Great clothes but terrible returns policy
Always love the clothes from Petal and Pup, good price and style. However their returns policy is really disappointing. Navigating a return on their website is hard to do and it took over 24 hours for a returns label to be emailed to me. I was charged $9.95 for the return! I feel this is alot considering I was returning a $50 item. I will now reconsider buying from Petal and Pup again and choose other suppliers that offer low or no cost returns.
First time buyer
First time using Petal & Pup and definitely intend to use again. Satisfied with the lovely items I bought, unfortunately had to return one to be exchanged. The return process was easy to navigate and when some delays occurred, the team was very responsive and eager to assist. Everyone I spoke with or was involved in the process was friendly and helpful.
I ordered a dress that has a beautiful design but unfortunately had very poor stitching and threads were opening up. I contacted customer service and they were happy to pay for a return label and send out a new one. A week and a half later they received the old dress and I received a new one.
Again poor poor stitching and opening threads. It looked very similar to the dress I returned back to them but I can´t be sure. I didn´t want to go through the hassle again emailing back and forth but I still let them know that the new dress has the same ...
Excellent Customer Service, Ok quality
P&P has really cute clothes but the prices are too high in my opinion. To be quite fair, every piece of clothing regardless of retailer is marked-up dramatically! I do think that their sizes are slightly inconsistent depending on the item but they have made a solid effort to note when items fit smaller or larger than expected. I have only ordered twice - once earlier in the year and once in the last week. I do think the quality of the clothes seems much lower since my original order. In my recent order, some of the clothes had a strong chemical...scent, hems were not consistent, threads coming undone, or very sheer. I think the inconsistent quality and chemical odor is typical of any large-scale production out of China, perhaps they have switched manufacturers. I can't comment on the life of the clothes as we're still working from home and limited activities where I live due to COVID, so I haven't worn or washed them as I would normally. Their customer service is excellent as other reviewers have noted. I have always been extremely satisfied with the quick turnaround time for shipping, contact for service issues, and return credits. I do wish they offered free return shipping but I understand that this leads to many items being returned in poor condition (worn, stained, etc.). All in all it's a very nice site with really sweet employees! They do have sales very often. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a cute outfit < $100 USD.
Prompt service, but disappointing products.
My first order was a $100 dress that appeared “orange” online and was advertised as “orange”, but when it arrived, it was not “orange” but rather a “rust/brown” colour. It cost $9.95 postage to order the dress and another $9.95 in postage to return it. The store credit was very prompt, so I ordered two winter tops as replacement products. When they arrived, they were not true to size and were huge. Another $9.95 to return the products and once again the credit was promptly applied. I ordered another two different tops and they arrived yesterday.... Once again the colours and cut were not remotely like the colour and cut in the online photos. I’m not prepared to waste another $9.95 to get another store credit. I’ll donate the clothes to charity. Three orders and not one as advertised… Not a great experience when you can’t get a full refund.
Zipper won’t stay up. Cheap fabric
I ordered the “corduroy” slacks and although the style is cute the fabric feels weak and the zipper will not stay up! I can’t walk for a minute without the zipper coming down. Disappointed as they were not cheap.

I love the clothes I purchased and received from Petal and Pup! They have very good communication and customer service in terms of returning items also.
I would buy with them again
I bought a dress that doesn’t fit at all, also I didn’t like the material. I requested a return label + refund and Friona assisted me with a lovely attitude. I believe the company is trying to offer a better service and I would definitely buy with them again.
Sizing was really off
I ordered the brown Corduroy pants. I’m usually a size 10-12 but seeing as it said they run large I stuck to the 10. They were soooooo big. Like almost 2 sizes too big.... I am literally never a size 8 let alone 6.
The pants themselves were nice and the quality was fine, just be aware of sizing down when you order. Super confusing and really not in line with normal sizing.
This is the only time I’ve ordered from here so I can’t say that all of their items are like this. I do know people who love this ship so that’s gotta mean something.
I also wish they would use more sustainable shipping bags, so many companies are doing it now. Hate the waste.
Plus side, shipping was quick!
I bought four items from Petal and Pup just over a month ago. 2 of the four items have already fallen apart. I bought the ‘Cisco’ top in beige and the seams completely fell apart after my second wear and it hadn’t even been put in the washing machine yet! I am a tiny person and bought a S/M so there is absolutely no reason the seams should have come apart and unstitched. It is completely unwearable now, which is a shame because I absolutely loved the top. As for the other item, I bought a pair of earrings and they too broke. Luckily I was able to fix those, but the top unfortunately not. I would expect this to happen to a top I had worn for months or years not for a top i’d worn only twice.
Sizing varies so much between items and you have to pay for every return.
I find the sizing to be all over the place. Ordered two dresses that were size 10 and one is very oversized. It stings to have to pay $10 for a return every time. I know lots of people who refuse to shop here for that reason.
I had to pay to return items before due to them not being great quality and now paying to return items again due to sizing issues.
Also they don’t offer refunds which means you can get it to an endless cycle or paying and returning and end up spending heaps on returns!
I also find the quality very mediocre for the price.

Sizing too large
I usually love petal and pup and have ordered quite a few things off them, their customer service and delivery is super fast. But lately I have ordered two Dresses in a size 6 and they have come too large. Size 6 always fits me well and two dresses I’ve order from them in the past fit great. But I’ve been super disappointed with the last two I’ve ordered. They have fit me like a size 10.
First class customer service!
Good quality clothing considering the prices. I like the variety of designs, colour options and the fit of the two dresses that I received. I received my order within 2 days, however, one had a faulty zipper. Fiona from the customer service team was incredible!! Arranged for a speedy refund and was an absolute delight to deal with! I will definitely shop with Petal and Pup again, mainly because of how amazing Fiona was :)
