Philips 8900 series 4K UHD MiniLED TV 55PML8969/98

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS - With the scarcity of Philips TVs for sale in the domestic AV market, I was only able to purchase this unit online from JB HiFi in Melbourne, but it was delivered to me in 48 hours, so there are no complaints there! It set-up easily and works well, producing a fabulously clear high resolution picture with the mini LEDs producing a superior backlight for the screen. Operation of the free-to-air channels is easy, but trying to control the Android GoogleTV functions is a mountain I have yet to scale. From past experience with Android TVs, just when you've think you've conquered the system, Google does an update and the learning curve arcs up again! However, this TV has so many excellent features, only found on other units for twice or three times the price. I highly recommend this TV, for it's performance, looks and price!
