I bought four items from Petal and Pup just over a month ago. 2 of the four items have already fallen apart. I bought the ‘Cisco’ top in beige and the seams completely fell apart after my second wear and it hadn’t even been put in the washing machine yet! I am a tiny person and bought a S/M so there is absolutely no reason the seams should have come apart and unstitched. It is completely unwearable now, which is a shame because I absolutely loved the top. As for the other item, I bought a pair of earrings and they too broke. Luckily I was able to fix those, but the top unfortunately not. I would expect this to happen to a top I had worn for months or years not for a top i’d worn only twice.

Happy with the dresses I bought although both were on the short side even for my height. Went to wash one, followed the instructions and was disappointed to see it shrunk to the point where I couldn't wear it out again.

I ordered a S and 8 in various pairs of pants and they are huge! I’m usually a 8-10 so a S shouldn’t be falling off me. I also accidentally ordered a size 6 in a top (my fault) which I couldn’t get over my head. Going by the pants size you would think a 6 would be a better size.
I spent quite a lot and now I have a store voucher from my refund which I won’t using. Pretty bad not offering refunds on an internet clothing brand. Sad I spent so much in my first order.

Should offer free returns or refunds being an online only store
I think if this store offered free return shipping or refunds they would get more sales. I know Atleast 5 people who refuse to shop here because of the out of pocket cost for returns. When you don’t have the ability to try something on in store you potentially could be out of pocket several times for return postage. I don’t believe that’s fair. Other companies like The iconic and ASOS are far more buyer friendly due to their return options. You can’t even drop items to their warehouse. I think petal and pup need to look into this issue to make shopping with them more desirable.
Items are not pictured AT ALL. Sizing is a bit off and material feels so cheap. Highly unlikely to buy again
I purchased a few things from the website thinking they looked amazing online. Got my mom a few things too.
Both blouses I purchased were so far from the product photos. The wear and fit of it was just so off (which can be understandable because of different body types) but the material of both was just ugh. Like a $1 ikea tea towel dyed in black honestly.
Other than the top, the quality of one of the dresses I purchased was just plain cheap. I feel like every zip-up was one zip-up closer to its seams ripping. It fits perfectly but the zippe...r and material was just poor in quality that I have to keep tugging a few times just for it to close. Final nail on the coffin: I’d return it but I have to shoulder the return fee Just for them to give you store credits (NO REFUNDS!!!!) what a joke
Items are often not as good quality as pictured
I have bought many items from petal and pup. The items are usually poorer quality than I’d expect. The way the material and cut looks in the photos is often misleading. The clothes often turn out to be very thin and flimsy. Sizing also generally runs larger than standard. The prices are above average, which I don’t mind at the time of purchase because I think I am ordering something decent quality. But be careful what you choose to buy, because it can be a hit and miss.
Quality of the material is not the best
Clothes are ok, you can tell the quality isn’t the best for the prices you pay. The material is really thin and I thought they would be of better quality when looking through the site. Wouldn’t purchase again, would go elsewhere for better quality material.
Can’t really give much of a rating for petal and pup. I’ve spent more returning items and selling myself another that was just poor quality. The sizing is very inconsistent and paying to return an item and store credit rather than refunds in 2020 is a bit ridiculous. The customer service is really good though and the people are helpful.
Products on aliexpress
Bought 2 items. Today I went on aliexpress and came across the identical items for a third of the price. Now I'm regretful. Jump on Aliexpress (china site) instead I saw many of their designs on there soooo much cheaper.
I love my Jemima knits, so much that I have bought several different colours. They are so soft. Being oversize they are larger around the neck/shoulders than usual so I had to go down to an S/M from an M/L, but they are gorgeous jumpers
The Largo dress in pink is such a pretty dress. Very versatile, can be worn with or without self tie. Very comfortable to wear and the sleeves are the perfect length
I ordered the 'napier skirt' in white, the skirt is completely different to what it looks like online, when I received it the seams were coming un-done and looked like an unfinished job. I would not recommend shopping here, completely overpriced for extremely disappointing quality. I didn't send it back, as they don't offer refunds which is also entirely ridiculous. Do not waste your money here.

I have always found the customer service to be lovely , timely , positive and helpful in all dealings I have had with Petal and Pup. The most recent was with Jake.
Cute dresses but overpriced for the quality
Super fast next day delivery which I wasn’t expecting! The dresses are cute but I’d compare the quality to be in line with dresses from cotton on however the prices are more in line with Witchery. I’m glad that one of my dresses was on sale, if I had paid full price for both I would have felt ripped off.
Terrible quality for the price and no ability to be refunded
For the top end online pricing, the quality of these clothes are pretty ordinary.
They are made by brands that are sold in market style shops for a fraction of the price. I have just found the same dress that is $79.95 with P&P for $13.95 with Shein and it is the same label, same terrible quality material.
I have had to return products 3 times due to the sizing and terrible quality and was given a voucher each time but really, it would appear that I actually wanted a refund but it isn't an option. I now have 2 dresses that I will never wear that set me back about $150 in total.
It's a shame that you can't see the label before you buy from P&P.
Ok but wouldn't buy again
Shopping was quick and easy and the dress is quite similar to advertised, however for the top range price I was expecting great quality rather than cheap mass produced rubbish. Sizing also quite small and has random not ‘petal and pup’ labels
Best get a bigger size
Loved the variety of clothing pieces, the material, the colours, the brand, the website, customer service but when washed they shrunk a size or two, important to read every label
Nice dresses, but poor quality and pricey!
I was so excited to receive my order from petal and pup today. The clothes arrived very quickly, which was awesome, but upon trying on the dresses, while the designs were cute the quality was terrible! They use very thin materials and the colours of the fabric were dull (nothing like the photos online). For the price paid I can’t see myself purchasing from here again!
This is the second time I have shopped with Petal and Pup and I am disappointed. The dress I previously bought in a size ten according to the size description was way too small! Material was also poor. I then reluctantly returned for a store credit where I bought a casual short dress and a midi dress. I kept the short dress although not too happy with material. But the Midi, also a size ten was ridiculously large. I ended up selling this on EBay as I did not want to waste the money paying for the postage back and getting another store credit. ...Just recently I thought I would retry, I bought a midi dress. Material is terrible and the sizing description was wrong so as per my previous issues I went with my usual size which is an 8... to small! The company should consider being competitive and offering full refunds. Particularly because most dresses are overpriced for their quality. I’ll be sticking with the iconic and I will not make the mistake of shopping with Petal and Pup again.
Quality has deteriorated recently
I have probably bought about 20 dresses from petal and pup over the years but recently the quality has really deteriorated. I am extremely particular about following care instructions but despite this three of my recent dress purchases have shrunk a lot and no longer fit. One dress I have only worn three times and washed once, and the fabric is fraying on the straps. I used to love petal and pup but won’t be shopping there anymore - the quality and reliability is now very poor.
