I bought the Phillips Avent starter kit and a separate bottle as an extra and have used them all during the last few weeks. The starter kit bottles measurements have faded but the separate bottle bought that doesn't require a blue ring has not faded at all. So I called the consumer line only to be told that if I use Milton tablets to sterilize bottles will fade so I asked why hasn't the other bottle I bought measurement's faded at all and got told maybe the tablets hit the other ones more or it was made in different batch. hmmm well why don't y...

I bought the set of 4 bottles for my first one and found out I was only using the two small size ones for the first 3 months. I had changed the teats once in between.

Have to say it is annoying everytime have to remember putting the blue ring in the middle otherwide the milk is leaking everywhere. their teats get really oily everytime and even with hot water clean the oil still stays. the material of the teats are little bit hard compare to other brand I have bought, and the shape of the teat design is not closed to breast in anyway.

These bottles are difficult to feed baby from as they have no air vent so the pressure builds up inside the bottle meaning the baby has to suck harder and harder. Also the shape of the nipple isn't at all like breast. Very annoyingly you always have to remember to add a seal to the bottle otherwise the contents leak every where. There are much better bottles I discovered - miomee - much easier for baby and the nipple has an air vent which does not create a vacuum inside the bottle. Nipple is like breast so if like me you're supplement feeding this is a much better option.
