Not Australian not what I ordered
Ordered calendars made a mistake ordering and ordered too many.
They would not refund the extra money I paid but gave me a credit.
When calendars arrived discovered they wete printed overseas..not Australia as their mane implies.
Decided to spend credit on a canvas print.
Also not printed in Australia and was not printed on canvas. It is printed on plasticised cardboard!
Wil never deal with deceitful overseas company again.
Use Photobooks R Us. Great quality printed in Australia and you get what you pay for. If any problems they will replace it.
Highly Recommend Photobook Australia!
I have used Photobook Australia for many years now. I find their product of excellent quality. The website is easy to use, customer service on the phone is always very helpful and the product delivered well packaged and without damage (as opposed to the company I had previously been using). When I did have a photobook arrive with slight damage it was replaced immediately. My photobook sometimes arrives within 1 week from ordering so I think that is pretty quick turn around. If you do enough photobooks in a year it's worth joining the "Photobook Pass" which gives you a number of books delivered free and other benefits.
Happy with the overall product... but... there are many hidden costs and tricks
I found the process of using a discount voucher very confusing and frustrating.
When I got to the checkout I was charged extra out of pocket. Apparently you have to remove the upgrade added on. I think this is a bit sneaky. It was to do with the paper quality apparently and something I wouldn't have picked up.
I remember trying several things to check that my order was correct despite the random out of pocket charges. I just gave in to the out of pocket charges in the end after a lot of work setting up my photo book because I was scared to ...
Poor Service and Non Working Vouchers
Via Groupon I was sold 4 x non working vouchers, I am out of pocket and neither Photobook not Groupon have any solution, other than we will 'look into it', Photobook won't respond at all. I will not be purchasing from Groupon or Photobook again. Then Groupon has the hyde to send me an email saying I'm glad I enjoyed my experience, what a joke!

Great quality and fast delivery!
I’ve been a customer for just over two years now and received my latest order and it’s fantastic - thank you! Shipping is usually quite fast and this time was no exception. The customer service team in Melbourne has been very helpful and able to resolve my queries over the phone. In the past I have ordered the hard cover image wraparound books and soft cover books but have recently started trying the mugs and puzzles. Highly recommended, especially the puzzles, going to be making more of these as Christmas presents!
Confusing postage costs with vouchers - buyers beware!
Buyers beware - do your research on postage costs - and understand that you cannot use multiple vouchers when you have an item with a quantity greater than one.
Prior to buying any vouchers I did a test and added a 12x12 canvas to my cart with a multiplier of 6. This automatically qualified for free shipping as the total was more than $160. Unfortunately having purchased the vouchers on sale, I learnt that you can only add one voucher per product (not quantity), which has left me with an additional charge of $52.95.
I sought clarification t...hrough the support email address, and received mixed / confusing information. Since posting my initial review on here a support person has reached out and attempted to clarify some of the points - and to their credit have been extremely responsive. However my initial thoughts have not changed. When placing an order for a single canvas to be printed 6 times...it qualifies for free shipping, however only 1 voucher can be used so you end up having to pay for an additional 5 canvas prints. Instead, you need to create individual orders and apply the voucher 6 times. That is how they get you...now you're paying delivery on each item as individually they won't ever reach the free shipping threshold. They/the courier are posting the same number of exactly the same items, in one scenario - the shipping is free, in the other, its $52.95. The response from the Photobook Australia was that they couldn't run a business selling canvas' for $12.95 each and not being able to charge for shipping, and that they're incurring a higher shipping cost than what they're passing on (which may be true). That being said, the $12.95 canvas turns out to be $26.90. Shop around, currently BigW have the same canvas on sale for $19 and can be picked up for free from your local store (so while $19 is more than the $12.95...once you take into account the postage cost you are better off financially getting it from the BigW store). Sorry Photobook Australia...I won't be coming back again...but thanks for telling me about the BigW sale! I have been asked by the company to remove some statements from this review, which given their responsiveness and willingness to provide further information I have done so.
This is the first time I used Photobook Australia recommended to me by a friend who has been using it for a while. I created a photobook of over 150 pages for our European Trip last year and it just arrived today and looks beautiful. Once getting a hang of the online editor I found the whole process easy and simple to use. Once ordered it only took a couple of weeks to arrive even with all the COVID delays currently. I'm super impressed and now looking forward to starting my next project! Thanks so much!
Would not recommend
I ordered a baby onesie with a personal print on it. The website said guaranteed 7 day shipping, which was quite pricey by the way! By tracking the order I could see that the onesie was ready to be shipped within a couple of days so seemed on track but then they took about 3 weeks to actually decide to ship it to me! Ended up being around a month of waiting for a product which ended up having very poor quality print. Very disappointed with my purchase. Definitely would not choose to go with Photobook Australia again.
I downloaded the offline software to make a photobook, and really enjoyed the program...until it came to uploading it to order it. I experienced glitches adding items 2 items the cart and several phone calls later had to purchase the 2 projects separately (calendar and photobook). The shipping is WAY overpriced, it cost more to ship the calendars than it cost to buy the voucher to make them. Though shipping was prompt.
Beware of the quick expiry date of the vouchers too! I nearly didn't make the deadline and it made the whole process stressful!...
Photobook's Despatch Company
My books have been in transit for ten days. The last seven days the books have been sat in one place somewhere between Sydney and Melbourne distribution centres - must be on the border. I wrote to "Aramex" and of course you get a standard reply which is of no use to anyone. Certainly, unable to track via Photobook's tracking system as that doesn't work. My order still shows as not having even been printed but I know it has. Photobook you need to get your application/program working properly and change your delivery provider. DHL did a wonderful job but Aramex is definitely not worth working with.
Impeccable quality and user friendly website
I'm actually blown away by the quality of my photobook!!! It cost $100 odd, it was worth every penny, (tried many others that weren't), the delivery was super quick and the quality..wow!!! can't recommend highly enough. Will definitely use again

