Quality job

Having a roof restoration is an enormous investment in a home. Our home is one which slopes down from a pretty busy road, so this had to be right, as the roofscape was pretty much what was seen. We put it off for 6 years but eventually chose to go down the road of a full restoration. Peter and Robyn and the whole team at PJ Group made the process surprisingly easy. Appreciated the really excellent communication both by phone and email and in person. Every person with whom I came in contact was courteous and knowledgable and knew what they were talking about. Clean up during and at completion of the job was great and the finished job exceeded expectations. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted a quality job.

Tile roof restoration

All company staff were very professional and helpful. The Roof restoration guys are all incredibly hard workers who can be justifiably proud of the end product they complete. When I had any queries, all staff, took the time to answer with complete knowledge.

Had internal house painted..excellent job..on time, professional and they cared, cleaned up afterwards and dependable ..highly recommend this company. I have also had PJ Group for roof cleaning..a company you can trust

Quality work at a fair price

We have engaged PJ Group on two occasions for roof restoration, carpentry and painting. All of the work has been of a high standard. Late changes were quickly and professionally managed.

A very rewarding experience. Job well done

Peter came through with all that was required, his team approached and completed the job in the most obliging, respectful and professional manner and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Great job and very professional

Great company to deal with. Not the cheapest but a fair price for the quality provided. The team also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Very professional firm with excellent staff and professional tradies

The office staff made sure all our needs are covered in the work package providing professional advise and assistance. The site tradies took careful consideration of all site specifics and did great, professional work.

Great job delivered to intended design

I had a full tiled roof restoration and painting done. Peter and the team delivered a great job and were very easy when it came to additions along the way. They crews that came to site kept me in the loop every step of the way and the team in the office were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a difficulty. It seems to me that you get what you ask for with PJ Group. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service and communication

Quick quoting with clear explanation on what needed to be repaired. Excellent communication. Only small thing was the 4-6 week lead time start the job but I can’t blame them for that with a big workload and in the middle of storm season.
Very happy and would recommend.

Professional and Caring

My wife and I were extremely happy we chose the PJ Group to restore our roof. From each stage of the work in progress we observed the professionalism, experience, courtesy and assistance that came across from their office staff as well as from the men performing the work each time they came to the our home address.
I accepted their quote on the basis of it being competitively priced for the work we asked them to do and PJ Groups reputation of doing quality work for a number of years.

Excellent company

PJ group have done an Excellent job done in a timely manner each of the three times we have used them in the past 5 years. Many thanks.

Happy with the service and job

We found the PJ Group to be very professional and courteous. Phone calls to advise when they were coming and advised us that they would be back to complete the job. A couple of questions on completion and one of the PJ team attend our home and went through the issues with us. I'd say we found PJ Group very professional and are grateful for this.

Really impressed.

Don’t get them to clean and paint your roof, especially if you have rain water tanks, (as we do), which you totally rely on for water, especially drinking water.
I thought that by using a company that has been around for many years and paying top dollar for a product/service, would ensure a job done right, but how wrong was I!
When Peter, (the owner) initially came to quote on the job, I mentioned that a plastic sock was used many years ago on a previous roof paint job, to divert the water, and he said “SIMPLE”, but basically ignored me, (A WOMAN)!
When they washed the roof they directed the water into our gutters and then into the down pipes that feed our water tanks. They used a piece of CARDBOARD to cover the inlet, instead of a plastic sock diverter, which re-directs water away from the inlet – yes, a piece of CARDBOARD, (Genius Peter)!
When I told Peter the water was grey and not clear the day after the initial roof clean, (the Genius) told me the water would be safe to drink – he didn’t even look into the tank!!
On top of all this, water that was washed onto the garage roof, connected to the house and tanks, mostly stayed there in down pipes, roof and gutters, (which I found there a week later), when I got up on a ladder with a hose etc, and cleaned it MYSELF. I am a lady in my early 70’s, a carer for my husband who’s had a stroke and I had cancer myself a few years ago. I cleaned/cut vines off the top of tanks that had been growing there for 30 odd years, so I could clean muck underneath and wash the top of tanks. The tanks are flat on top, so if I didn’t clean the top of the tanks this remaining muck would again wash into the tanks.
I rang the company again a week later, (as they did not follow up) and I told them I was deducting some money off the final payment, (they quickly agreed), so I could pay to have the tanks pumped out, the inside high pressure cleaned and that muck disposed onto our acreage and replaced with some fresh water, plus my MANY hours in labour costs, cleaning up their mess. The entire nightmare should be fully refunded, no one should have to endure this unprofessional service.
The whole process has been incredibly stressful and ongoing, and had I not been vigilant and physically aware of their poor, unhygienic and highly unethical workmanship, who knows what could have happened to my husband and myself, due to the chemicals and sludge that was washed into our main source of drinking water, or remained in the pipes/gutters for future rain to wash into our tanks.
Some might say, “why didn’t I get them back to fix up the mess”, well I say this – “If you had the Devil here doing what was done, why would you get Him back to fix it” – BEWARE!!

