Don’t get me wrong, I love this toothbrush. I bought my first Sonicare July 2016 and I have had numerous units since then. However every single one of them, including my current one bought Aug 2020, suffers from the same problem. After using it a while (in the last instance 5 months) the shaft that holds the brush head becomes loose. The result is a unit that makes a lot of noise but does little brushing. I don’t understand why Philips haven’t addressed this issue. I had hoped that the 9000, being a new version of the units I had previously, ...would have included an updated design to prevent the wobbly shaft problem. But no. I have contacted Philips and their customer service is really good but they’ll do what they’ve done the previous times, send me a new unit and this one I know for sure will go the same way as all the others. And I’ll contact them again and on it goes. Unless they address this in the design phase then rest assured, when you buy a Sonicare you WILL have the same problem.
