Don't bother
While the range, marketing and customer service is second to none, the quality is abysmal. The material is cheap, mostly synthetic. The stitching is sloppy. And if you are lucky enough to find something that looks decent, you'd probably only get limited wear out of it. The products look way better on the website than they do online, its a real expectations vs reality fail situation. Its also disappointing that the models are a size 6-8, I think the owners need to consider the diversity of shape and size that they might be catering to. I bought two dresses and ended up returning both. I wish money back was still an option because I'd really rather not have to try a third item, I'm tempted to just part with the store credit and call it a day!

I really liked majority of the clothes and the ease in use of the website so I thought with same day delivery if ordered before 10am, I may aswell. I ordered a dress and didn't like it so lodged a return and had to pay $10 which is way too high in my opinion. Secondly, making most dresses $99 and then offering free freight over $100 is cruel. Trying to find anything under $10 is also pretty much impossible. Again, had to buy a nasty $5 clearance necklace (literally all they had that was less than $10 on the website) but it did come same day and this dress is a lot better than the previous one however I am only keeping it instead of swapping it for yet another one because I refuse to spend $30 on just sending/trying the dresses on... Petal and Pup sent me a dress that absolutely reeked of foul perfume and body odour. It had clearly been worn and then returned. I wonder why they allowed it to be resold. Anyway. I had to email them four times to arrange for a postage return label so I could send the item back. Almost three weeks later, I am still waiting for my refund.....would not recommend and would not purchase here again. Their returns policy is also not great. Credit notes, not refunds, for an online store where you can't try things on is poor form in this day and age.

We also recognize the need for improvement around our alternative return options such as refunds. Since we only offer store credit on returns, the refund option is reserved for those occasions when we've missed the bar. I'm happy to say this does not happen often but there are areas of inefficiency impacting this process, areas that we are working on improving currently.I am appalled at this company
I have tried to return several items and had to pay $15 to return each of those items separately. I still haven't received a response in relation to where my refund or credit note is at and I have sent 5 emails to this company so far. The material is so cheap and the quality is poor for their clothing.

Super cheap material
Completely unsatisfied with the three dresses I recently brought from petal and pup.
The delivery was fast which is unusual for my remote town but I was severely let down by the quality of the clothes. I will be returning all. For $100 a dress i was expecting better material. The white dress I brought is completely see through. Very disappointed and I will not be a returning customer nor will I recommend this site to others.

Should offer free returns or refunds being an online only store
I think if this store offered free return shipping or refunds they would get more sales. I know Atleast 5 people who refuse to shop here because of the out of pocket cost for returns. When you don’t have the ability to try something on in store you potentially could be out of pocket several times for return postage. I don’t believe that’s fair. Other companies like The iconic and ASOS are far more buyer friendly due to their return options. You can’t even drop items to their warehouse. I think petal and pup need to look into this issue to make shopping with them more desirable.

Ordered some jeans and they are not even stitched up properly (unstitched along the bottom). I didn't realise that you couldn't even get a refund because when clicking on the return page it says returns are permitted so I assumed it included refunds. Upset because I was banking on them looking nice.

Cute dresses but overpriced for the quality
Super fast next day delivery which I wasn’t expecting! The dresses are cute but I’d compare the quality to be in line with dresses from cotton on however the prices are more in line with Witchery. I’m glad that one of my dresses was on sale, if I had paid full price for both I would have felt ripped off.

Nice dresses, but poor quality and pricey!
I was so excited to receive my order from petal and pup today. The clothes arrived very quickly, which was awesome, but upon trying on the dresses, while the designs were cute the quality was terrible! They use very thin materials and the colours of the fabric were dull (nothing like the photos online). For the price paid I can’t see myself purchasing from here again!

I have probably bought about 20 dresses from petal and pup over the years but recently the quality has really deteriorated. I am extremely particular about following care instructions but despite this three of my recent dress purchases have shrunk a lot and no longer fit. One dress I have only worn three times and washed once, and the fabric is fraying on the straps. I used to love petal and pup but won’t be shopping there anymore - the quality and reliability is now very poor.

Poor Quality & Customer Service
Very disappointed. I am happy to pay $60 for good quality pants (not including shipping) however they were anything but. I was then told that I needed to return the dress (even though I ordered pants) for a credit note. The elastic was completely worn after one use and cannot be repurposed unless new elastic is added. As I wore the pants I cannot return them with the return slip as clearly, after wearing them, I disposed of it. The emails are clearly not personalised whatsoever and the standard form creates unnecessary confusion and frustration. I will not be purchasing again and will advice my followers against doing so also.

Zip broke after first wear & shrunk a LOT after a cool hand wash (as instructed)
I bought a dress for my partners graduation, it looked well, not as well as it had looked on the website but it tends to be that way with most clothes!
I wore the dress once and cool hand-washed as per the care instructions (I also dried the dress as per these instructions)
I went to wear my dress for the second time this weekend and the zip had derailed?
The length of the dress is midi to the calf and has now shrunk to just below the knee... It is terrible quality and I am so disappointed as it looked so pretty online :(

Bought 4 dresses. Wore two and washed according to instructions. Once washed the garments shrunk upwards and they were too short to wear. Requested refund but they said they would not refund and because they were washed it meant that I wasn't eligible for anything. They said just this once they would give me store credit but I argued that the garments were of very poor quality and were faulty. They sent me a credit note for over $200 and now I just feel like they are holding my money hostage. I never want to buy anything from the brand ever again knowing that the garments will shrink to an unwearable size! Crazy how companies can get away with this. Especially when buying online and never knowing the quality until its in your hands.
