Can be frustrating
Long term review
So my initial review was very positive. Since then, I’ve had issues with this device. The app could be to blame, but really they are one and the same thing when it comes to this product.
I had multiple events where he device refuses to connect to the phone via Bluetooth. I have experienced multiple problems where the GPS fails, so I don’t know how far I have run. Sometimes, despite wearing the device as instructed, mid-run, the the heart rate monitor fails and goes to naught - making the BPM inaccurate. I have to remove the ba...ttery - I’ve found leaving it in drains it dramatically more than removing it. The device should be rechargeable. The special button cells are hard to find. Very much now a love/ hate relationship. I use my apple watch as a backup now because I can’t rely on the Polar to do it’s job Short term review I have had the H10 for over 2 months now and run over 110km with it and it’s a great product. I love that there is no charging and you don’t even have to take your phone to pair with the Polar app or anything - you can run and it will upload / sync all the data next time you are near your phone. It’s set and forget and I really appreciate that. The app is pretty good too - I like that tracks GPS and (if you have your phone with you) it will read pace and distance back you which is very helpful for progress. Strongly recommended.