Avoid these people
If you are looking for a reliable and value for money supplier then I would suggest you buy from elsewhere. I paid $40 for expedited service (3 days apparently) and it actually took 14! Product came from Malaysia, to Singapore then Hong Kong before finally arriving in Sydney. No meaningful help at all from 'customer services'. Avoid this company and save your money.
Good product for the price but not my preferred
I purchased a 2-book Photobook voucher for $38.95, which gave me 2 codes for the discount. The website was easy to use and I had no difficulty creating my product.
The issues came when I was trying to use the voucher - I could only apply one code at a time. I contacted Photobook via webchat on May 15th about the issue. Given that they usually didn't respond for 2 days each time, and I wasn't given all the info I needed each time, the issue with the voucher wasn't resolved until May 27th. Then I was very annoyed to find I was charged separ...
Seemed liked a good deal until you add on the shipping cost ! Don't do it! After pain staking process of terrible app finally got to check out and boom shipping more than the prints! Save yourself time and avoid this site!
Very slow to arrive, average product
I ordered a photo puzzle for a gift. After 2 weeks, I followed up to see where it was. I was told that the item I ordered had a supply issue and that I could order an alternate product. The alternate product ended up being exactly what I had ordered in the first place and the short supply item was a completely different item! In all, took 4 weeks to arrive and I missed being able to give it as the intended gift. Quality of the cardboard puzzle is ok - average I would say. I was surprised to see that it came on its own , only in a plastic bag. I...assumed it would come in a box and perhaps have a photo image of the puzzle on the outside so you could look at what you were trying to make - as puzzles always are when you buy them. I would not order this product again.

I have created several excellent albums with Photobook Aust. without any issues, however, suddenly I'm unable to upload/add most of my photos - they keep getting rejected even though the format is identical to previous photos I've uploaded. Anybody able to help asap? Thanks

These jokers printed my photos upside down on my wall calendar. In the past 3 days, I have sent them 15 emails with no response. I’ve tried calling both phone numbers in their website and both constantly engaged.
Can anyone help me contact this con artists?

Why does my Photobook say " This project has incorrect number of pages. Please add or remove page to meet production requirements" when I go to order?

Hi Ecaviar, apologies for the late reply. Some books have multiples of 4 pages (medium sized) and some have multiples of 8 (small size). The message should say how many pages the project should have, for example if it's multiples of 4, then you would need to have 36, 40, 44 pages, etc.
