Broke after 14 months
Helped my 90 year old neighbour pick out a TV.
Choose Phillips as thought it was a good brand.
Broke after 14 months, Good Guys and Phillips said too bad, only 12 month warranty.
Screen shows Phillips logo for 1 second then goes black. Can still hear sound.
Cannot record to USB, cheap TV suitable for bedroom/man cave
TV is very cheap ($199), which means its basic. User Manual is short and lacks clear detail, especially on recording to USB. This TV has a glitch which had a black unresponsive screen, with a band of fluctuating colour at the bottom; manual advised pull plug for one minute then reconnect (this worked). Tried several USBs to record programmes, it only recorded 2 minutes. Tried changing settings, reformatting, no luck. This product will be good as a 2nd TV for mancave or kid's gaming etc but as the saying goes, you only get what you pay for.
