peugeot 307 2007
Nothing but problem after problem. Low klms full service history.. faulty cam sensor. Faulty lambda sensor .. faulty injector 4 .. faulty exhaust.. faulty engine mounts.. faulty gearbox mounts .. faulty faulty faulty. Waste of money and every peugeot dealer wants to overcharge on service and spare parts. Unreliable vehicle and unprofessional service from peugeot.
The spare tyre set up is disastrous I am unable to lower the tyre myself as both times it has become stuck and then when lowered the cable has snapped and it costs a few hundred each time to have it fixed meaning that the tyre takes up most of the boot while I wait for the parts to come in to fix it. I HATE this car and I think it is ugly too-the quality is so poor I wonder where it is made? Must say though have had many different cars incl BMW and Mercedes and it has the most comfortable seats I've ever had.
drives well, very comfortable seat...
I also own a Ford XR6 Turbo that I bought new and have had zero troubles with it in three years. If I could go back in time I would have bought a 4 CYL ford instead of this peugeot. The car is a practical economical vehicle and would be an excellent car if build quality was improved. Next time I may even consider a German car but have definately been turned off French cars for life. Dealer seems to be quietly aware of all the problems but keeps tight lipped. Will keep it for two years and trade in. Will Keep XR6 Turbo for as long as I can
