Beware of the foil when you shave anywhere in your body – Hello Everyone, I had the Bodygroomer since 2015 and it does the job, no issues with battery or the close shave, unfortunately I did not realise the foil has cracked and when I started shaving my legs it scratched my leg yesterday and made it bled. So please check your foil frequently so it does not happen to you. Otherwise it is a good shaver.

Battery died in no time – The shaver itself was okay, but the battery died in a matter of months rendering the whole thing useless. I get 1 minute at best out of a full charge now. Not really worth the time chasing it up for the cost and can’t just use off the wall as it has no power point. Very disappointing product.

2 Foils later – My first foil lasted 2 weeks. Returned whole unit to store, replaced. Next one, i watched foil closely, and found a crease had started forming within 15 minutes of use. I photographed this. I tried to treat it very gently, even flipped the head 180 degrees. A day or 2 later, the crease had become a hole in the foil. Now rooted! I Have Proved the… Read more

Foil head to have a DESIGN FAULT. If Phillips Have found this, and have Fixed the manufacturing process that caused it, I would be happy with a replacement. ( Only if it has been fixed!!!!)

What a piece of machinery – I have lurked the review section for many a month, and finally I have built the courage to write my own. I received my body groomer earlier today and put it straight on charge. Despite it saying it needed 8 hours for a full charge I could not wait and took it off at 7.5, but this did not phase the groomer and it outlasted my extensive body shave… Read more ·  1

(5 stars for battery).

I started off dry and on my stomach. Very nice. The dual sided trimmer made it a breeze, a simple back and forth motion is all it takes, rather than bending my arm in uncomfortable direction. The only thing I can say is that the foil shaver in the middle provides something of a closer shave than I intended but it's ok. 5 stars for stomach action.

Up to the chest region, and you can run straight over your nipple without any worries. Wetting the chest helps. 5 stars for chest action.

I was not due for a pube trim for at least another few days but I thought why not. My excitement got the better of me and I sustained what I will rate as a medium-sever slice to the base of my manhood. Did not bleed much but currently stings. 5 stars for pube action. I will survive. Continued on to the inner upper thigh area with no problems. 5 stars for inner upper thigh action.

Next I put on the 3mm guard to do the armpits. Due to the angle of the trimmers it was slightly awkward but I got there. I recommend doing armpits wet. 5 stars for armpit action.

All up an enjoyable experience. Should I choose to buy the extendable arm to be able to shave my back I expect this will be a pleasant experience however I don't have hair on my back at the moment so this is not of my concern currently. Preemptive 5 star for back shaving action.

Thanks Philips a lovely product.

Not worth the money – Hi brought the shaver 4 weeks ago worked well till the foil fell apart then went to buy a new foil only to find the foil coast $34 Australian dollars when the whole shaver is $31 dollars how do you justify this. And why do the foils only last a short time. Ray

Waste of Money – Body Groom left rash on sensitive areas and "bit" in to other areas - definitely not a body shaver. Left stubble. After using for a few months, the foil required replacement -replacement foil would have cost $45.00 for a shaver that cost $55.00 so I chucked shaver in bin.

Bodygroom does trim or cut hair – I Bought the Philips IPL hair removal for men and got PhilipsBG2024 Body Groom Shaver with it .......this shaver did not cut or trim any hair on my chest or back where I wanted it to and I am very disappointed just ended up using a hand razor and it did a better job at trimming and cutting the hair before using the Philips IPL for men … Read more

it runs for only 50 mins before you have to charge it for 8 hours a bit to much in my opinion

this body groom body shaver is a waste of money in my opinion and I am now looking for a body shaver that's works any recommendations? ( no more Philips shavers for me)

Fingers crossed the Philips IPL for men works guess we will wait and see
