, but it is very shiny and it has a a bad smell. The cardigan had a dangly button, I had to sew it back properly before even wearing it. The playsuit I'll admit is up to scratch, but I don't think I'll buy here again unfortunately, I paid a lot of money for these items and I feel ripped off. After reading that they only offer store credit, I'm not sure there is much hope of getting my money back. What a waste of my splurge money :(
Prompt service, but disappointing products.
My first order was a $100 dress that appeared “orange” online and was advertised as “orange”, but when it arrived, it was not “orange” but rather a “rust/brown” colour. It cost $9.95 postage to order the dress and another $9.95 in postage to return it. The store credit was very prompt, so I ordered two winter tops as replacement products. When they arrived, they were not true to size and were huge. Another $9.95 to return the products and once again the credit was promptly applied. • Poor quality clothing
• Never true to size
• No refund available, only a credit note that is valid for 6 months after purchase
• All photos on their site/social media are photoshopped and the clothing you see is NOT what will be delivered !!
• Comments made on social media about their clothes are often deleted. You can tell when there are only 3 positive comments under a photo when they have that many “followers” on social media. Their followers are all bought !
• Please don’t waste your money on petal and pup - they are a scam !

Very poor quality dress, completely see-through. I paid $68.90 including shipping and the returns policy states I would need to pay a return fee. For the price I paid I expected good quality material. I won't be shopping with this brand again.

I purchased a few things from the website thinking they looked amazing online. Got my mom a few things too.
Both blouses I purchased were so far from the product photos. The wear and fit of it was just so off (which can be understandable because of different body types) but the material of both was just ugh. Like a $1 ikea tea towel dyed in black honestly.

Items are often not as good quality as pictured
I have bought many items from petal and pup. The items are usually poorer quality than I’d expect. The way the material and cut looks in the photos is often misleading. The clothes often turn out to be very thin and flimsy. Sizing also generally runs larger than standard. The prices are above average, which I don’t mind at the time of purchase because I think I am ordering something decent quality. But be careful what you choose to buy, because it can be a hit and miss.

Sizing is China sizing, not western sizing
I’m a western (Australian) size 10-12 (which isn’t large) but in this “brands” clothes I am a 16, their largest size (which in the western world is pretty big). These clothes are made for the market they are made in...China. There’s no room for boobs or butts. Straight up and down skinny women.
Clothing is not high quality. It’s cheap fabric and cheaply made. One wash and you’ve lost the shape of the garment and the fabric looks totally different.

Can’t really give much of a rating for petal and pup. I’ve spent more returning items and selling myself another that was just poor quality. The sizing is very inconsistent and paying to return an item and store credit rather than refunds in 2020 is a bit ridiculous. The customer service is really good though and the people are helpful.

Poor quality clothing and sizing runs small. They are just reselling clothing brands. Clothing is super thin and see through. Feels like something you could find at Supre but with a $$$ price tag. None of the clothing I bought was wearable and will be basically going into the garbage. They do not offer refunds and return shipping is at your expense.

Bad quality
I ordered the 'napier skirt' in white, the skirt is completely different to what it looks like online, when I received it the seams were coming un-done and looked like an unfinished job. I would not recommend shopping here, completely overpriced for extremely disappointing quality. I didn't send it back, as they don't offer refunds which is also entirely ridiculous. Do not waste your money here.

For the top end online pricing, the quality of these clothes are pretty ordinary.
They are made by brands that are sold in market style shops for a fraction of the price. I have just found the same dress that is $79.95 with P&P for $13.95 with Shein and it is the same label, same terrible quality material.
I have had to return products 3 times due to the sizing and terrible quality and was given a voucher each time but really, it would appear that I actually wanted a refund but it isn't an option. I now have 2 dresses that I will never wear that set me back about $150 in total.
It's a shame that you can't see the label before you buy from P&P.

Can only get store credit (not obvious) when returning clothes so I’m ordering clothes and sending them back which can’t be good for the environment? Poor quality and bad fit
I have ordered 3 items from them now and unfortunately one has been worse than the other. Im a fairly standard size person. Slim fit 158cm tall. Usually fit anything from 6-10.. my first order i got 2 dresses. One was totally transparent the other had very poor stitching which looked horrible. Returned both but for the unlined dress they would only give store credit as the website says that the dress is unlined however on the photos the dress does not look transparent. 6 months later they wanted to take that money from me as the credit expires ...

I ordered two dresses and one top and they are clearly all from different and dodgy manufacturers based on their tags. The quality is shockingly cheap and the sizing is off. A size 8 is normal for me but these pieces make me feel like I need to go down 2 sizes! Definitely not shopping here again especially given this cheap quality and expensive prices!
