Is the ED medication a daily thing or just when you need to take it.

Hi. I personally take 1 pill daily as i find you don’t get the full effect if you take it off and on. Pills didn’t start working until about 5-6 of taking it consistently.

Is your medication just a monthly quick fix or is it actually a long term cure for ED and PE. I've been caught before by a few 'fly by night' companies offering similar medications for these symptoms. Regards Phil.

There is no cure, it's medication that is taken to eleviate a problem. It's the same medication a face to face Dr appointment would prescribe. I don't know why you are using the term quick fix? It works for me & because of my job, getting it delivered means ease of access. If not I would go to the Dr and get it bulk billed cheaper.

Yes, it’s certainly a help while other factors such as stress etc are being sorted out.
Delivered and with a few repeats.

Hi Phil, thanks for your question, and thanks to Steven and Nicky for your contributions.

Our doctors provide treatment plans for ED and PE which are ongoing. The aim is to fix the issue, but there can be a number of factors that cause both ED and PE. Your doctor can prescribe medication which we will deliver to you directly and discreetly and then provide ongoing advise through free follow up consultations and support to help you try and find a solution.

There is no 'magic pill' that fixes everything over night. We provide an discreet and easy method of obtaining treatment and ongoing support for men's issues that often more difficult to discuss.

If you have any further questions please feel free to get in touch with us at gday@pilot.com.au

Thanks again.

Hello. I've filled up the PE questionnaire on the web page but I'm hesitant to go ahead with the doctor consultation. Is Pilot going to provide me with a permanent fix to my condition or am I going to be hooked to medication from here on if I want to have a satisfactory life? I need to turn this situation around and fast. I've ignored this issue for far to long.

Hi Lucas,
These are questions you can raise with your doctor on Pilot. Sadly, I'm not a doctor so I'm not trained or comfortable in answering the above, but our doctors on the platform are independent doctors who know men's sexual health. Please email us at gday@pilot.com.au if you require extra assistance in the process. All the best, Charlie

You can purchase online, but you need to be sure that you don't get product from China or India. They are very "Hit & Miss" products, that work "Sometimes"!!! If you think you are ok purchasing from that big 'Canadian' company, think again. Their products are Direct from INDIA

Hey Habib. Hair loss treatments are all like this - that's just unavoidable I'm afraid. Our partner pharmacies source the best treatments, and it is not designed to make you keep using them, that's just the current best-in-class solution.

It seems the His Clinic who run a very similar business model also have a customer support representative named “Charlie”. We are in no way affiliated with His Clinic!

I initially tried to purchase through His Clinic and I can only say it was a frustrating and annoying experience. I will never use their service again. Very unprofessional and I couldn't even get a reply to an email or a message sent from their own platform. PILOT on the other hand is nothing but professional and efficient. I love PILOT...

Hey guys now that the Australian government has made phone and telehealth consults a billable item through Medicare, will you review your pricing structure for consults?

2 answers
Pilot.com.au
CharliePilot.com.au

G'day Joel,
Good question. Short answer: we're looking into it. Long answer is: Medicare doesn't work for the Pilot platform's own mix of text and voice, and integrating Medicare billing would some more work. We're keen to look at mental health consultations for a first port of call. In the mean time, we think $20 is a fair and affordable price for Australian men to access the benefits of convenience, discretion and health management on our platform. Hope that makes sense, Charlie

Very good response/explanation. Agree that service is still incredible value in the interim.

Richard D.asked

Why do you feel right about charging such high prices when tons of reputable online sellers sell the same products for 1/4 the price???

5 answers
Pilot.com.au
CharliePilot.com.au

Hi Richard,
It's not really comparing oranges and oranges as don't offer the same service - we include a doctors consult and ongoing care in the price. These are so you can access a script in one seamless flow. So if you compare to big-brand chemists, our prices aren't at their level, but you get more. We're getting to a size now where we can drive pricing pressure down on our model and make it accessible for more men. Hope that answers the question, Charlie

Goose G

There are several aspects that flow into their pricing. They’ve listed them here:

1) GP consultations - are actually free if bulk-billed at your local GP, since Medicare subsidises up for $70 on these consultations. The government does not allow telehealth to access Medicare for patients situated in urban locations. We pass on a small fraction of the cost to the patient and absorb the rest ourselves.

2) We provide free follow up consults - once again medicare would subsidise these in your visit to a bulk billing clinic or you would pay an out of pocket expense for a private clinic.

3) We provide free express shipping of the medication that does not apply in cases where the medication is picked up from the
pharmacy, so there is an additional cost there.

Last reason, and more of a temporary one we hope, is that as we grow and able to negotiate better pricing with the pharmacies we can provide better value. As we have been in operation for only a short period of time, this is something we hope to improve in future.

For ED, do we have to continue the medication all the time or it might be just a course and that will fix the problem

1 answer
Pilot.com.au
CharliePilot.com.au

Hi Chitto,

It varies on patient to patient. You generally start with a course of treatment, and have a follow-up with your doctor after a little and determine what needs to happen next. Often there are other health issues that contribute to ED, so fixing those also helps. In any case - best to talk to a doctor on the Pilot platform as they know best.

All the best,

Charlie

Hi Amir, thanks for the question.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to mention medications as I'm not a doctor - only they can explain the options. But we do have a wide range of medications available through our pharmacy partners with many possible alternatives.
Please complete a doctor's consult to chat to them about the options:

Hey Pilot,

I use your app if we could have the following
- full profiles of the doctors (where they're from, ID pictures)
- what their doctoring background is
- a star/% rating
- holistic?

Thanks

1 answer
Pilot.com.au
CharliePilot.com.au

Hey Glen,

We do give you a full bio (via email) when you get assigned your doctor. This includes their interests and background. We don't do it beforehand as we don't want people requesting specific doctors and skewing demands. As for a star rating, it's illegal in Australia to have testimonials for specific doctors (crazy, I know). And as for the last point, not 100% sure what you mean by holistic? Let me know and I'll get straight back to you.

Cheers,

Charlie (founder)
