Great but won’t but Philips again
Great time saver, better results than cooking in the oven, super simple to use and clean. Anything that you cook in a regular oven can be done faster and usually better in the air fryer.
Expensive appliance compared to others on the market.
I would recommend airfryers BUT I wouldn’t buy Philips again based on price and after sales service.

I’ve been round that loop with your public offer to help but then I’ve just been bounced around Phililips call centres with no attempt to resolve. The resolution for me is to not buy Philips products.

Good machine
Sleak stylish looking air fryer that fits enough chips for a family of 4. Lots of room, healthy option for cooking. Quick to cook the food. Use this matching every day. Would be lost without it. No problems with it what so ever. Would recommend to all. And would stick with this brand

Does a reasonable job
I have persevered with this appliance for several months. If you are not fussy and near enough will do you will like this appliance. But if you are fussy you will find you produce a better product from a normal fan forced oven or deep fryer. Best results for chips is to purchase the 1kg pack of frozen standard sized chips, place half the pack in a large bowl, sprinkle over about a tbs of oil, shake well, and put them on for 25 minutes at 200 degrees. Roast potatoes come out soft and dry at any setting. Just don't ever fool yourself into belie...
Read moreving this appliance will do chips and roast vegetables as good as the traditional methods. There is a difference. People who post rave reviews like the convenience and using less oil. But I cook frozen fish taking exactly the same time in a conventional fan forced oven (22 minutes), and my roast potatoes in the oven are crisp on the outside and moist and fluffy inside. This is something I can't ever achieve in this appliance. So for the sake of convenience it is O K, but just another appliance to clutter our kitchen to cook chips when the grandkids come over.2 comments

Hi, my son cooked fatty steak in the fryer and the fats burned and stuck on the basket. My kids used harsh sponge to clean it and removed the black coating. Where can I replace the frying basket.

I am not sure but I think if you call Phillips customer service center to ask then they will tell you where you can buy new basket

Hi. Can I use a little olive oil, or other true oils, in place of spray. I’m cautious about spray oils. Cheers

Hi there, thanks for asking this. It is possible to use any kind of oil which is suitable for grilling, baking, roasting or frying. However, we do recommend to be aware of cold-pressed oil, because this is not suitable. This type of oil can burn at high temperatures.
