perfect coffee maker
Bought this model HD6596 Switch through relatives in the Netherlands as for some reasons Philips Australia does not sell them here. This unit does both, use coffee pods for 1 or 2 cups, and one can make up to 7 cups filter brew. Got this machine now 1 month and it replaced an older Senseo standard one which lasted 10 years ! Imported from the Netherlands it did cost $ 205.00 Coffee pods are available through various Dutch shops and can be bought on line. Cost is about 32 cents per cup using the pods. making the filter obviously brings the cost per cup down. It's a shame it is badly promoted here as the coffee is excellent and the unit easy to use. Would give it more stars if this was possible !!
