Great pram – Great pram. Robust. Incredibly handy. It is not a lightweight stroller for a in and outdash to the shops. This is a daytripper. Load the kids up with ALL the required acuetrements and go. A life changer. Prepare to keep this for a long time. Festivals. Beach trips. Hikes. Big long sleeps. A tad clumsy folding but not a design fault. Fit for purpose.

Stay away from this pram! Horrible – Where do I start. The fact that there seems to be a running theme with the back wheels is a huge issue, we have had to buy a new back wheel as it buckles and the tire pops out ( I stopped using it for fear of being stranded with two children and no wheels) and secondly... why do you have to buy everything separately in order to have a functional… Read more

pram? Having come from owning a Maclaren that comes with absolutely everything a pram might need to be road ready, Phil and Teds hammerhead was a huge disappointment. Also its SO heavy I can't actually lift it in or out of the boot by myself. I ask.... what is the point? Fits through doors - Back wheels design defect - having to buy heaps of little things for it to be functional- the seats dont recline properly- when they do recline is with this string which is painfully long and you cant adjust single handedly- too heavy to lift for just one small woman

Great double pram! – We tried every double pram before buying the Hammerhead - we put 2 toddlers in about 20 different prams and the Hammerhead was definitely the winner in terms of stability and steering! I love the capsule attachment and I think the quick unfold is great too! We've replaced a few tyres - wish they'd bring out ones that don't puncture! But we… Read more

found cheaper replacement tubes at a bike shop and stocked up. Stability and good steering The air filled tyres are outdated.

Loved it to start with but it's not steering as well as bubs gets heavier – We use the pram almost daily and it served us very well until now (bubs is nearly 6 months). However as she gets heavier it is getting harder to steer the pram for some reason. The only thing I can think of is because there is not enough weight on the front two wheels because her weight is more towards the rear. It's very sturdy and doesn't tip… Read more

when going over curbs like 3 wheelers can do. It is not as wide as the other 4 wheelers on the market, so it is okay to push through any checkout. I wouldn't call it light, but I can get it in and out of the car easily enough on my own and it fits into the hatch of a Hyundai I30 easily. A little heavy and is getting harder to steer as bub gets heavier. The storage underneath is smaller than a lot of other prams.

Never Again – Had a few issues with this pram (mainly the brakes, which were apparently repaired under recall) I will skip straight to the straw that broke this camels back: One day out of the blue one of the rear tyres popped off the wheel - which in turn buckled the wheel. After many phone calls Phil & Ted's "arranged" to have our pram sent in to Baby Bunting… Read more

to be replaced with an entirely different pram. Couple of days later we get a call saying our pram is fixed - they put a screw in the handle where one was missing, fixed the wheel and brakes, and proceded to accuse us of keeping the pram in the hot car which is what buckled the wheel - when we said no it stays in the house they then told us that it must be too hot inside the house? After cracking the poos we ended up driving down to pick up our pram only to find that the wheel was flat and the brake still buggered. Phil and Ted's ended up sending us a replacement "new compound" wheel but I'm not confident enough to risk being stuck out in the middle of the city while using this pram. especially since the new wheel keeps going flat too. initially everything, light weight, room poor quality wheels, problematic brakes, disgusting after-sales service

Updating previous review! – After using this pram for several months after my initial thrill of owning it, I now dont have anything to say about the pram or the company that owns this product. While under warranty I needed repairs done on the wheels. They buckled and blew off the rim! I got told this was my fault from leaving the pram in a hot house! Um if the house was hot… Read more

enough to do that to the wheels of the pram, don't you think we would be all dead?

Seat became a pain to raise with an older child, only way you could do this is if you have more than two arms or by taking the straps off the child, making them sit up, then lifting the seat. The seat straps to raise/lover also fall out of the slots :/ and if you have the other child in the toddler seat at the back it is easy for them to lower the main seat onto themselves. (not safe in my opinion.)

The hood on the main seat tends to constantly fall off. What they fail to tell you is that this is also another of the common problems with the pram!

Overall not happy with customer service, or the pram! Need to do alot to improve the product, or for me to recommend this brand to anyone again.

Have gone and got a love n care twingo. Now they have excellent customer service! the idea of it

would never buy Phil & Teds again – We bought our hammerhead as we didn't like the 3 wheel versions. Having a 2 year old and 4 month old at the time. In less than a year we have had to replace the hood framework as it didn't properly fit the buggy. The brakes failed whilst on a bus. The two front wheels fell off when lifting the pram into the car, later fell off again whilst… Read more

going up a curb with my 1 year old sitting in the front seat. The rear wheel doesn't go in a straight line and 'wobbles' despite new wheelbearings. I am waiting to see what they are going to do to sort this at the moment.

It is heavy, it is getting difficult to push and turn in a smooth circle. It often doesn't fit through single doors despite being a tandem style pushchair.

As soon as I am happy to go back to a single pushchair I will be. I am disappointed as I liked the front seat for my baby, but I worry it will fall to bits when I am out and about.

poor quality and difficult to manover

Worst pram ever! – I have had this pram 9 months it was back to the shop 4 times for repair! day one with a fault strap part missing, took a month to rectify, had to be sent away. then the brakes failed 3 months later, another month with out the pram. then one of my tires when funny, tube would pop out the side, even when flat, told me it wasn't under warranty as it… Read more

had to be my fault so i bought a new one but it turned out different shape to old one called the place i bought it phil n teds agreed to send 4 free tires except the tubes did the same thing while siting dormant for 2 weeks like they inflate themselves in hot weather!! it bucks the rim and stretches the tire and tube, asked for a refund, got refused and was told they will keep sending me out free tires till im out of warranty in 3 months!! Never will i buy Phil N Teds again! It was light and when my son got in it didn't flip ke 3 wheelers. Strap was missing, brakes failed and all 4 tires died and the plastic in the back folds if your kids heavy cant support the weight