(Published for my parents, please contact for verification of their details)

We have endeavoured to address this client’s concerns above and beyond that which would be expected under normal circumstances and we appear to have reached an impasse. Unfortunately in this era of social media one can expect to be impacted upon at some point.A blanket statement doesn’t qualify as reaching an impasse, especially if you want to continue to stay in business with a reputation of high standards and ethics/morals. I don’t think you comprehend the seriousness of what happened and essentially what could have eventuated, we are talking about the lives of people. It has nothing to do with being a social media warrior – my parents are in their 70’s, they don’t even really comprehend the world of social media, so please have more respect and don’t pass this review off as it being another social media “day in the office”, and take control of your moral compass. You did not endeavor to address anything, my parents advised you that the water tanks were full of grey water and Peter said, “it’s safe”. It wasn’t until my mother contacted you again and advised she was holding back enough money to fix the problem that you then agreed. It wasn’t so she could hold back the money and have a party; the funds were totally consumed with rectifying the situation. The whole experience has left my elderly parents very stressed and worn out from having to fix this situation, that you should have taken control of instantly and in no way have they been compensated, and you have not gone above and beyond (this is not a normal circumstance in anyway)!!! Essentially my parents don’t want anyone else to have to go through what they have endured, which is why they need the public to be aware of your practices. There may very well be some good reviews supporting other clients great experiences, (happy for you), but that absolutely doesn’t make my parents experience invalid, and you should be grateful that they took the time to voice their experience, otherwise you could be facing a far greater battle in the future, when someone else falls seriously ill or worse. Consumers, read the other negative reviews for PJ Group and take seriously what has been said, especially if you live on acreage and rely on rain water to survive – PJ Group are taking your life in their hands.

A new roof made easy

From our initial enquiries through to the last touch-ups, Peter, the crew and office team were a delight to work with. We had great confidence in them all and their expertise. Everyone was thorough, happy to educate us on our options, consult on colours, kept us informed, were responsive, accommodating and pleasant to work with. It was a big investment for us and we are happy with the workmanship and attention to detail.

An outstanding job well done.

From the start it was obvious they knew their trade and did an excellent job. There was none of that overbearing must make a sale pitch in the whole quote process. PJ was very professional and direct to the task at hand and having solar panels was not an issue. Well done for an excellent result. Thank you.

It looks like a new house

PJ’s recently painted the outside of our house and the rendered privacy wall. The work was carried out in under three days and looks outstanding. Neighbors and passers by keep stopping in the street to tell us how beautiful the house looks. Very happy with the quality of the work and the paint products selected. We are in a rural area so we get a lots of birds and bats visiting and leaving their marks on the paint. So far they have been very easy to clean off.

Highly recommend using PJ flor your next painting project.

Installation of Whirley Bird

We were very impressed with Mitch, the tradesman who attended our job and would congratulate him with top marks on his manners and efficiency.

I could not fault the great service and friendliness of all concerned with the PJ Group from Peter Frazer, the office staff and the workmen who installed a downpipe and repaired and painted the guttering. If needed, I would use PJ Group again would have no hesitation in recommending PJ Group to my family and friends.

Roof restoration, external painting and internal painting of ceilings

I would also like to say how happy I am with the service received and work performed from PJ Group from all concerned - Peter, all the girls in the office through to the tradies who performed the work. I would have no hesitation in recommending PJ Group to my friends and would use the company again if needed. The roof looks amazing and the ceilings inside have really brightened up the house.
